Denny’s

Todays review is one I dont like to do. Because of the casier’s attitude towards me I removed a star. I’d like to give 4 stars so lets say this for the food and atmosphere and service up to the point when I checked out Id rate the experience 4 stars. Now what happened to me at checkout dropped it to 2 stars. I added a star back because I realize that in a small way it was my fault
I will explain it all at the end and it should all make sence to you. I Ordered the Senior grilled Talapia. It came with 2 sides, and soup or salad. The soup of the day was clam chowder. I opted for salad. It arrived quickly. IT was cold crisp, it had the dressing on the side. and tasted good. I really enjoyed it. My two sides were Sautéed Zucchini & Squash, and corn. The corn tasted as if it were the frozen type nothing spectacular. The zucchini & squash on the other hand was great. Made me wish I doubled up on the Zucchini & squash and not ordered corn. The Talapia was grilled to perfection. Moist and tender. It was a great meal And when my waitor got around to asking me I told him so. It goes down hill from here. They offer Seniors a 15% discount with an AARP card. It just so happens that in my opinion AARP had become too liberal for me, so I stopped paying dues. I Kept my old card to use at Dennys. They never check the expiration date and at a couple Dennys I go to they give me the discount automatically without looking at the card. My personal feeling is thats the way it should be. I dont believe seniors should have to belong to AARP to get the discount. As I stated I did feel that I was slightly to blame for letting my card expire but again I still maintain a Senior discount should be based on age not club affiliation. THIS will stop me from going to this Dennys but not all of them. Be sure to check out my pictures.

Sebastian is an excellent greeter and the food is good and quick! They seem to always be open and have a smile when greeting

I’ve been here maybe only twice in the last few years.
They recently remodeled this Denny’s location and it looks nice and metropolitan inside.
I came in the middle of the night of Friday with my friend because we were starving. There weren’t that many people dining here when we came but LORD HAVE MERCY it took 5EVER for our food to come out. I looked at the time I checked in and it was 45 minutes before they brought out my French toast and his burger… I have no idea what was taking so long.
The server was super nice though and I know the food taking long wasn’t his fault. He even gave me a refill on iced coffee when it doesn’t come with it.
The food was good at this location, but I wouldn’t recommend coming unless you have a buttload of time on your hands.

everytime me and my girlfriend visit this location for lunch we are greated immediately by CEASER!!! he is the best waiter we have came in contact with, always smiling and truly enjoys his job and his customers!!! we specifically will come here for our lunch to be waited on by CEASER!!! never have we ever had to ask for anything, he is always on top of his game! trust me, go there for lunch and ask for CEASAR!!! you wont be dissapointed!

The gentleman that greeted and seated us was friendly and informative, wish I’d caught his name. Annette R, our server, was friendly and patient while my 3 kids ordered. It was a good experience, clean, I like this Denny’s :)

The waiters are super friendly and fast. Came in after I left my car at the dealership to get a oil change and was seated as soon as I walked in the door. I like how they have plenty of parking. The hash browns btw have been the best I’ve had in any Denny’s you can actually get the Tate of butter. Some Denny’s I’ve been too seems like they just throw their hash browns on the grill and add no flavor. The manager who helped me check out was friendly and made small talk with my 5 year old.

This Denny’s is a little busy, but our waitress Lissett, was on the ball, running all over and getting everyone what they needed. Lissett is truly a great waitress! Even Mr. Grumpy across from us, left happy and satisfied.
Our food came out fast and warm. The servers are all pro’s and everyone seems happy and content.

Very friendly staff. Food came out fast. The waitress was very attentive and check on us every few minutes. Being that this was our last day and have received tons of poor service, this was a awesome way to end our Vacation

Arrived at 6:30. Got our food at 8pm. They need to hire more servers on Sunday evening. Food was alright.

Sebastian super nice guy and memo is a beast !! I had a super great time they cut my burger and they split it for me and my girl. Awesome location.

Time of visit: Feb. 3^rd around 9:30 p.m.
I placed an order of cheesesticks to go. After I paid for my order with a card, I couldn’t help but notice the chubby hispanic lady with tattoos all over her forearm stare down on the store copy of the receipt, drooling for a tip.
As a person in service industry myself, my tips average anywhere from 20−30%. But when you’re standing right in front of me pressuring to tip you, sorry woman, I’m going to leave you nothing like them cool kids. Plus, it was a simple appetizer take out where all you need to do is grab a sauce and a fork and dump it in a plastic bag.
When I wrote down 0 in tip section, the fatress gave me a dirty look. When I thanked her and told her I’d be right back, she gave me no response. While waiting for my order outside I had a strong feeling she was going to «forget» my marinara.
I checked my order as soon as I got in the car and what do you know? The sauce is, of course, not there hahahahaha. Instead of walking back in, I came home letting her think her «revenge» was sweet. Too bad I’m writing this awesome review and hoping her boss reads it.
Obviously she has no knowledge of making regulars for her restaurant. All because of just a buck. tsk. tsk.

Food was mediocre. Service was good until my boyfriend paid and the manager asks my boyfriend if he wanted to put tip on our card when we already had left cash on the table.

I remember this Dennys being a great location. Unfortunately my last visit ruined that. Cold breakfast and every item came out seperately, undercooked hashbrowns, untoasted toast, old and sour ranch with appetizers, and an unfriendly waitress. That about sums up my last experience. Waitress didn’t even care about how bad it was and when she was told she took a few dollar off the large bill and would not come back to the table.
Avoid this location, it is not worth the visit when there are so many other restaurants in the area.

This was actually the first time I ever went to Dennys! When my father and I first went in, we were quickly escorted to our table. Our servers name I think was Elisa. Mightve misspelled it. She was extremely kind to us and quickly came to us whenever we needed her! We received our food around 5 minutes from when we ordered (impressive) and it was amazing! I’m glad my first experience was great and I’ll definitely be back again!

My husband and I went to this Denny’s location for a quick bite. Our server was Lala, the ticket name says her name is Lisa A. This woman was so friendly and helpful that I made a comment that she must be a great mom. She laughed and said her daughter had moved out but she had two pups at home she had to give a lot of attention to. I think she more than likely takes really good care of them because she was awesome with us. Usually when we have a visit to Denny’s we see our server when we order and then she doesn’t come back until I’ve been out of coffee so long I’ve considered stealing the cup from the table next to us. Lala was on top of all that we needed and we were treated like gold.
I have numerous food allergies and this often causes a lot of issues when the waitstaff doesn’t know what is in stock or what can be substituted. I asked if their was yogurt without strawberries and she said that the vanilla was great tasting and that a bowl of fruit would be great with it. No Strawberries in the fruit. When I ordered my coffee she brought me Splenda right away. Either I look like that is my sweetener or she was paying enough attention to see me eye the sweetener searchingly. She gets point for the upsell and then more points for the Splenda.
Our food was delivered quickly and just as we asked it to be prepared. I know that shouldn’t be a big deal but with my food restrictions we often run into issues when the communication with the person taking our order and the kitchen. Lala was looking out for me and made sure everything was safe for me.
The real thing that made me a FOREVER LALA Fan was before we left she filled my to go mug, forever gaining my unconditional love. She was so positive and cheerful that I left Denny’s with a smile. I really liked her and jokingly suggested to my husband that we get her work schedule so we could see her again.
I recommend this Denny’s and suggest you ask to be seated in Lala’s section.

Good food!!! Service was a little slow though… Nice family restaurant… Good coffee!!!

I don’t understand when you order breakfast with toast and they burn it why do they see if you want it or not? I would think if you want burnt toast you would ask for it. If I ask not to burn the toast they bring you a warm piece of bread.

I’m here eating a garden salad *it’s fresh and good* and drinking a coffee whilst reading a book. Service is attentive but I could use another cup of coffee. I’m sure she’ll be around soon.
Done with my night out but wasn’t ready to head home. I stopped here to people watch a bit, not to hear someone allow their child to have a full blown tantrum :) .driving with kids call u back
Not Denny’s fault at all. I have kids. I get that they can be loud. I just wish others with loud children would take them outside to decompress instead of letting the ruckus go on inside :)
Yvonne is the manager. She was cordial and attentive.
They also have WiFi. Not all Denny’s do.

Came her for lunch… it was about 1030ish. Had a seat at the counter and was greeted by Andrea. She took a few orders then came back to see what I was having. I think what made this such a great experience was to see how extremely busy Andrea was and she was MORE than capable in performing under pressure. She continued taking orders, refilling drinks and asking how everyone was doing. I’ve been to many diners, many Dennys being part of that and I’ve seen some do a pretty good job while busy, but not with the same smile and ease Andrea made it look like.
She seemed to do the job of atleast 3 people easily, and I just really want to commend her for it

My friends and I came here on a weekday to study for our finals because we didn’t think people would actually study at a Denny’s. We were greeted when we entered and were seated right away. My friends and I decided to order food before we started studying. There are no outlets here for you to plug your laptop in and there is also no wifi. Just a heads up, in case you want to start studying at Denny’s. :)
I got the ’ build-​your-​own grand slam ’ with eggs (sunny side up), hash browns, sausage links, and bacon. Everything was delicious and the eggs were cooked perfectly but I didn’t like the sausage links. They tasted kinda funny like you can tell they’ve been in the freezer, thawed out, to be microwaved. It was not really appetizing. My friends seem to enjoy their food a lot though so that’s good. Our server was super friendly and came by to refill our waters often.
After we were done eating, our plates were cleared and I ordered hot chocolate to accompany me while I was studying. I love how on each mug that they bring out have a different quote on it. I really like reading the different quotes! We were studying there for a good 2 hours and the manager came by to check on us every hour. He didn’t mind that we were studying and he said that we can stay as long as we wanted to. He even refilled my hot chocolate because it was getting cold. The manager is super friendly, nice, and very accommodating. You rock!
During our study session, I noticed that a homeless man had came in. The manager offered the man some hot water and he sat in the back behind us. I thought that it was a really nice and sweet gesture.
Denny’s can be a hit or miss but on this particular night, the service that I received was extraordinary.
