Stopped in here randomly needing some beans and rice for a party I was throwing, which were excellent btw. The owner and her son were so nice and accommodating. They gave me a tasting of their seafood soup because I asked about it, which was great. Since then I’ve been back for tacos. Good! Always got to give major thumbs up to a nice, family owned restaurant.

HAHAHA! I love this place. The owner Luis has a good sense of humor, «I don’t care what it iz… I’ll make it, I’m not rich!» I throw all kind of special orders at him just to see if he’ll fold. NEVER. The guy always delivers without attitude and pride in his food. «You want hamburgesa?! I have best one! You try!» Most taco shops don’t really pride themselves in hamburgers, more or less advertise it openly. But he does… I love the lady(I think it’s the wife) too, she’s pretty open to different orders not listed. Foods great too… small from the outside and in a sketchy location, but its rocks…

Very clean place, my California Burrito was really good, service is good too. All good except the fact that there is no restroom for customers, that lost them a star. Would I return? Possibly.

Highly recommended!!! Excellent flavors. The ceviche was probably the best I’ve ever had and the carne asada chimichanga was delicious. The only thing that would make any of this better would’ve been choice beef for the carne asada instead of the select I believe they are using. However, with choice beef, you get higher priced food but so worth it in my opinion.

Good prices, good food, free chips and salsa, GREAT service. My California burrito was hot(cheese melted) and the fries were crunchy. My wife got the big plate for 6 bucks and it was big indeed. Overall the food was quality and the service was excellent.

This little taco shop is easy to miss. I was surprised at how clean and organized it was inside. I am always wanting to try street tacos every chance I get so on this day I purchased five beef tacos to go($ 7.29 with tax). The tacos came with salsa and guacamole; they were very tender and tasty. The menu had a favorite of dishes, burritos, tostadas, a variety of tacos and more. The service was fast and the prices were reasonable. The workers inside were friendly and efficient. *******Not a bad choice for good affordable Mexican food.

I stopped by here as a «Plan B» when my tamale lady was nowhere to be found. Oh my holy Jeebus! This place is phenomenal! I take my foods seriously and so do the folks here. Great portions, freshness and all of my soups every day! They even have legit birria made with chivo(if you know what that is you should be smiling)! I am making this my go to taco shop for as long as humanly possible. …don’t forget to try the tacos de cabeza and the chile relleno! It will not disappoint!

My husband and I were in the area recently, an decided to give this place a try. I’m sure glad we did! Very delicious, fresh Mexican food with good size portions. I bought the big plate. Which included two rolled tacos with guacamole, a bean tostada and a beef taco, at an awesome price. It cost a little over $ 5(it’s one of the specials). The tostada filled me up so I took the rest home. My husband ordered a ceviche tostada an loved it! The red and green salsa, tasted great! The guy that took our order(sorry I don’t recall his name) was very helpful and friendly. I can’t wait until I’m in the area again, I want to try the carne asada burrito.

The are a new addition to the ‘hood & they actually do Mexican food right! Family owned and operated. Luis & Rochelle are warm and friendly to every guest who walk through the door. They treat everyone like family and put excellence in customer service at the top of every experience. The food is better quality & flavor than some of the local competitors & they can get quite a crowd in their small restaurant because of this fact. –1 star because they are a bit more expensive than comparative fare. However, don’t let that stop you! As the old saying goes,“You get what you pay for” and these folks give much more!

Me and my fiancé love this place. We have tried their carne asada burrito and it was absolutely amazing and fresh! The carne asada fries was also amazing including the surf n’ turf burrito, shrimp burrito and fish tacos that we have tried so far… I like this better than the rigoberto’s taco shop across the street… If only La Morena would open 24hrs, I would show up, with every chance I get with a busy hectic schedule that I have. Can’t wait to go back again!
