If I could give zero stars I would! My partner and I waited for over an hour for food that never came! I asked the waitress after seeing everyone else get there food eat it and pay, is our food next? Well it wasn’t! It was a guy that had sat down way after us! Freaking ridiculous! Awful customer service I will never go back

I would give this zero stars. Went for breakfast and were the only people in the whole place and still had the worst service ever. Has to refill our own water after waiting for a server for 15 minutes. Food not even good. You know there is a problem if the restaurant is empty and the one next door has a 30 minute wait. Go next door to shades!

One of my fave spots for fish tacos and an ice cold corona with lime. Great place to take ur dogs with you. They have a k-9 bowl on the menu that your doggies will love.

We went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Luckily we got a table right away because it wasn’t packed! Afterwards we realized why. The waitress was either new or just slow, we ordered our food and drinks at the same time because it took her quite a while to come over at all. The food came out almost a half hour later and when it did it was lukewarm. Breakfast was decent at best. Considering the time it took to get service you’re better off waiting in line at Shades because at least you’ll get great breakfast in about the same amount of time.

Loved this place. Opens early, cheap food and drinks, awesome view, super friendly service, not too busy. This would definitely be a regular place for me if I lived here.

Great breakfast place! It’s like a surfer’s dive with menus & ketchup bottles that look 20 years old. But don’t let that deter you. The food is fantastic! Tim the cook makes everything perfect, whether it’s over easy eggs, hash browns, or biscuits and gravy, you won’t be disappointed. Plus you get to enjoy really cool music coming from the inside speakers and the beautiful ocean breeze!

After hearing about the awesome kid area and having been to wonderland and shades, I had high hopes for Tower Two. The kid area was pretty great for our toddler which figures in to my three star review. But for food alone, I’d call it a 2.5. My hubby and I both got the Santa Monica chicken sandwich, which came with bacon, cheese and onions. No tomato or lettuce which I found a little odd. No sides – and at $ 11 a pop and sides running a few bucks on top of that, really didn’t think the value was there for the quality of food. I’m totally happy to drop $ 15 for a great burger but it better be quality ingredients and come with a side. We also split tater tots. Nothing to write home about. They were okay. Service was neither good nor bad. It just… was. Being that we live in the neighborhood, I’m probably more apt to go to the restaurants next door. Kinda sad because I wanted to like this place more!

Great real estate, poor execution. Even though the view and location is amazing, the service and food is not worth a return. On a less than busy morning, my food took over an hour to come, as did other orders at my table. Also, the prices did not match the product. We paid $ 11-$ 14 for drabby diner food. Very unimpressed. In their defense, the servers were very sweet, but undertrained and inexperienced. In my opinion, bite the bullet and wait the 30 minutes for a table upstairs at Wonderland.

Only been here once and it will probably be my last, life is way too short to eat mediocre food. There are a few good things about this place, the location, the view and the prices. Oh and if you’re lucky the waitress who wears Daisy Duke shorts will be working. I can’t lie she has a nice body but it was a little distracting but she was looking good. The person I was with wanted an ocean view and decided on eating here before I could even look at the reviews. As I was looking at the menu I was also looking at the reviews and I probably just should have left because I’m tired of eating plain Jane food. I ordered the teriyaki wings which had more sauce then anything. I didn’t get anything to drink because I was in a bad mood once I saw the reviews. Our server who was the one with her azz hanging out was okay she did check on us twice. The vibe of the place was pretty chill but reminded me of just a simple beach restaurant with no wow factor.

One star for the location, second star for the fact that it’s dog-friendly. Minus 3 stars for the mediocre food and slow service. With two awesome eateries literally steps away, Tower 2 should be busting their butts to outshine the competition. I think they just benefit from Wonderland & Shades’ overflow. Fish Taco Review: Blech! I should’ve gone to South Beach. Who puts cheddar cheese on a fish taco?! The tortilla was dry, and the whole thing was tasteless. There are 100 other places with better fish tacos in town. This place is good for a Pacifico on the deck at sunset, nothing more.

This was my first time here and I only came because I had my dog and I was able to bring him up to eat with me so it was really great. When our waitress came over she got our drinks. It took her about 15 minutes to bring out our drinks. She left and didn’t even take our order. About 10 minutes later she came back and took our order. We sat there and had a few drinks and waited for our food. It took an hour for our food to come and half that time to get our check. We ended up being there almost 3.5 hours! I was getting really frustrated. When we got the check they put s 16.75 tip. The service wasn’t good for that type of tip. I will never go back there again. I will also advise my friends to never go here either.

Chips fried fresh to order. Dog and goat friendly, yes i said goat. Currently a goat on the patio. They even provide doggy water dishes. Beer selection is ok at best. Food is good

The bar is located in the best view of OB beach — in front of the beach. Great staff! The good thing is that they offer breakfast during all day! No matter what time is you can eat pancakes:) love it!!! We ask for mimosas and for a fish and shrimp fried combo!(Not our breakfast for sure!) The fish was perfectly cooked. The combo came with French fries and with a ketchup with wasabi. My husband loves it. About the mimosas, there were very good but actually, I don’t like drink in plastic vase. Mine was a blue and I can’t see the color and bubbles from mimosa. I can understand that is easy to clean and they don’t break but for me the taste of the drink it’s not the same

I do not believe that I will be visiting this establishment again. This is my second time here. First time was for lunch and both my partner and I had the tacos along w/chips and salsa. The salsa was bitter, very bitter. We told our waiter and his explanation was that sometimes they don’t get the best quality of tomatoes. He was kind enough to take this off our bill. Then we got to the tacos. Those were bitter too. Our waiter said he could make us another order, it would take a while but he could not take this off the bill. No manager was available and we were left to pay for a meal that we did not enjoy or eat. We looked at others in the place and most were having breakfast which looked good and they had nothing but good things to say. Maybe we needed to try breakfast? We did go back for breakfast… after all, it is a cute place and our dog is welcomed there. I had the BLT which was absolutely delish! My partner had the Eggs Benedict w/Sausage and Gravy. She enjoyed her meal until she found a hair in it. Lovely! She informed our waiter and his response was«no one back there has hair that long»… really? To sum this up… as cute as this place is and it does allow our dog on the patio, we will not be going back. I understand things happen in the kitchen and this and that but the responses from the waitstaff is really unprofessional. I can let a lot go but I will not deal with someone being rude.

Given my increasing disillusionment with Wonderland, on a recent beach day friends and I decided to try out the alternative downstairs. So nice to have a dog-friendly outdoor space. We stuck to drinks but service was prompt and friendly, the beach bucket of mimosas was inexpensive and covered one and a half moderately sized drinks per the four of us, and we got to soak up some sun in the meantime. Looking forward to returning for some food — there’s less flash and bang than it’s upstairs neighbor but so far, Tower Two is succeeding where they are not.

My boyfriend and I had the fish tacos. These were much different in taste than a taco shop. They’re very unique and absolutely delicious! The fish was marinated perfectly, the cabbage was so crunchy it almost had a perfect bitterness to it, they also had cheese and sauce to it, it’s just a perfect combination on their toasty tortillas. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. It did take kind of a long time for our beers to come out. The IPA wasn’t very hopey either. However, our server was very sweet and attentive. We also ordered fried which came in a large portion. Those were also cooked perfectly. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Stopped into Tower Two again a couple weeks ago for lunch with both of my dogs and again I was very pleased with how dog friendly the restaurant is. We sat at the back of the patio to keep the dogs out of the way and watched as several other dogs joined us on the patio during the meal. Since my big dog isn’t very dog friendly and I wanted to avoid a spectacle when we left the restaurant, I found an alternative exit for her. The bar at the back of the patio is open to the sidewalk/courtyard so I sent my friend to the other side and passed my dogs’ leashes to him under the bar and the dogs were able to crawl through. :) I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious. My friend had no complaints about his fish tacos either.

I like coming here for Sunday Brunch with girlfriends! They have an outside patio that offers a great view of the ocean and is a good spot for dogs! They offer water bowls and a «doggie bowl» with meat that you can order. Their breakfast sandwiches are really good. They offer the Lifeguard sandwich and the tower 2 sandwich. I like the one that is like the breakfast jack sandwich with ham, eggs, cheese, tomato and mayo.(I add bacon for extra flavor!) all for $ 4 They also have a $ 15 champagne bottle with your choice of juice. They have a turkey sub that’s pretty good but I add bacon to that too! I would recommend for Brunch and lunch!

I am definitely a fan of this place! I have been on the search for the best Bloody Mary in Ocean Beach and I found it here! The food is always consistently great. If you like shrimp, you definitely can’t go wrong with the shrimp tacos! 2 thumbs up from 2 fluffy foodies!

Lots to like about Tower Two, especially the great location looking our to the ocean, and big kid-friendly, dog-friendly patio. Good food and drink specials, especially during happy hour. The food? Some is better than others. The burgers are really good. The happy hour fish tacos were just okay. But a great spot to sit and enjoy the sun and view and have a bite to eat or a drink.
