Whenever I call in my order it’s always ready right when I get there. The fish is always delicious and fresh and I love their salsa. I will definitely become a regular!

Bummer. Ordered a salad and a beer and they over charged me by 3 bucks and when i questioned them they didn’t even seem to care, nor know the prices? Wtf. Also, the salad was a kale salad. …that didn’t have any kale. The guy at the counter gave some lame excuse for the chef, saying ohhhhh he probably forgot to put kale in. On a kale salad? I mean the name of the dish is KALESALAD. Anyway they remade it and it took forever. My friend said they are usually slow. Not impressed.

would be 3.5 stars but I don’t have an option for that. Service was the best part of the experience — very friendly and prompt. Chicken Tortilla soup was not bad, but tasted like it came from the can — had the universal spices which make soups indistinguishable. Onion rings and french fries were good. I ordered two fish tacos — one spicy and one mild. Both had very small quantity of fish, and tasted literally the same. Overall the experience was decent, but my memories of food from the prior visits(different locations) were a lot better.

Been here a couple of times and was helped by Chloe and Harrison. Hope I got the names and spelling correct. Both were helpful and seemed in really good spirits. Good, positive energy. Good food and prices. Thanks guys for the enjoyable eating experience.

Best fish tacos in town. Their spicy stuff is awesome, fast, and fairly inexpensive. Love this place. I always bring my out of town guests here because it was started in Southern California.

Pretty decent Mexican food options for all. Service is consistently good with great indoor /outdoor seating. Nice surfing videos show often. Good parking.

Since the Wahoo’s in Mission Valley closed, I’m now forced to drive out here to Point Loma for my Wahoo’s Fish Bowl with MR. LEE’s Hot Sauce! As par with all Wahoo’s I’ve been to, this place does not disappoint. Fast, fresh, affordable, and tasty grub!

I honestly don’t know how this place stays in business let alone has so many locations. We went in on a Saturday afternoon at 11:30 and both order the wahoo bowl I think it was called. Just supposed to come with grilled fish, beans and rice. I should have know it would be disgusting when our meal arrived only about 2 minutes after ordering. Usually a good thing but not when your ordering grilled fish. This was the worst fish dish I’ve ever had. It had lame fake little grill marks on it and literally tasted like tuna out of a can. This is your damn namesake and it tastes so fishy it’s not even edible?! Pretty sure there just mark it on a grill and either microwave it or let it sit in a steam table. The rice was bland as hell and beans were gross too. Ended up leaving after about two bites because I couldn’t even choke it down. I’ve lived in San Diego about 5 months now and this is the first bad meal I’ve had here. Was hoping to like it bc we live close but will Never be back. Save yourself the money and just dump a can of tuna I top of some microwaveable white rice

Really cool atmosphere, filled with skate and surf stuff. We got two burritos and a beer for $ 25 and it came out quick, hot, and everything was delicious! The staff was friendly and even came around after we got the food to make sure we were still good. When we ordered we did not receive the drinks we asked for. I got a glass of water that I ended up grabbing myself, and my husband had to ask the guy that brought the food for his beer again. Not sure if it was supposed to come at the register or with the food. Their beer of the month was Sam Adams Boston Lager, but they had Stone beers too. Cool to see local brews available. Also, parents with diaper kids: there is no changing table in the restrooms, so plan ahead. They don’t have solid hours, so be flexible. Definitely will be going back!

Have been coming here since I was a kid… Love the fish tacos! They are not greasy or fried like the ones you get at most places that serve fish tacos. The salsa is always fresh and the ambiance is low-key… Will keep coming back everything I visit CA.

The food is good. Five of us were dining and all had different items. All looked very good. Service was also very quick. The only thing I disliked is that they charge for chips, and the serving size is very small.

Kahlua pork is the best meat option. They recently altered the recipe some, so it’s not AS good, but still delicious. I like to mix the white and black beans and get it in a bowl.

Wahoo’s has been one of my favorite casual grab and go spots. The quality seems to have gone down a little with my most recent visit. The cashier was super sweet and attentive but very very slow and re-read my order 3 times. I appreciated her being thorough but it took a long time, I can’t imagine if they were busy! I always get the Maui bowl but this past time the meat was not cut well and I had a lot of funky gristle pieces. Flavors were there, but saltier then I would have liked. My husband got the green chicken enchiladas and they were delicious!!! I think I got spoiled from the location in OC where I grew up, but was disappointed with this location. I’ve been to this location a handful of times and it just seemed a little unkept and on the dirty side this visit. Mgmt needs to show some attention and pride in this store.
Great service from the start. As soon as I walked in the door I had a swift greeting and even though the person in front of me took a bit on the longer side to place their order, the girl at the front was very helpful and very calm. My food was delivered promptly and it was so great! Thank you!

I really enjoy the fish burritos which are huge! My wife loves the fish tacos. The person who takes your order is always very helpful and friendly. Atmosphere is very laid back. The SoCal-Baja décor makes you feel like you’re on vacation. They serve beer, have a salsa bar, good chips, and good service. I like the big screen TVs that show extreme sports. This is my favorite Wahoo’s location which is near my work. Prices are reasonable. The food is very fresh and a more authentic baja-style. I definitely prefer Wahoo’s over Rubio’s. I wish there was a Wahoo’s close to our home in Vista.

Point Loma Wahoo’s is another great location… The unexpected bonus — they sell shirts here! No wait! The good — lots of room — same great wahoo’s food and service The bad — no booths — no green tea The ugly — single person restroom

Just your average fish tacos. I got two of the original and two of the new different ones for my mom to try. She’s never had a fish taco before and since we were in Cali, she wanted to try one. She was disappointed… I ate them and they were pretty average. nothing too special about them… Service was good. Tacos are okay.
