First time here… Went here to work while my dog was getting groomed across the street. Ordered a matcha green tea and bacon breakfast burrito. Matcha green tea: ok, nothing special Bacon breakfast burrito: really disappointed. They forgot my order and the breakfast burrito was just a tiny microwaved burrito. They didn’t even bother to take it out of the packaging. Also, who sells breakfast burritos without any tapatio of some sort? All they had was sirracha… Will never come here again

I absolutely love going to Café Abir. I just go there almost every day to have some work done in my computer, they have the wifi. People are nice. I always take a soy matcha latte and a soy latte. I have being tasting a lot of coffee around SF, this is my favorite so far !

Love Café Abir for a quick dirty chai, aka, Edward Norton… which costs $ 4.20. Im pretty sure its just in my head but the drink does taste a lot like 420. The ambience is also relaxed and its a great place to get some work done with ample seating and outlets.

Great, chill spot with comfy seating, friendly vibe, and good wifi. Places like this are dropping like flies in SF unfortunately.

Since the Mill didn’t have any spots that morning, came here for a morning coffee with a friend. Milk for the coffee was expired, burritos looked and tasted as microwaved(after a bite we couldn’t eat any more of it), reg coffee was below average. The only good thing was free wifi and outdoor sitting, but that’s almost every other place on Divis. Not impressed and not coming back! Oh and they are cash only on top of it all :/

The place I wanted to go was super busy and I decided to try the next door coffee place — Abir café. I would not give even a star. That place is really bad. Expired cream for coffee, bad service, cash only, bad food and no napkins even :(disappointing … I’ll just wait in line next time instead of having bad coffee which made my morning even worse.

Went in on this wonderful Friday afternoon for a cappuccino to satiate my desire for foamy milk and stimulating espresso. I ordered my drink with a friendly enough man behind the counter, however when my cappuccino arrived at the bar, I was shocked to see what looked like a cup of milk. Being an optimist, I took the cup and left. This was probably the worst«cappuccino» I have ever had. If you are going to call yourself a rise roast plant, then at least make sure your staff know how to make a cappuccino.

Yet another café on Divisadero, just in case there wasn’t enough. Cleaner, bigger, some TVs, and they have beer on tap. $ 2.50 for a pint during happy hour, but they only have speakeasy IPA and trumer pilsner. They also have free wifi. Pretty average place.

Not a bad spot at all; unsure why all the negative reviews? The coffee is decent(not strong enough for my caffeine addiction), the staff was really friendly and chill(Gaddy + Mario), and the food options were plentiful. There is plenty of seating, outlets along the wall, fast Wi-Fi, uncrowded space, tables for bigger groups, and a neat wine/sake bar with a good HH to boot. Interestingly, the café is attached to a restaurant next door; which is a pretty neat layout. Never seen anything like it before. I had a great stay; enjoyed my coffee, got work done, had interesting conversation with some strangers– who ended up inviting me to their grand opening for their bar in the mission. Cool beans. PS. CASHONLY!!!

Whenever I go on vacation here it always look for really nice cafés or coffee shops, and this by far is my favorite one I have visited since I started coming to this beautiful city. It has an amazing atmosphere, looks beautiful inside, and the staff is extremely friendly. It’s somewhere you just feel welcome at the second you step in. Definitely coming here from now on!

When I walked into this café, I fell in love with the culture and atmosphere of the customers, customer service, food, and drinks. Overall loved this place! They have both indoor and outdoor seating. There is bar seating and typical coffee shop type seating as well in the inside. The bar is filled with a huge selection if wines :) they also have beer in bottles and on tap. They also have a bar attached to it open in the back specific drinking hours. They sell vegan cookies and snacks. Try the peppermint chocolate chip cookie, to die for! They also had typical café foods that go with coffee like coffee cake. They have empanadas and tons of food selections to granola with yogurt. They also have an assortment of teas and specialty drinks. I ordered vanilla bean, and smelt like vanilla. My friend came with me here one time and stayed to use their free wifi while I got a tattoo.

I really like the atmosphere of this place and the workers are nice enough. Also it had wifi, some nice music and seems like a nice place to study as well. While all this is great the four or five times I’ve come here before the food didn’t really blow me away and the coffee I had ranged from just OK to nice. The machiato, latte and cappuccino I had were not bad but not the best I’ve had. But I do like the atmosphere(and the house coffee is good) and will totally come back. Plus, who knows, after having drinks from some different barristas will probably change my review from three to four stars.

If there’s a café in this city that once was pretty good but has methodically done everything possible to ruin itself, this is it. Lousy coffee. Layout is awkward. Every remodel it gets worse. Indifferent service. Crummy wi-fi. Used to be a very cool place.

Something about the down to earth and low key atmosphere to this café, bar, wine and sake place, really intrigued me. The charismatic cashier/barista was kind enough to save me a cup of coffee while I went to get cash out from a bank that one Saturday afternoon. Thank you for giving me the benefit of the doubt and awaiting my return. It was a worthy trip back to this café. I was lingering for a good 2 hours here — just enjoying the quaintness and mixed theme that this café shop exudes while sipping on my coffee. I really like how this corner café shop doesn’t crave for attention, but very modest. It is a corner gem. I just wish it is tucked more away in an alley, so it’ll be a great hideaway café that serves up a good variety of sake and wine to choose from. If it was like that, I would be here starting from day to night!

I’m usually at Abir out of necessity, and that’s fine with me. They have a decent happy hour as well as regular coffee/tea service, and if you’re hankering for food they have café offerings, or you can head next door to Tsunami. Abir has a strange vibe — lots of different people from all different walks of life, converging in this one spot. Not the best place to get work done without headphones, but a great place to kick back, have a beer and people watch.

Smooth operator. Build your own bagel delicious breakfast. Spinach bagel, eggs, tomato, lettuce and jam. Less than $ 5. Ready in less than 5. Ready to go sandwiches for lunch. Loyal readers know how much I dislike this option. Unless some just have turkey, mustard, tomato and lettuce. Ready. Set. Go. Just leave room for a smoothie. Multiple options include the Blue Lady. Blueberries, milk, banana and honey. What a great lady. Coffee and space remain king. Supporting acts give you a reason to stick around.

I’m not completely sure what to make of this place! Do I love it or hate it? The location was convenient. I was visiting a couple of friends in Western Addition that lived a block away in opposite directions. The interior: couches and bunch of them, 70’s style tall tables and chairs, and unusually high velvety booth setting that must have been handed down from the clubhouse of the old San Francisco Warriors basketball team. The crew: baristas stood around, disinterested, carrying on conversations amongst themselves, gazing at eclectic characters this café seems to attract, rather than noticing that I was waiting patiently to order a drink. Annoying! Amenities: there is free WiFi here and plenty of electrical outlets below or beside the couches, to accommodate enough people who like to bring their laptops to get some work done or surf the web while enjoying a hot beverage. And speaking of hot beverages, the hot apple cider here is the hottest and tastiest cup of cider I think I’ve ever had! But, then again, they fill it in a glass that is too hot to pick up once it’s poured! I am definitely not a fan of this place… but still. Maybe I’ll come back for the hot apple cider. :|
