Came here on a weekend visit to SF. This place is a bagel store + bicycle shop. Apart from the fact that they were out of most bagels, everything was delicious.

The bike shop guys are the best. As other reviewers have said, honest, speedy, reliable, knowledgable, and friendly. I trust them with my bike and am glad I’ve found a great local bike shop.

Great, honest bike mechanics. Family friendly, super patient and reasonable pricing. Ryan, was super fast and didnt blow off my kids minor repairs. Plus you can have a meal and drinks while you wait. The staff are great and friendly. We’ll be back, even just for the café.

a friend took me here for lunch when i was visiting the city, and it did not disappoint. pretty funny set up, maybe trying to be too hip with the bicycle repair part of the place, but the food is actually really good. I got the bird sandwich, and i can honestly say its one of the best chicken sandwiches ive ever had. great lunch spot.

I went in to ask if they assemble bikes that I ordered online. The guy’s first reaction was: «you ordered cheap bikes on Amazon? You’ll pay the price difference for assembly» — without even knowing how much we paid for the bikes. He then kept saying how bad our bikes was, still without knowing which models I purchased and for how much. When I told him about the $ 500 price tag on my bike from the SF-based Public Bikes company, he said that I should have bought the $ 700 model instead. Really? For biking once a month for an hour? Come-on… You guys should be better that this. There isn’t just pro-bikers out there. For sure, I’ll never return…

I was really disappointed after coming here for lunch today. We stood in line waiting for someone to try a couple of beers, and then the man behind the counter completely skipped me and asked the person behind me if they could help them. It was really bizarre and he took my order only when I said something. I ordered an iced coffee and the bird sandwich to-go. They immediately poured the iced coffee with maybe three ice cubes and didn’t put it in a to-go cup. So I had to ask them to fix this and again was ignored for a while. As they are doing that, I see them go to the back to get all the ingredients for my sandwich. Again, they didn’t put this as a to-go item. Once I sat down to eat this, it was the most bland sandwich ever. I don’t know how you mess up a chicken, avocado, and cheese sandwich, but it was not good. And the side salad was really tiny as well. Overall, really weird experience and would skip this for other great food on divis.

Whenever I’m visiting San Francisco I find myself at Mojo Bicycle Café at some point. Typically I’m in the area to attend/work a show at the Independent right across the street or staying up the street at The Metro. Although the menu is pretty limited I still enjoy grabbing the Bello Pesto sandwich and they have many craft beers to choose from on tap. They have outside seating and it’s a great place to relax with friends over a cold one. I’ve always received great service from staff and bartenders. Kept the review simple like this great little place. 4.0 — Will be back when in San Francisco.

A glorified bar with espresso and tea; not a café. Perhaps this is a nice place to stop for beers with your friends rather than a dingy bar, but I don’t really see it being much more than that. It has a small food selection available, but nothing too exciting. I ordered a cheese plate, and was supremely disappointed to find it was just a small round of brie and bread. When I order a cheese plate, I’m expecting a variety of cheeses, or at least a description of which cheese if there’s only one. The service was okay. It didn’t take terribly long for anything to come out, but there was no smile and the barista seemed uninterested in helping customers who clearly weren’t familiar with the place, but warmed up with consistent politeness from me. There is also no outlets and no wifi; furthering the feeling that it’s not a café. They’re cash only which is odd for a place that seems trendy; luckily I usually have cash on me. Music is too loud to get work/studying done and almost overshadows quiet conversations. It was pretty dead when I came in(8pm on a Saturday night), but if it ever does get busy it must get terribly loud. They do have nice lighting and a nice parklet. If you just want a pint with some friends(preferable who already know the place), stop in. Otherwise, there are other actual cafes nearby who aren’t quite so niche. I’m still giving three stars because I think it would be a okay-good place to go when trying to get a beer/catch up with some friends.

This place looks nice and food was ok, but they do not have WIFI :( While I wasn’t sitting there some table behind me spelt a glass of water and no one came the clean it while I was there more than 30 min, the water apparently flow on the floor and my bag was all wet!!!

I love this place. I was working in the city with one of my coworkers at an indoor triathlon event when he mentioned grabbing a pitcher at Mojo Café. Who would say no? We stroll in and grab ourselves a pitcher(yes, it’s cash only. I know they should do cards… Buuuut, I’m over it. Banks are remote as well) This place is a bike shop and a café. Seeing how cycling is what got me out to San Francisco, I spent some time geeking out on what they had. An absolutely stellar shop, equipped properly and with folks who have the know-how. From what I hear, they won’t work on burning man bikes, I don’t blame them. The liability that follows with one of those is insane.(Toy bikes with steel rims? If they’re out of true, you’re out of luck. Not to mention they have zero stopping power. Be safe and get a solid bike to abuse, it’ll last you much longer) The café portion is killer. My friend and I had a pitcher and a window seat. Locals rolled through and were incredibly friendly. And then we had another pitcher. Some brats. Another pitcher. We were basically friends with everyone at this point. After our outing, we barely made a dent in our bank accounts for the three pitchers and brats we ordered. There were no extensive wait times, and the atmosphere was awesome. So if you want to spend a Saturday/Sunday/…any day here and throw back some pitchers with your pal and make new friends, I would say Mojo is the play you should go!

Is it a bar or is it a bike shop? Even if you don’t want to get anything to eat or drink I highly recommend checking out Mojo simply because it is awesome. Also the sausage is very, very good. A little oily but on a baguette which was different in a yummy way.

Mojo is a great little neighborhood café, attached to a bike shop. Coffee, good beer, sandwiches, salads, and really delicious popup dinners(currently two nights a week). Super friendly with a couple of narrow communal tables with stools inside and a few small tables out front. Have tried the Marocain sandwich which was delicious, light and fresh flavors. Also the shaking beef from their current Rice Paper Scissors Thursday night popup, really good! Can’t wait to go back and try the wonton soup from that menu though, it seems like the crowd favorite. They also have Thai iced tea!

I love this place on a Thursday or Friday night! Good beer, good company. Some nights it feels like I’m at a house party(in a good, reminiscent way) and others it’s very chill. Of course, bring cash as it’s cash only! But they have a cash register in the back if you need it.

This place has no room for its customers. No wifi, no decaf, no outlets, no cards. Not a very good study area at all(yet some people were still attempting to). I’d recommend them moving the bikes elsewhere and expanding the dining area. For customers, I think it might be a nice place to get a drink and just chat. Just don’t come thinking you’ll get some work done. Don’t forget Ca$h!!!

Came here with a buddy of mine for a quick drink to catch up on good times. I ordered the Chai tea latte, which was smaller than I expected but it was good nonetheless. At first, it looks like a garage of sort, but once you walk down into Mojo Bicycle Café, you’ll find yourself a few seats and a bike shop in the back. Quite typical of San Francisco these days. I’ll most definitely swing by for another drink when I’m in the neighborhood. Chai tea latte

Part bicycle shop, part café/bar, Mojo is a pretty unique business with a loyal crowd. Like me. Mojo is one of my go-to relaxed evening beer hangout spots. Prices aren’t bad, ambience is enjoyable(chill, not too loud, no TV), and seating for whatever the weather(warm interior seating for cool evenings but also some outdoor seating for warm days). Hours are longer than before, although still not past midnight(fine with me – I’m too old to stay up past 12!). They started serving craft beers on tap(including various IPAs and the Fort Point red ale – for all you FP fans) last year but still have their non-alcoholic offerings as well. Wasn’t super thrilled with the Thai iced tea I got there in the past(too watery), but I usually come for the beer anyways. See you soon, Mojo.

I’m reviewing the bike shop. I love these guys. I live in the neighborhood, and these guys are always friendly and helpful, and able to pitch in to solve your problem fast in a pinch. They’ve rebuilt damaged wheels. Tuned up things as needed over the years. Last week, I brought in a bike I bought on the Internet(a Motobecane Gran Premio). It’s a perfectly nice steel frame bike with 105 components on it. I put it together myself when I got it about 6 months ago, and I brought it in for a little tune up because it was a little finicky. The guys convinced me to go with a major tune up– new, better chain. New cables and housings. And rebuilt the bike basically. They told me that it would ride like a completely different, better bike when it was done. It does and it was totally worth it. I really trust these guys as practical, fair, reasonably priced, and able to pitch you the level of service you need– nothing extra unless you want it.

I would have rated Mojo 5 stars if they had had any of the beer listed on their menu board in house. My first choice was out, my bf’s first choice was out, and my best friend’s first and second choices were out. None of the beers we wanted were the same either… that’s at least 4 beers they were out of that were not crossed out on the menu board. Lame. The bartender was not especially nice either. Good thing the ambiance made up for it! We loved the warm interior, kitschy twinkle lights and soft lighting. Noise level was quiet, and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We would most likely go back — in hopes of our beer choices being available. Hoping I can write an improved update for Mojo next time around!

This place was right by where we were staying and looked appetizing for days. Finally we pulled the trigger and went here early in the morning after a walk and it did not disappoint. They have great coffee from Ritual Roasters and delicious breakfast bagels. You can add extra ingredients to the eggs, avocado, and cheese that normally come with it — I chose sausage. I thought this place was a wonderful spot to just sit outside, eat, and drink coffee while watching and listening to people around you. The vibe is really relaxed and a great start to any morning. I really need to come back and try their lunch offerings though!

Really cute café with a bike store in the back. Coffees are fabulous with good amounts of coffee flavor. Wifi available and I love the high wooden bench tables. Friendly staff. Definitely would come back. They also have outdoor seating which is great for sunny days :)

So I just started this thing called Coffee Meets Bagel and saw this place serves bagels for breakfast so I thought it be a fun place to meet my «bagel» here. I waited for 40 minutes. No show. No text saying she’d be late… no response. So while I was waiting I looked over the entire menu, observed the folks casually enjoying their morning brews in the parklet seating area, and checked out some of the small details of the shop. This place is like the perfect combination of things: bike shop, coffee shop, good food, and even beer with a happy hour! Can this place be more hipster than that?! Anyway, I chalked up the date as a loss and ordered myself a breakfast bagel to go and went home. The bagel hit the spot and I’m glad that I at least got to enjoy some kind of bagel! I shall return! Hopefully I’ll have a more successful bagel and check out the little garden in the back. Oh! And don’t forget that the café is cash only.
