Was really close to going else where, but ended up choosing them. Glad I did and would absolutely recommend them to everyone! I was in great care and was in and out before I even knew it thanks to Dr. Chung! See review for Dr. T Chung Also, manymanymany thanks to the patient receptionist who answered my millions of repetitive questions !

This is a review of this Group’s office staff, not Dr. Sternberg, who was great. #1: They tried to charge me over $ 200 for my initial visit, even though my health insurance card clearly stated I owed only a $ 25 co-payment. They told me that was SOP and I’d be re-imbursed. I refused and got into a fight with the billing person. 2-weeks later they were paid by my insurance as promised. Idiots. #2: Called to schedule a lipoma removal in his office, per Dr. Sternberg, since it was so small. 2-weeks later, the day OF the outpatient surgery, his assistant calls to say that *I* mis-scheduled and it would have to be re-scheduled to be done by him in a hospital. She repeatedly told me that it says«right here in his notes that he advised you it would need to be done in a hospital»(see below for more on this…) We argued about: a) why the scheduler or SOMEONE didn’t catch this problem over the course of the last 2-weeks before I re-scheduled my whole day and took time off b) whether it was my fault for misunderstanding the doctor c) that she couldn’t transfer me to a ‘scheduler’ to make a new appointment because they were«all busy today, all day»(???) d) that if I wanted to have my files sent to me to take my business elsewhere, I could leave a message, but the Office Manager was on vacation through the following week so she wouldn’t be able to get to it until she was back e) whether I was going to pay $ 25 for my files to be sent to me, which I didn’t think I should have to since they were not giving me any choice but to leave. I asked repeatedly to talk to someone else and she finally let me and they promptly faxed me my records at no cost, and when I did get them, NO where in his notes did he say I’d have to have the removal done in a hospital, so the f*cking cow was LYING. Someone in his office basically effed up and was pinning it on ME– the paying patient. The inmates are running the asylum here. Too bad for the doctors, because I bet they don’t have a clue.
