I give this subway four stars because the ladies that work here are sweethearts despite having to deal with a lot people who may or may not be customers who are either homeless or drug addicts, sometimes both. They always honor my subway app coupons. They are very pleasant and very professional despite the kinds of people that come in and try to get free drinks or just hang out at the tables. I come here several times a week. My favorite sandwiches here are the veggie delight, the Italian bmt and the spicy Italian. It’s a great place to eat for those on a budget. You can’t beat their six dollar meal deal with the sandwich, drink for $ 6.

The one fast food restaurant in the Loin now that McD’s is gone. Service is quick. I ordered the sweet onion chicken sandwich. Not much chicken for some reason. The server laid the sauce too much because my bread was soggy. One piece of chicken was surprisingly hard. Would only come here if I’m desperate.

I ordered the steak and egg breakfast sandwich this morning. I asked for the egg on the side and requested extra meat because they placed one tiny container on a 12″. The lady said no, eat the egg. I said, I don’t want it for free, I’m going to pay for it. «Eat the egg, no meat». Meanwhile, a guy walks in with a plastic container, purchases nothing and fills up at the soda machine: freeeeee! :0 According to my fiancé, the eggs taste powdered. I will post a picture of my steak and eggs minus the steak and eggs!!! 2* for fresh bread/veggies, that’s it. Let me tell you how God works! This was going to be my only meal for about 6 hours. I went back up to pay for a 6″ ham just for more veggies and 3−5am of lean ham. The gentleman in front of me offered to purchase the sand which for me. Thank you God and thank you sir for your generosity. The lady wasn’t too happy, but I didn’t argue or give attitude. I took everything off of the foot long flat bread and placed it on the warm 6″ and enjoyed my breakfast.

Sometimes you get stuck eating Subway. Went for a chopped turkey salad. The nice guy behind the counter chopped this salad until it was mulch. He practically juiced it. It looked like the stuff that comes out of my juicer. I had to drain it. Subway is depressing to begin with but sometimes traveling to weird places or at odd hours I end up going there for this salad. Sadly, this location really has no skillz.

Subway is subway. Come here for a quick sandwhich that is fairly decent and not too pricy. Never going to blow you away but generally doesn’t disappoint either.

Food is OK, but service is terrible. Sometimes they charge for a cup of water with your meal, and sometimes they’ll give it for free(As it should be). They leave coupons at my school around the corner, but then they constantly refuse to accept their own coupons. Really annoying. Pass on this place, there are plenty of other inexpensive options in the area.

This is your standard Subway chain. There are plenty in the TL/Civic Center area but this one is really close to Hastings so I’ve been here plenty of times. It’s just one of those places you resort to when you only want to spend $ 2.50 to split a footlong with a friend and Saigon Sandwich is closed. I actually have personal hatred toward Subway, especially this one, because it only reminds me of the days where I’m in the law library from 8AM until 11PM during finals season and my friend and I would come here out of sheer desperation/sake of convenience and order sandwiches to-go so we could eat them while studying. I feel like one should always be aware of the beggars in the TL, but there always seems to be someone standing outside the subway asking someone for their sandwich.

Correction: Their posted hours are Monday — Friday 6 am to 10 pm, Saturday & Sunday 8 am to 10 pm. The photos nearly made this place look like a late-night Japanese ramen street vendor stall. So you know I had to check it out while I was around on some errands. Though my server didn’t smile or anything, he was quick with the sandwich and polite. It’s a no-nonsense atmosphere at this location near all the big buildings and the law school. No 90-second pizzas, but they did have avocado, which I don’t recall seeing everywhere else. An honorary 4th star is for the UB40 that played during my breakfast.

When I am low on funds, I order a sandwich to go from here and it’s usually the $ 5.00 footlong special of the month and two cookies(oatmeal and chocolate chip). I do miss the raspberry cheesecake cookies… they were delicious. The only disappointment I have had with this subway was the $ 5.00 footlong special of the month for last month — the bbq pulled pork sandwich. I asked for a squirt of mayo and a squirt of mustard, was told by the sandwich makers that those condiments were not included in the sandwich and then they proceeded to squirt more bbq sauce. They sure did not hesitate to put the shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, red onions and green bell pepper rings when I wanted those items… wassup with that. I would think the lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and green bell pepper rings would cost more than the squirts of the mayo and mustard… sheesh.

Um… its a subway. Chances are, you’ve been to one. Their bread has HFCS and«whole wheat» isn’t whole at all. The meats are going to kill you too, btw, from all the preservatives. I eat there like 3x a week. I’m such a hypocrite. Like that time I was vegan and now I slam bacon likes it’s 1999. It happens.

Another subways, yay! Well not really anything to be excited over but this place is different from ones i’ve been to nd remember; this place has buffalo sauce as one of their sauce options :] A plus for this place. I don’t remember when i first came but it was probably because i was closer to this place than tha polk one nd maybe i wanted to come here just to see nd try it out but i am glad i did. This place is clean nd looks nice from tha outside. The workers are nice as usual. . I like to come here when i want an extra something on my buffalo chicken sandwich or any other sandwich nd that’s tha buffalo sauce :] I also come here when i’m closer than Polk.

sadly this subway has turned into what most subways inevitably turn into. yes the downturn was much more degressive than most. but the change has happened. the nice workers have become yellers, i. e, they dont ask you what you want the yell at you. the door has to stay open because the lines are longer than the store is. this makes half of the store unsuitable for seating because the store becomes 50% antarctica. the ingredients have become typical antithetic subway slogan slop(not fresh). they were also out of bacon. on the second day of $ 5 footlong month. deprive me of my hog and you will lose a star. just sayin’ sigh…i remember the good days. thats what will keep me coming back. well… that and the $ 5 footlongs… yea mostly the $ 5 footlongs.

Efficiency is improving. Four workers at rush today. Tomatoes still not up to snuff, but the SPINACH remains both available and crispy. Clientele not as sketch as 8th& Market, but there’s still the line-out-the-door factor.
