I love to come here for their siu mai, chives dumplings and fried chicken. The egg rolls and other dim sum and snacks are decent too.

Typical Dim Sum place. Fast Service. Nice People. They also serve Banh Mi and other stuff. Haven’t tried it but I probably will go back and try it.

Ordered the trays in advance and called in to see if it was ready, and was extremely pleased. The place is small and the long is log, but these workers are on top of their game. Really enjoyed the food.

I’ve been going to this place for many years now since the place was old and dirty till spanking new and clean now. The foods here are just good enough. I love how all of them are made fresh and kept warm. The roasted pig though has its day, some days if we get lucky we will bag the best piece of pig’s neck(that’s is the best part right there, not too much fat and not too much meat) Overall this place has pretty much all things from dimsum to chowmein for lunch and party trays, even smoothie: p

So… the egg rolls didn’t suck… they weren’t great, but they were okay and so was the sauce. That said everything else lacked a crucial factor… flavor. Wow, just wow. The beef and broccoli was gamey and was just well… sad. The kung pao chicken and the fried rice just tasted greasy and well… thats it. I’ve never seen won ton soup with cilantro which was different, but the broth was half decent. The wontons were as bad as the beef and chicken. The only reason I gave it the second star was because of the portions, which are generous, but what good is generous when the food sucks.

FOOD: King Egg Roll will satisfy your royal cravings like the King you are. Egg rolls, deep fried shui mai, deep fried crab, fried rice, and other unhealthy but oh so tasty Chinese food you might desire. I know King Egg Roll for their party trays at many events because it’s so easy to call ahead, place an order, and come by to pick it up without having to slave away in the kitchen cooking up something to bring to a party. Their trays are always a hit at parties and before you know it the tray is empty. Trays start at around $ 24.95 depending what you order. INSIDE: Is small. If you ordered to go then go to the left counter to the left of the big rice containers and tell someone your name you gave over the phone. Then they’ll usually tell you to go pay to the right as they hand the cashier your receipt. Other people on the right are ordering cafeteria style. OVERALL: tastes good, what can I say. Pricing is decent too. Food is ready fast. Probably not the healthiest food for you, but it is what it is for fast food Chinese food. Wish inside was bigger because when the lines get long it’s claustrophobic and people standing right next to the tables where people are sitting down and eating. Parking lot is shared with 7-Eleven and liquor store and Little Caesar’s in the same little shopping center. It can get busy, but typically people come in and out so you’re bound to get a spot after someone leaves.

Ahhh! I love coming here. Good place to get dim sum to-go. Like just grub after a morning of hiking at Alum Rock and then sit there in food coma happiness. Just remember that it is cash only, I think all of the businesses in this complex are.

Egg rolls are the best, and just for this one item, this place deserves a five! I have tried many other dishes as well, from the Banh mi, to dim sum, to fried shrimp balls and fried chicken. Nothing except for the egg rolls are too worth a visit. One time I brought these to a party and my cousin told me secretly that the egg rolls I brought were the best out of all other dishes. And yes it was so obvious, only the egg roll plate was empty.

Everyone’s gotta love KE’s fast food because well, it’s fast. The greasy food, the flavors of the seasoning, it’s all yummy. The food here is the basic chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken, egg rolls, shrimp balls, etc etc. The only downside to this place is that seating is very limited. The place is small. It’s crowded. When it’s busy, the line wraps around all the tables and if you plan to sit at the tables it’s a bit awkward because everyone’s staring at you. So the best thing to do is order to-go and sit in your car and eat or go elsewhere to eat. Overall, food is good and quick.

Been coming down here for the past four years and loved their egg rolls along with the vegetable fried rice and chow mien. Their prices are cheap and reasonable and remember they only take cash!!!

Love King egg rolls. When I lived out of state I use to freeze fresh egg rolls and drive several states with them in an cooler. The wings are the bomb and the shrimp balls can’t be beat! Now that I’ve moved back to California I drive from Sacramento to get here. Worth the drive.

This King will never be de-throaned! NEVER!!! I drive from San Francisco just to get the egg rolls here! They are that freaking good! If you are a nerd and want to be cool at a party, you show your ass up with party tray of King Egg Rolls and I promise you that you are getting laid. I prefer this location over Story Road too. Two reasons…1. Parking wayyyyy easier. 2. Less Eastside drivers if you know what I mean. ;) ;) Bottom line is this, If I could get away with it, I’d wear these egg rolls socially!

E-G-G-R-O-L-L-S!!! Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with hot sweats thinking about king egg rolls egg rolls! All i have ever had from here is their egg rolls but I can’t imagine them having anything that’s better. If your curious how good they are, let’s just say I had no problem waiting 2 hours to get a 30pc tray on super bowl Sunday. Try them out and thank me later!

My 3rd time at this location and the food and service were consistent. Good food, good service and good prices. I typically get their Xiu Mai, Shrimp dumplings and eggrolls. I asked about ordering a party tray for Super Bowl Sunday, which according to their signs and special hours… is also when Chinese New Year celebrations may be happening. They were patient with my questions, courteous and honest. They said I was welcome to order a party tray but to be aware that that day will be «crazy» and I should be prepared to wait for my order. I appreciated the heads up. I really like this place. If I lived closer, I would go more often. As others have indicated, they take cash only and have an ATM machine for those first timers who didn’t bring cash.

Have never walked out of here without spending at least $ 30. Have to have the egg rolls, fried xiu mai, bbq pork banh mi, shrimp balls, pork and shrimp summer rolls, and beef and shrimp vermicelli to-go boxes. Dim sum is also quite good in the morning. This place is a San Jose tradition and generations of us have grown up knowing the distinct thrill of seeing one of their egg roll trays at a bbq, graduation party, potluck, etc. Long live the King(Egg Roll).

I am seriously annoyed with you King Eggroll. You have no signs saying that you were a cash only business. You insisted that I pay for my party tray order of eggrolls with CASH! No signs. No warning over the phone. You told me to go to ATM machine to get cash from my credit card. Unfrigging believable. You get a three star because your food is good, but your customer service and how you run your business is not customer friendly. Not everyone carries cash in their pocket. Luckily enough I had a enough to cover it. Seriously inconvenient.

BEST… PLACE… EVER. Really, you can NOTGOWRONGHERE! You can get anything and be happy. I recommend a Bahn Mi Sandwich followed by at least one Egg Roll, followed by at least a Chicken Wing. Throw in a Shrimp Ball! You will be so happy! Apparently you have to pay with cash. Okay, bring Cash!

I love egg rolls and could eat them everyday. Not many places have really good egg rolls. But King Egg Roll does! Crispy on the outside and not very greasy. Dip them in their sweet and sour sauce and you have the perfect snack. They sell other items too, standard Chinese food like fried rice, broccoli beef, sweet and sour pork, but the line of people out their door come for the egg rolls! Only downside to the place is they are cash only. They do have an atm there in case you don’t have cash on you. But the arm charges you a fee to use it.

We were heading down south and I was feeling like dim sum! I saw a fellow Unilocaler had checked-in here recently so thought I would try it out! The atmosphere — Chaos! Two lines going around this small restaurant, not sure which line is for what but we picked the shortest one which seemed to work. Ordered shu mai, shrimp balls, shrimp dumpling, pork buns, egg rolls, and some banana wonton. By the time we got to the cashier order was ready! There are about 6 – 8 tables in this place and all of them are usually taken by people waiting for food! We luckily found one we could actually eat at. The food was hot and fresh, it was better than I thought it would be, especially for«fast» dim sum. I really liked the shrimp dumplings, I could have had more of those! Service was ok, parking was easy, prices are cheap!

BESTEGGROLLS I HAVEEVERHAD. Got a 25 piece for $ 20 for a Christmas party. Everyone loved it! The egg roll is really big, and stuffed with shredded meat and fresh veggie. The skin is so crunchy, and it goes really well with the dipping sauce they give you. The flavor was unbeatable. I had some left over cold ones the following day, even though it was cold, it still tasted delicious. We also tried their fried shrimp balls, and it was SOGOOD as well. It’s like those dimsum shrimp balls(ha gao) but double fried. It has a very crunchy outside but juicy bouncy inside. Need to find a similar place in socal since I don’t come up here often :( NOTE: CASHONLY!

Tried the dim sum here and it was barely mediocre. The har gaw was tasteless. And the shumai had a strong mushroom smell and taste. The shark fin dumplings casing was very think. They ran out lf Hot sauce. And the three spring roll box was kept poorly. One spring roll was fresh the other had a hardened spring roll wrapper. The peanut sauce wasn’t tasty. I didn’t try the chinese food but I don’t expect to come back here.

I can only speak to certain items on the menu but I give this place 5 ‘s! I’ve been coming here for the past 15+ years for thanksgiving and Xmas only. I get party trays of eggrolls, fried chicken, and shrimpballs(for my nieces/nephews). Everything is made fresh to order. Everything is fried(YUM!). Everything is good. They offer a lot more as well. Tips for King Eggroll: –CASHONLY –Come early like before 10am –Be prepared to order. Don’t be that guy or girl –Be patient. Fresh food is worth the wait –Make a friend while you wait It wouldn’t be the holidays without this place. Happy holidays! Enjoi!

This place has been around for as long as I could remember. It still looks the same ever since I moved to Las Vegas. There is a reason why this business continues to thrive: really good Chinese food and affordability! They always have a line no matter what time of the day. They only accept cash. Cleanliness is not a priority for them. I would like to see them make the environment look more presentable. Btw, their shrimp balls and shui mai is amaaaaaaze! They were the reasons I went everyday for breakfast and lunch during my four day vacay in the bay.

EHHHHHHHH… parking is pretty easy! I’m a sucker for cheap, oily, filling food so I wanted to try this place out. But when I got there, I was deeply disappointed. It took me 5 – 10 minutes to even decide what I wanted to try. Nothing looked really appetizing to me. I got chow mein with Mongolian beef and broccoli beef for $ 6.50. Chow mein had chicken in it so that was a pleasant suprise, but the beef in both dishes were not good. Also, there’s soooo much carrot in the mongolian beef. I basically drowned the meal in hot sauce and ate it. Also, they don’t have a bathroom which gave it 2 stars instead of 3. I will not be coming back.

My second time coming here, my expectations wasn’t what I was expected. Sigh! The first time I came, around later after lunch. Business was moderately tolerable, wasn’t as crowded and food was available, and theres several bilinguals available who at least speaks English to help non-speaking Asians of a Chinese/Vietnamese decent. Overall experience that day was sofa king awesome! Now my second time coming, it was sooooooo terrible. Today as I write my review furiously. I felt like a second class citizen, probably worse, more like a peasant and not a customer. Feeling like that made me cringe so much that I probably won’t be back ever! The name lives up to its name, plenty of egg rolls, and no dumplings! Ugh… But they have fried dumplings, and thats something I dont want, I want steamed dumplings! Second of all, They have there labels all f — –k up! So I pointed to the beef broccoli that I wanted and said, «I want that Sweet & Sour Pork»… And she said, «Thats not sweet & sour pork, you want this one.» AS she pointed at the wrong one… And I’m like, «NO… I want the sweet & sour pork.» As I pointed at the beef broccoli, because the beef broccoli is what I wanted, and not the sweet & sour pork… OMG! After so much back and forth of this language barrier. I gave up… I just told her, «Never mind… Forget about it. Do You Have Steamed Dumplings.!?» And she said, «NO.» And I’m like, «Well, can you make some, I want 6.» And she’s like, «NO! We’re almost closing.» And I’m like, «REALLY! ok… Ugh! Just let me have 4 egg rolls instead then. This is ridiculous.» And she gave me a «WTF» Look… And me thinking out loud in my head, Im like, «B*itch please… Speak English, we’re in America. Or at least have some Bi-linguals available… Talking baby talk back and forth is so embarrassing to an adult on what I wanted…» Now question is, will I be back after I end this rant… Maybe, most likely just for their 89cents egg rolls… Which was bountiful that lives up to its Venue’s Name! I hope this are not left overs!
