So, it has a new management and a new brand name now(Lucky Chef). The first impression: prices are higher, portions are smaller, and food is meh… My beef and tomato lunch meal was really disgusting. Please make yourself a favour and do not order it. I’m very disappointed having no desire to give them a second chance. What a pity… The old Emerald Dragon was one of my favourite spot for quick Chinese food to-go. I put two stars instead of one just because their front desk stuff(the young man) was nice and friendly.

I am so dissatisfied with the new ownership of Emerald Dragon. The food was tasteless and I ordered a simple items. If you can screw up an item like lemon chicken and BBQ pork fried rice you should not be open. I have had better food and service at Panda express during a dinner rush. On top of that they have decided to raise the prices and say they did it because the food is better quality and taste better. I too like many people once they have tried to the new food, will be sad to see Emerald Dragon go. I have no intention of ever returning to this place, and would settle for a $ 5 pizza next door at Little Caesars if I ever get hungry in this shopping center.

This is my first Unilocal review but felt I needed to say something given how disappointing the experience way. I called to place my takeout and was told that they had just changed their name from Emerald Dragon this week(the truth is this is a completely new business with new ownership and new recipes). When I went to pay, the order that would normally by $ 30 was $ 40(ouch). The new food is awful, was chewy and just didn’t taste good. They also clearly are trying to keep costs down by taking little pieces of chicken and putting lots of breading on it. There was also a nice handful of fried something to make it look like there was more food in the container. After going to the restaurant at this location for 20+ years, I will never go back. Time to go cry into my pillow and figure out where to find a good Chinese restaurant.
