Terrible service, this young lady should not be in this industry if greeting a guest standing at the register with no one in line is too difficult.

Starbucks so what! Hot slightly burnt so-so coffee. So why do I buy it? Gift cards… bro. Last word… I’ve had worse.

The worst Starbucks in the bay area. The older asain Laides are out rite rude. No good morning, no smile… nothing. They talk to each other in thier language more than they try to talk to thier customers. Something needs to be done about their rude service.

After waking up for at 3:30 am Central time for a 5:30 flight to Las Vegas and then San Jose, I needed a coffee before heading to a client’s office. This Starbucks is conveniently located near the car rentals, so this worked perfectly. Didn’t have a long line — got my coffee quickly. A very decent airport Starbucks.

Nothing outstanding to say but I’m just glad that they accept gift cards even though it’s in the airport terminal. The Moon Cheese snacks were so bomb and was $ 4. It was made of all cheese!!! The lady recommended me the mango black tea. It’s lightly sweet and tastes like mango but it has a strength of black tea. Place was empty. Yahoo.

I have never seen a Starbucks with such an unmotivated, slow, inconsiderate, uncaring staff(see my opposite at airport Starbucks Fresno). Working at sloth speed, they didn’t care if they made us wait 30 minutes in line… a short line. I finally placed my order and the barista disappeared and I had to wait another 5. Considering this is an airport location with a captive audience, most passengers with limited time before or between flights, they should have been staffed and managed better. I bypassed Peet’s coffee for this and only moved forward faster as passengers in front of me gave up. Making it to my flight as we were boarding, I laughed as I heard two separate conversations in the jetway about the horrible slow service. Recommendations: 1) go to Peet’s Coffee 2) Starbucks corporate may wish to do some serious brand image repair as even the gate agents said they are the worst and that this is their«normal.»

I love that this Starbucks is near the Terminal were flying out of! Drink was made excellent and there’s a decent amount of seating area.

As a frequent traveler, I’ve had yet to find a Starbucks near the gate at an airport, so this one was a blessing. I’m not sure who served the people in the last reviews, but the employees that worked there were actually extremely attentive to our needs in terms of drinks. I typically get my card reloaded at every Starbucks I visit, but usually get told that they can’t do reloads or something like that. However, this specific Starbucks has no problem in reloading your card and taking your orders. After receiving my drinks, the barista asked if I needed a cup holder or napkins. I’d have to say that the employees aren’t too bad in terms of being kind and courteous, definitely a good place to get a pick-me-up before your flight.

So far this is one of the worst Starbucks I’ve been to so far. I typically see a long line here just because it is in a prime airport location. I stood in a short line this time and they accepted my Starbucks card which was a positive. I ordered a Chocolate Chip Frappachino and asked to add 2 extra shots of espresso. They were quite confused how to do that. There were at least 3 people behind the counter and finally they figured it out. After I got my drink it didn’t taste very strong at all. I was a bit rushed for my flight so I didn’t bother going back for another drink.

Prices are higher here compared to other Starbucks locations. but that’s expected given that it’s in an airport. Contrary to what some other reviewers said, service is friendly and pretty fast. Drink quality is also comparable to other locations. Overall no complaints except for the higher prices :(

Honestly, Starbucks should have its employees read the Five Languages of Apologies by Gary Chapman. On a Tuesday morning around 7:20, I got a bottle of water and a tall flat white before boarding my flight. I proceeded up scan my Starbucks app to pay for the transaction. Since there was insufficient fund on the card, I took out my visa to pay for the remainder. The barista then asked me if I would like to reload my card, I agreed to reload the card with 10 dollars. Then the register got stuck and he couldn’t back out of the transaction. So he called his manager on the phone, stating that he needed her assistance. The barista then gave my credit card back and said his manager is on her way and proceeded to help other customers. For the next 20 minutes, I waited in front of frozen cash register feeling awkward while other customers squeezed behind me. The staff went on like business as usual; with the barista occasionally giving me an uncomfortable glance, acknowledging that I was still standing there. At one point, his coworkers asked, «Did you tell her that a customer was waiting?» Finally, the manager came, cancelled the transaction, I paid for my drink and loaded the card. The barista tried to lighten the situation by asking me how I like my flat white. Honestly, at that point I was annoyed by the experience, whatever the drink tasted like felt unenjoyable. He said sorry about the wait as we completed the transaction. but I thought if my flight wasn’t delayed for ten minutes I wouldn’t have been able to wait. The apology felt so empty given that I’m not going to have those 20 minutes back.

2 stars only because the place looks fine. The service is not to warm . The product is not even close looking like the The advertising banners… So I assume that the advertisement is act of sales not more then that.

This place is a standard Starbucks. The service was fast, and got what I wanted. I usually order a tall caramel frap with no whip. The lady gave me my order and said with extra caramel. I didn’t ask for extra but it was fine. I prefer Starbucks over peets.

Terrible service. Starbucks isn’t usually known for being great but the one at the SJ Airport is terrible. The girl at the counter tried like 4 or 5 times to read my Starbucks card and it never worked. I think she broke it trying to use it so many times… literally, it split in half. My mom also thought their cream had gone bad because it was just left out and not cold at all. She tends to be the typical panicky soccer mom about these things… but she’s usually right

Airport Starbucks located on the right after you leave the horrendous security line. Crazy airport prices but it still taste like Starbucks. Barista was nice but it was definitely not a quick line. Luckily, the barista making my drink was pretty fast. Clean area, plenty of seating.

Oooh Starbucks! How convenient, right?! No. You remind me of the Verismo skit in SNL. I am just a table away and don’t lazily whisper my order in front of 25 other people waiting for their coffee. I am not AMORFA nor CHARCHAR! It’s just basic peppermint mocha. How can’t you say it audibly? You guys are at an airport, not a funeral home. We don’t have time for your slow and lazy shenanigans.

I wouldn’t normally review an airport Starbucks — usually I’m just thankful for predictable corporate coffee when I’m traveling. But 2 major fails here — very small food selection, and they weren’t accepting Starbucks cards OR scan-and-go purchases from their app. Pain in the butt. Fail!

As soon as I started traveling more for business, I have found myself more and more at Strabucks(not something I am particularly proud of). I wanted to try their Lime Cooler, so I ordered one and taste-wise it was pretty good, but the presentation was pretty disgusting. To give you an idea for flavor, the Lime cooler tastes like a mojito(sans alcohol). I happen to like mojitos, so I enjoyed that part. What I didn’t enjoy was the absolutely disgusting looking slice of lime they lodged in there. It was brown. I’m not sure if I learned something incorrectly in preschool, but I believe limes are supposed to be green. Granted, I would have been totally happy with my experience had they not felt they should put an old and gross lime slice into my drink, but after a few sips I was so grossed out that I had to throw it away. I know y’all are in an airport, but c’mon!

My favorite coffee joint… when it’s too early in the morning and in desperate need of some caffeine. Let’s be clear, not a quick fix, a horridly slow fix. They also don’t currently have a scanner for the SB app. Don’t call yourself a SB if you can’t even accept their own PRE-PAID form of payment! The only alternative she gave me was to read out the 16(?) digit number to her for her to manually enter… which she made me re-read three times because apparently numbers are hard.
