I really like this place. Adam is cool, and he has great bartenders. The owners spiffed up the place a little and the whole staff are there to have a good time. The customers (drinkin’ buddies) are also way cool. They get behind the Warriors, Giants, A’s, Raiders, 49er’s and it’s a great place to watch your favorite game.

Awesome dive bar, definitely improved since the new management. Solid cocktails at cheap prices. Bartenders are really nice, really not much more you could ask for out of a local dive.

Really great place for drinks and a nice chat with locals. Atmosphere is warm and inviting and it seems like everyone is there to enjoy themselves and have a good time. Service was as good as it gets and owner is super friendly. Would recommend for weekdays or weekend nights.

Great time. Very friendly place. Went in late enjoyed myself. This was my first visit. I was told it was under new management… Midway through my visit i had the opportunity to meet the new owner Adam. Great guy. Asked how we were and bought us a round of drinks… He wanted to make sure we were good and seemed to genuinly care. I would highly recommend droping by. I will for sure be back.

If you’re looking for a bar with delicious drinks that won’t break the bank, Cunha’s has exactly what you need and more. The atmosphere is fun and inviting with music, a pool table, good company… I can’t ask for anything else! Since they’re open everyday, it’s the perfect place to hang out with a group of friends on the weekend or watch the Warriors game on a Monday night with a solid beer. I also met the new owner/​management and the bartenders — they are all very friendly and service is top-​notch. Definitely coming back!

Great bar. The new management put in a lot of updates. I love the VIP room in the back. Bartender are friendly and the drinks are well made. Would definitely come back. Can’t wait to see the Warriors take to another level.

First off Victoria was amazing in her customer service hours later the NEW owner showed up he i is legit they don’t treat you as clients but friends I love iT they do outstanding !

Met the owner who is super nice, inviting and friendly! Hi Adam! Bartender was energetic and made me wanna dance! DJ was playin’ great tunes from back in the day AND to top it all off: a well cocktail and a beer totaled $ 9! This is the first time I’ve ever paid for two drinks at such a low price. We’ve been living in the Bay just a lil over a month! We will be back! And to play some pool! ;)

Great place to drink, watch sports, and to socialize. The people who go are friendly and of course the bartenders are super great and beautiful.. The bar recently went through a remodel and it looks fantastic. Come on down if you dare to have a great time.

This place is a great lil dive bar. It’s Under new management and the new owners definitely are making strong improvements. I’ve been 3 time in the past 3 weeks and can’t wait to go again. They are expanding their top shelf and I couldn’t be happier. Milagro special reserve barrel get in my belly. Yummy yum yum.

New owner took over. Cool new vibe in the bar. Now they have draft beers and a pool table. Good place to go watch a game or grab a few drinks after work.

Not sure even what to say– they don’t even deserve the one star by default, we had arrived just before 11pm to have all the doors locked and a group of ppl inside –yet the bartender yelled at the door that they were closed. All the ppl inside just laughed and no one ever came to the door. There was nothing posted that it was closed to
The public due to a private party. Seemed sketchy, we will definitely Never return. Instead found a spot on Washington that was awesome and. Welcoming. The staff & regulars even came over and introduced themselves! They had music and a pool table, but more importantly good vibes! The Washington club will be out new spot, now that we are local to SL!

This place is all right for a neighborhood bar.
The locals, however, are a bit of a put off. I came in here a half dozen times within a couple of months, hoping that it’d get better and it really didn’t.
The service isn’t bad but isn’t great either. They have a giant projector screen and some small TVs around the bar.
Again, the locals never really seemed to friendly and/​or they were just strange cats… I don’t know, I really tried to like this place and I love a neighborhood/​dive bars but this place is between a 2 and 3 star joint but I’ll go with 3 since the servers never really did me wrong.

Part’s over, oops out of time. Someone had a bit too much. Time to move on.

I came here a couple times and its always drama! Bums come off the street and nobody acts like they are not there… NO SECURITY at all!
Bring your own toilet paper and sanitizer, you will need it. When you get a «new drink» they will use your same glass.
I wouldn’t bring my dog here for a glass of water…
If you like dirty glasses, a lot of DRAMA, noise, Fighting and alcoholics this is the place for you! Super DIVEY!

Love cunhas! Great atmosphere, great drinks and the music is always good! So many food spots nearby. Cunhas is a can’t miss!

Dive bar, ordered a washington apple and it tasted like shit, found a fly in it, then ordered a Sex on the beach which was too strong, soo strong it tasted nasty, bartender Victoria was nice & had a pretty face, customers were really old… absolutely NO eye candy in the bar.

Came on a Friday night around 10pm… all I can say is LOL. At least the jukebox has good music in it.
Drinks are pretty good, 1 of the bartenders was nice, 1 of them was rude… told her there was too much alcohol in my friends drink and she asked me if I wanted a pink lemonade and I wasn’t talking to her… rude! Bye, girl. Adiós was good, patron margarita was straight patron.

How I came about visiting Cunha’s Cocktails is quite odd and requires a long story of filled with family drama but I will spare the details. Actually I had been meaning to hit up Cunha’s on one of my trips to the Bay because my best friend DJ’s here on Saturday nights, so as the cards fell into place I ended up spending a Saturday night here.
It should also be added that my review is more for the vibe of the place, not the service or cost of drinks. Having less than 10 bucks in my pocket and needing enough money for BART to the Oakland Airport in the morning, I really couldn’t partake in the goods (although my friend did buy me a double shot of Jamison’s on the rocks… nice to calm the nerves).
Cunha’s definitely has that local crowd feeling, dare I say it, it’s a place where everyone knows your name. It kind of reminded me of O’Connel’s back in Long Beach, a vibe where there’s a mix of various personalities and characters… all with a bay area twist of people in San Francisco Giants and Oakland A’s paraphernalia.
I also find that it’s not too often you see live DJ’d music being played at what many would consider a «dive bar» (although it’s more of a mix of a dive and a sports bar). To actually see people spinning vinyl in a venue other than a «dance club», this makes me happy (believe me, I would be saying this regardless of my friend’s involvement here… I have a deep love and appreciation for vinyl). And it seems the patrons love the live DJ’d music too.
I plan on coming back here when I have a some cash to spend and watch my boy spin vinyl. Most definitely.

Its a total local dive bar but i loved it. Bartenders are super chill and make good drinks. way less money than most other bars and they have a DJ on Fri and Sat. People do dance and everyone is very respectful of each other. never seen a fight here once.
