This is the best little restaurant great food excellent service and reasonably prices it’s a must tryweekends the menudo is on point carnitas tacos to die for
Everyday breakfast menu has great specials pancakes waffles or french toast also Mexican style breakfast Nopales chorizo con Huevos or famos Chilaquiles with meat my favorite

Food is ok Had the super burrito. It is big. Took a long time to get our drinks and had to ask twice for eating utensils. Staff was friendly.

The food was great and so was the service. There were two misspellings on the menu but other than that the place was perfect.

I had a super burrito it was huge. Yummy… It was so good! First time here will def be back. They have big tvs come in handy for when the game is on and they say they serve breakfast all day so I’ll be back to try that. It was good thank you so much!

Been here 3 times had Chilaquiles nice portions, Carnitas really good and last a menudo geez huge! Bowl great for the hangover lol. Great staff very attentive and on point. Will be back again to try out the breakfast menu french toast or pancakes.

I so want this new place to survive in my ‘hood. Very good Mexican food and the most friendly staff anywhere. It’s also a great option for breakfast — whether it’s American breakfast or Mexican breakfast, they will take good care of you. I love that they are mostly family and all work together to try to make it a success. A lot of times, when there’s not a crowd, people shy away from a restaurant. But they just need a bit more word of mouth to draw people in. So trust me — try it, like it and share it!

Very clean place. Service was good. Food quality that I had was bland. Very disappointing for a place that got a 4 ½ star. Won’t be back to this establishment. My children got burritos a carne asada one which the meat was over cooked. The other was Pastor which was really fatty.

The carnitas is what’s happening here. Their specialty only available on Sat & Sun… and if you’re bold… get the skin to go along with it. The verde salsa is spicy… just like I like it!
I’m just waiting on them to get their liquor license, cerveza is what’s missing… hurry up San Leandro process the paperwork!

I was a bit skeptical at first, but this place is great. Their green salsa is super hot and tart in an amazing way if you like a lot of heat. The shrimp fajitas were great, as was the carne asada combo plate (with generous portions of meat). Everyone was really nice and friendly. Definitely going back for brunch to try the juevos rancheros.

I dont know how they got 5 stars. I stopped by to give them a try, i ordered a steak burrito. I clearly said light beans, rice, and no lettuce. When i recieved my burrito i paid and left home. When I take my first bite the burrito has lettuce alot of rice and alot of beans but hardly no meat. The waitress wrote on the ticket that I said light rice and beans and NO LETTUCE so clearly the cook doesnt know how to read a ticket. It was full so the cook had plenty of time to read the ticket cuz he wasnt rushing to move ordrs out. I give this place a thumbs and I wont be coming back. I dont recommend it at all!!!

This place had caught my ever since it was the Cherry Pit, but no customers then. We pass by every Sunday and today I thought we’d give it a try. I was thrown off my breakfast desire when to tortilla chips arrived but then I went ahead with bacon and eggs and a waffle it was pretty good my son had a super burrito and recommended that we get one for my husband. I still would like to go back for the chili Colorado but that will be another time. The place reminded me of good Mexican food, ambience and hospitality. I will be back soon.

I just went here last night with my husband. We usually head out farther from home for Mexican Food, but this was our first chance to stop in since they opened. We made it in a half hour before closing time.
It’s bright and clean, staff are super quick to get to you and super kind and tentative. I looked all over the menu and thought about new things to try, but I decided to just start with a carne asada burrito and go from there. I loved it, very fresh and the carne really stood out with a lot of flavor. The portion was huuuuuuuuuge, so I had leftovers.
I noticed a great breakfast menu and aim to come back one of these mornings and give that a go! I also plan to try something off their red snapper menu.

The BEST Huevos Rancheros in N. America (that includes The United States of Mexico, don’t forget). The «american» breakfast needs improvement, but that will come. There is a TV up on the wall but they have it turned down so you can speak in normal tones.

Good morning all, I just wanted to invite you to support newly opened Jorge’s. We stopped by this morning for breakfast. We were greeted and told to sit where we wanted. Menus were brought to us and after we ordered, chips and green tomatillo salsa was brought out.
I tried the menudo «chico» size and was wishing it was smaller. Tons of meat, no hominy, red soup was flavorful. They brought out a plate of onions, limes, oregano, and red peppers for additional flavor. Fresh tortillas accompanied the menudo. For my beverage I inquired about their agua fresca and ordered the strawberry agua. So delicious and light in sugar, I’ll just come back for the waters to go daily.
My husband ordered the standard eggs and chorizo. They came with refried pinto beans and topped with cheese. He ordered a cup of coffee and was delighted when they brought him a mug. No waiting for the coffee to finish before it was refilled. Fresh cream or mill was provided and the sugars, which aren’t needed, are already on the table.
Satisfied and ready for our next visit. Try it out and maybe this can be a positive neighborhood restaurant we have been waiting for.

My wife really wanted to take me to this new Mexican restaurant named Jorge’s this place was really nice close to my house and it was way better than (Dennys) food didn’t take that long was soo good I enjoyed some new foods that I never had before the resturant staff was really nice and at tentative to the customers and the place was really clean the owner was so nice to us thank you Jorge I’ll be posting pics
