Standard Sbucks but this location has a ton of room to spread out to either relax or do some work. I really like their outdoor seating area with either shade or a little sun. Either way there is always plenty of seating… another nice benefit is they have a clover machine and if you haven’t had coffee brewed this way you have not lived. Plus this location recently added beer and wine at night which is nice when you want to take advantage of all their open seating and relaxing atmosphere. The only thing I don’t overall enjoy is there sometimes very slow service in the mornings I have been here, but for the most part the employees are super friendly and make up for it with big smiles and friendly faces.

This is the closest Starbucks to work and I feel like i have giving it several chances to be good at best, but every time I do go, I always leave feeling frustrated. It is so, so slow. I would think that if there is a line of 10+ people, the manager would step in and help out. I see her walk around and never once jumped in to help. The people who are working as the cashiers are painfully slow. This is not the most friendly Starbucks either. I don’t feel like it is welcoming or that the staff could care less about how long the line is or how long people wait for their drinks/food. Very disappointing!

I’ve only been here a handful of times because I recently started working nearby. It gets super busy at times but they manage to get through the lines very quickly. I really enjoy the open space indoors and outdoors as well. Lots of seating available which is a plus, especially considering how busy this store gets. They do wine tasting which is very interesting and different. A few of the employees have been unfriendly during my few visits, but then again most were very friendly and welcoming, I guess that’s just the way it goes. This is one of my favorite locations.

Moscato? Yes, please! This place closes 9:30pm on Saturday, stops serving alcohol at 9pm. Moscato was really good, comes with some super salty sunflower seeds though. Overall, nice quaint place.

My only complaint is that they don’t honor the perks of having a Starbucks gold rewards card. What is the point of having one. They ask for your name and it’s on the card. They charge u extra for the flavor syrups(I believe that is supposed to be free) Just a thought to get that VIP rewards service honored in all starbucks. I have not seen this at this Starbucks, Target, Foster City Blvd, and the one in Burlingame on El Camino near the hospital.

This use to be a great place to go for coffee/tea. However, I have been noticed it has been going down hill for a while. Just thought it was a bump in the road but today was the final time for me. The cashier was so so rude to the gal in n front of me and then to me. Looking out in space, no communication, like a lump on a log and it was not busy at all. I almost cancelled my order. Was never asked if I wanted a receipt, your food will be right up, nothing just helped the person next in line. Drinks are good but same additude with the barista. So I will just take my business to the foster city location and will suggest to my coworkers to do the same.

How are you out of breakfast sandwiches at 10am? And last time I was here I ordered the spinach feta wrap, which was still cold and half frozen in the center. This Starbucks sucks.

Maybe it was an off day when I visited this Starbucks, nonetheless it could have been a better experience. The floor was grimy, long line, took quite some time for my drink order(ice green tea unsweetened) to be completed, overflowing trash, lack of napkins at the dispenser. While I was here, another customer was complaining about how his drink tasted off. To the credit of the barista, the drink was made again. Hopefully this was just an off day, if not, then it is a telltale sign that something is just not quite clicking here.

This is a super clean location. There’s a lot of space indoors and nice outdoor seating. The girl at the register was super friendly. Chain café’s like Starbucks keep the beverages pretty consistent so it was nothing out of the ordinary. Little note: Starbucks chai concentrate has dairy in the mix, so just be careful if you have dairy allergies. It’s very nice that Starbucks now offers coconut milk. Dear Starbucks, please start carrying vegan pastries :)

Went here to get a refill on my ice coffee. Was told harshly by the lady behind the counter that I can’t get a refill and need to purchase a new drink! WTH! No refill for a cup full of ice and a little coffee in it… Based on how much they charge for a cup of coffee, it should include some food! Customer service is bad here, too bad it’s corporate owned otherwise I think this location would close.

not open when they’re supposed to be. The rest of this is just filler so that this shows up as a review and not a «tip»

First, this standalone Starbucks at 2292 Bridgepointe is often confused with the smaller pop-up café inside Target. This location is the bigger one next to World Market with an outdoor patio. So you’ll have to just ignore all of the reviews here that mention Target. Wrong place, guys! This has become my daily filling station whenever I need coffee or cocoa. Though some of the baristas are here grinding away just to get a paycheck every week, most of them are uncommonly friendly. They’re the type who get to know you on a first name basis, even after only a few visits, and some of them accurately predict what you’re in the mood for. There aren’t that many Starstations with that personal touch, but this is one of ‘em. They’re also very accommodating when they run out of certain items or ingredients. The clientele here are varied, with almost no douchebags or hooligans. In fact, a good portion of them work at the Sony Playstation headquarters! Fun activities to try: If you want to eavesdrop about secret Playstation projects and games that haven’t been announced yet, sit in the middle of the café for reconnaissance, and collect information. If you like peoplewatching, there’s a constant influx of incredibly fit & attractive guys(and gals) who drop by for coffee, so this is the place for that too.

So I kind of love this Starbucks because it is super close to my house. 5 minute drive and I am in at this treasure trove of seclusion. Although this is in the middle of a shopping mall, this place can sometimes not be crazy full which gives you the opportunity to plug in and work. The staff here is also super nice. This place reminds me of cheers because they remember your name and your drink(like a boss). The place also does not run SUPER cold like other Starbucks. I would recommend to come here if you are looking to work. Lots of space, open until 9 pm and after you are done working you can walk across the street to catch a beer at BJ Brewery. Protip #1: Ask the person making your drink for soy because if you ask at the register they will charge you extra :( Protip #2: There are power outlets under the long table. Your welcome.

Very good fast service everyone was very professional and ready to help everyone that walked in. I will say I really enjoyed the service. Everyone was walking as a team and worked well together. Atmosphere was nice as soon as I walked in. I was amazed the line was not out the door like the Starbucks on Delaware which I went to first until I saw the line. But after watching them work together I instantly knew why the line was so short here, the workers were great on their toes here and focused on their tasks. My skinny vanilla latte was awesome thank you Starbucks

How time changes everything… I have to give one star because there is something that this starbucks is now doing that doesn’t sit well with me. I will stop in from time to time on my way to work, and usually there is a fairly decent line… A person from behind the counter starts taking orders and writing them on cups to give to the Barista… Here is the problem… they have people that they know that order the same item everyday and even though they are waaayyyy behind me in line there coffee comes out first… I have a problem with this… I end up waiting, and waiting, and waiting… I have to go to work also… Now I understand you have regulars, but why are the getting their coffee first when they came in 5 minutes after I did? It happened AGAIN this morning… Also I have noticed that the coffee bar(napkins, sugar etc) is always a mess… Did something change here??? Is this your new policy?

This review is based on one recent experience. Jump in line, which is probably normal for any Starbucks. I ask her about a question regarding a drink I am unfamiliar with, it was a yes or no question and she went into a long explanation and in the end I asked it again and she never did answer the question so I ended up ordering an Orange Mango smoothie. So what would you expect in an Orange Mango Smoothie??? Orange, yes, Mango yes, but why an entire banana? I don’t like banana in my smoothie. It isn’t on the menu as an orange, mango, banana smoothie. Ended up tossing it, yuck! Prices, well aren’t all the drinks here a bit pricey for what it is?

We went to the Starbucks on Bridgepointe Pkwy, San Mateo because we needed coffee after a hike. It’s next to Old Navy. Line was long when we went around 3:30pm, but it moved pretty quickly. We each got Caffe Mocha Tall $ 3.25, calories 270 because of the BOGO deal — you have to be on their email list. I liked it fine, B. thought it was too sweet. Separate bathrooms available in the back. Several inside or outside seating to relax.

I always thought every Starbucks was pretty much the same but only recently I discovered that actually they’re not. Chai from here just tastes better than my other local Starbucks, must be the Barista. It gets crazy busy, especially in the early mornings but I’m happy to wait it out here and get a really good Chai than a slightly quicker not so great one 2 minutes away. Staff are nice here too — really cheery and patient with me when I’m standing in line like a zombie staring at the floor or off into the distance daydreaming when they’re trying to get my attention to take my order. Oooops.
