The coolest place! I went in to buy riding boots for Groupon lessons I’ve put off and the owners are SO cool. The husband started working at the store for Jed as a teen and he and his wife has owned it for a long time. Jed was friends with Reagan, a great horseman, and his book on riding is on the desk/cashier. Smells yummy. Love everything about it. Est 1936. 109 including tax and I can wear them as walking boots in the city(Ariat). Love it. (You don’t have to ride to shop here: I don’t know about cowboy boots but Luchese, starting at 600, are simply works of art. Stunning all.)

Not what I remember. I used to go here for friendly service, high quality leather boots, and other horse/western related items when I was younger, so I thought of Jedlicka’s when wanting a high quality leather belt. Sadly disappointed. Maybe it was an off day but… Couldn’t tell who was staff and who was just shopping, and neither my husband or I was ever greeted or approached even though we were looking around, in need of help, for a good 10 – 15 minutes. The small selection of belts we did find were not at all quality.

My boyfriend and I were stranded in the area waiting for AAA, and decided to step into this store to kill some time. Neither of us are horse people, and would never have walked in otherwise, but we’re so glad we did. While there is a huge section filled with horse and horse-rider accessories, they also have products that would be of interest to pretty much anybody. We were both most impressed by their array of cowboy boots, in every size imaginable, even for toddlers. There were many original pairs made of high quality leather in Brazil or Spain. Every shoe is expertly made of the softest leather, and many with interesting embossed or stitched designs. If you have ever for a moment considered owning a pair of cowboy boots, I can’t recommend this store enough. Many pairs range into the hundreds of dollars, and the most ornate sell for a thousand or more. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable, but not at all overbearing. The store also has tons of weatherproof coats, quality toys for kids, cowboy hats, belt buckles, knives, wallets, clothing, other shoes and sandals, gifts for horse lovers of all ages, and of course riding gear. No cheap junk here.
