Mission Tuxedos

The tux worked out great. It looked sharp and service was nice & fast.
It’s not often I need a tux but when I do I will definitely be back.

Mission Tuxedos is incredible. Need a last minute tux the day of a wedding and the owner sorted me out in 30 minutes. Reasonably priced, big selection of styles/​sizes at the store and run by a really nice guy. Highly recommended.

John did an incredible job of getting me sorted out for my brother’s wedding. He provides great service, very reasonable prices and personalized attention.

The owner here is beyond sweet. He understands the meaning of customer service and is there to help in any way possible. My fiancé went in to just get measurements and he helped try jackets on, different colors, everything he could. Some may say this is because he wanted to get the sale, but he knew from the very beginning our wedding was out of town and we would not be renting from him. This is a prime example of small business that deserves your sale. I now wish we could be renting from him. THANKS AGAIN!

The guy here is super nice. Coordinated with my dad in Pennsylvania via phone and took care of him and my husband. Really great prices. We were in and out when getting my hubby’s stuff together. Took less than a half hour to pick our style, have him measured, order and pay.

This is a owner ran business. John was so helpful, sweet and easy to converse with. He allowed us to bring our dog in the shop (in a dog purse). Kid friendly shop for ring bearers. Has its own parking lot. Price reflected the area (Santa Barbara). Also, we had a destination wedding and wouldn’t be back for two weeks, he did NOT charge us the daily fee over x amount of days. That was so sweet, he knew our plans and was flexible on his own accord as we were already prepared for that charge and never would have had a problem w the cost. Lastly, we asked if we would be in trouble if we jumped in the ocean with the suits, he said not at all unless they rip, salt water can be washed off! =awesome!

John literally saved me. I left my tux 200mi away and realized it 30min before a wedding. Mission tux was open. And John helped me pick one out last min. I looked sharp. And the price was surprisingly affordable. I probably would have paid twice as much considering my circumstances. Thank you. If I could I would give 100stars. Love sb and the people there.

Came in as a group of four not really knowing what we wanted, other than all an white tuxedo. We totally forgot about the vests, accessories and even the type of tuxedo. There was only one guy working there at the time, who I think was the owner, but gave us his full undivided attention even as phones were ringing and people were coming in to return suits. He gave us great recommendations and dealt with us in a very zippy and friendly manner that in no way felt rushed. Our measurements, trying of the suits, and checkout was a very smooth transaction. So in regards to customer service, it was an awesome experience.
We got our full suit, vest, tie, pants, and shoes for 130 which I think is a perfectly fair price considering it comes with literally everything.
Personally having never rented a tuxedo before, this was a great first experience for me and if I’m ever in the area again I’d gladly use this small business’ services again and recommend it to friends.

Some colleagues and I rented tuxedos for an employee party this weekend. John at Mission Tux provided great service and guided us through their excellent collection. He was very accommodating and gave us a great deal. I highly recommend this shop to anyone for any occasion requiring a suit or tux.

My husband and I recently had a destination wedding which tend to be stressful be it the long distance planning, finding vendors etc. I am genuinely happy to state that the one worry free decision we made was to hire the highly recommended Mission Tuxedos for all our grooms men tuxedo’s and shoes. John and Jim are an absolute delight to work with and are rightfully so, renown in the area for what they do. The process was simple and quick and John was very knowledgeable with our options and captured exactly what we wanted. We had not one issue arise. In fact, when providing the grooms measurements, John was able to identify a measurement that was off and request the best man to reconfirm a measurement which circumvented an improper fit before it even happened! With a wide selection and large variety of name brands to choose from, their pricing is extremely competitive and customer service superior to the other tuxedo stores. We were very happy that Mission Tuxedos selection offered charcoal grey tuxedos because most stores don’t and if they do their sizing’s are limited. The tuxedo’s were there as promised and in great condition, pressed and ready to go. To note, while we were confident that all would go smoothly, we were also assured that if there were any issues, they would be resolved in a very short turn around time which in itself is untouchable in the industry. The groomsmen were able to leave their tuxes at the hotel where they would be picked up which adds yet another level of extraordinary customer service. Now if only they sold wedding gowns…
In summary, statistically, we had our wedding in the second most popular month; August, which also happens to be considered a high season in Santa Barbara California… yet you wouldn’t know it because John and Jim handle every transaction
professionally, timely and with such a personable friendly demeanor. If you are a wedding couple, or anyone looking to rent a suit or tuxedo for a special occasion in either Santa Barbara, Ventura or Oxnard, Mission Tuxedos is the way to go!

I looked at several tux rentals for my wedding before going to Mission. Their prices we on par with the majority of shops, but their service was incredible. John worked really closely with me to make sure my groomsmen and I all looked sharp.
I loved the fact that John was flexible with the pick up and drop off days.

The owner, John, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He listened to what I was looking for and made some recommendations. He found me the perfect suit for my wedding!

John helped Daniela and I rent suits for my best man, groom and her uncle. John is excellent at communicating exactly what the suit rental process entails from measurements to pickup and is with you the whole way. He understands that your wedding day cannot be refunded so he spends plenty of time with you and makes sure you get exactly what you want!

Friendly, knowledgeable, flexible, fun and professional. You really can’t ask for more. I was looking for some slightly unusual items and John the owner was more than happy to help me find them and also offered some great advice.
If I ever need to rent a full tuxedo I will definitely return.
