Great super friendly staff. They make my veggie footlong right every time Fast, fresh and friendly, good work.

The staff at this Subway is great! One thing I’ve also come to appreciate is that they all use reasonable portions, whereas other times I’ve gone to Subway and you can order the exact same thing twice in a row and it won’t taste the same at all.
During the construction in the area in Santa Monica the entrance to Subway has looked kind of sketchy, but it is clean inside, albeit a little bit cramped.

I visit this location during work hours.
While there are tons of shady people outside, the inside of this location is kept really clean. The staff work efficiently during the lunch hour when it gets incredibly crowded. There aren’t too many seats, but I don’t imagine many people would want to eat in here anyway.
It’s a convenient location if you’re shopping at Santa Monica Place, if you work in the area, or if you’re walking around the Pier area. Other than that, you should go to a different location as there are no good parking options to just run in and out.

Excellent franchise store… clean, food was fresh and service professional and thoughtful… this is really important at subway coz some of the workers in other stores just throw your veggies on the bun and you end up having to ask for it to be evenly spread… then there’s the heavy hand on the salt and pepper or chipotle or mayo whatever your fancy might be… I really appreciate the thoughtfulness of these servers… well run and obviously well trained in customer service… I frequent the nearby 24hr sport club across the road and trek past several subways on route from Beverly Hills, the others are hit or miss service wise, but this is worth the wait just for the dependable service and freshness… free parking in the rear and ample street parking which is metered. Lots of other good eateries in the complex and of course it’s anchored by Starbucks and a recently opened counter burger right next door.

DECEMBER 2012: CUSTOMER APPRECIATION $ 2 6″ in Cold Cut Combo/​Meatball Marinara
I was trying out the Subway app on my phone, but apparently they didn’t receive my order. I was getting 4 of their $ 2 6 in cold cut combos, but the 2 workers there had no idea what I was talking about when I told them about the app.
There was only one person behind me, and they made my 4 subs quickly (they were all exactly the same) and the one for the next person without making me feel rushed or in the way.
They have a lot of seats in the restaurant. It looks nice and comfortable.
It’s great, because it’s so close to the mall where I work!
And $ 2 Subs! Woohoo!

If you’re working in Santa Monica, this Subway location is a definite must for frequency. Unlike the other Subway locations around, the people here are much nicer and there is a bigger number. There is hardly ever a line during lunch and when there is, it moves ridiculously quick. There is also high top tables in here and several chocies of flavor shots in the soda fountain. You know I’d be going for the vanilla flavored Coca Cola.
Like Souplantation, I have my precise combination. I normally get the Italian BMT on Italian Cheese and Herb bread with Pepper Jack cheese. Some lettuce, occasionally tomatoes when I feel like it. Add some slices of cucumbers, pepperoncini, pickles, with chicpotle, mayo and honey mustard dressing. YUMMM! All I need after that is a bag of Jalapeño flavored chips to add some crunch in my sandwich.
Cards accepted and fast service. Quick lunch spot at its best!

We stopped in here for a quick lunch after walking around the Santa Monica Pier. I ordered an Italian BMT but after realizing they used real avocados, I wished I had gotten the Turkey Bacon Avocado sub! Fail. In Texas they use a sketch avocado «mush» that comes from a bag. I should have known Cali wouldn’t mess around with the ‘cado. I found that the Sandwich Artists were a little cheap on the veggies, and I had to ask for extra tomatoes and pickles but they hooked it up after I asked for more. Their soda machine had flavor add ins, I didn’t partake in any but was glad to know they were offered in case I decided to walk on the wild side. All in all, it is a decent place to «eat fresh».

If you haven’t been here yet, It’s a definite must. From the furniture to the friendly staff who greet you warmly when you come in, there is no reason to go any other location. All the ingredients were fresh and my sandwich was made exactly the way I wanted it. The line moves much faster here than at the one on the Promenade. Yay!
