Cindy is amazing!!! Tried a new product on me today. My nails don’t feel heavy with acrylic!!! All the ladies in the shop are awesome!!!

I usually come here after work and the last time I went with a friend and my experience was good. The customer service is good, Cindy is very sweet! I got a mani-​pedi and I spent $ 63!!! So expensive! I honestly could say that the customer service is good but not the service. My nails looked really shitty and I had to cut my own cuticles when I left. My cuticles were dried and my nails were not shaped the same. It was a shitty job. In a week, I just ended up doing my own nails. Also, when she painted my nails, she didn’t paint it close enough to my cuticles so it outgrew faster. I couldn’t even take a picture of my nails because it just looked so cheap! I actually spent $ 73 cause of tip! (I was trying to be nice). Anyways, looking for a better nail shop! My pedicure was nice though but my nails were awful. Stick to french tip only if you do come to this place and pedis! Also, PRICES have changed! Use to be $ 23-​$ 25 for a mani, now its $ 31.

Pricing and service was great. Pedicure. When I explained to the gal I dont want my painful toe nails cut out, she went with it, and made it a pleasant experience. My only concern was that the tool sterilization seemed to take place by hand washing in the back room, and I’m not sure how sterile it was, so I cant comment on that process either way. I was very happy with the walk-​in service on a busy lunch hour, I got right in.

I wanted to love LV nails, the staff was friendly and she worked hard on my nails. Unfortunately, the nails only lasted a few days. The acrylic became brittle, the gel started to flake off badly, and the middle finger nail broke off completely as I was opening the door of my car. They’re incredibly short so it’s not like length was the issue. Also, when I was paying, the gentleman seemed annoyed that he had to place his phone down to help me. The price? $ 50.
$ 50 got me a set of gels with a cuticle clean up. Needless to say, I’m in no rush to come back here.

I LOVE this place! I live in Novato but have to come to SR a couple times a week. I just happened upon this place looking for a close nail salon to where I was located. I walked in, asked if I could get a mani and both times they took me right away! My nails are done just how I like them, and the prices are awesome. ($ 25 for a mani) I’ll be coming every two weeks now. I think the atmosphere and décor are fine. I have used their restroom and everything is clean and tidy. I would give them 5 stars but I need to pay attention to how they sterilize their instruments next time I’m there. I didn’t check that out. Derp!

This place is great! This was probably the best mani pedi I have had! They are very nice and took me as a walk-​in had prompt quick Service! The massage was great touch! Good job ladies!!! The selection of gel polish is wonderful And I live the job they did!

Great selection of polishes. Atmosphere a bit unkempt and tacky. Could use a good spruce up. Ladies very nice. Some understand no English, which can be frustrating. the earlier mention of man in the phone is spot on! He’s got a real addiction to it and doesn’t bother to turn off the annoying sounds ! But, what can I say, it’s close and affordable. I prefer My Elegant Nails in the mall, but it’s a little bit more of a hassle for me to get there.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with this salon. About 2 ½ months ago, I went in for acrylic nails. When the lady was doing my nails she knickedmy cuticle of my left thumb and it hurt!
I noted that her station and tools didn’t look that clean, but didn’t worry too much. About a week later my thumb was red, and very sore. It became so painful that I went to urgent care and was prescribed antibiotics. I also saw my regular MD and both doctors said that it was a paronychia, which is an infection at the base of the nail. when I removed the acrylic nail, my nail underneath was dead. Very ugly. It finally grew out and now new is deformed and ugly & not able to grow out fully.
I returned to the salon twice, asking for payment of my out-​of-​pocket medical bills and also showed them pictures of my thumb both times. The first time they said to come back with documentation for their insurance company. The second time they tried to deny that they had done anything wrong! My next step is to contact my attorney. I highly suggest you do not step foot in this unsanitary and dishonest salon! Read less

I’ve been here multiple times just walk-​in and they are always courteous and I never have to wait very long. They do a great job with artsy type manicures and pedicures. You can bring in a picture that you find online of a manicure or pedicure that you like and they will do it for you. They’re super awesome! And I like that they have lower prices for little kids too.

Came in to get nails done for twenty minutes the ladies kept sayin how difficult my nails are since I like a different shape and how they didn’t know how hard I would be they’re almost closed so basically you didn’t wanna do my nails cause u wanted to go home then you shouldn’t have made my appointment when I called terrible customer service rude and kept acting like how much I was willing to spend like I couldn’t afford what I was askin for I have never been treated like that when ur spending so much in a place that’s ok I will take my business else where just CAUTION TWORDS EVENINGS OR CLOSING TIME YHEY ARE LAZY AND RATHER GO HOME AND TALK SHIT TO YOU TILL U LEAVE THANKS LV NAILS FOR BASICALLY CHASING ME OUT HOOE U HAVE A GREAT NIGHT

My husband and I were staying at a nearby hotel and I decided to try this salon to get an acrylic fill, gels, and pedi. The man who was to do my manicure was irritated that I took him away from his phone, but agreed to help me. The woman who did the pedicure was great! The man, I think his name was David, didn’t bother to clean my fingernails or remove my cuticles. When he finished I could see acrylic overlapping onto my cuticles and a black line from where the previous acrylic ended. He rushed the job and it looked awful. When I got back home to Ventura, my regular guy was surprised at how bad it was and had remove and replace the entire set to fix the damage. While I plan to return to Santa Rosa to visit, I will never return here.

I went back to LV Nails for a mani and pedi yesterday, June 18, 2014. I had called earlier in the day to see what time they closed and the gentleman who took my call asked for my name and what time I would arrive. When I got there, he remembered that I had called earlier, there was no wait, and I once again got great service. As one gal was doing my pedi, the same gentleman came over and started my mani; wow, did I feel special! The shop was once again clean, and everyone was friendly. They did a great job and my nails look beautiful. I will always go back to LV Nails! Thank you!

This is the best nail salon. Cindy usually does my manicure and several other women do my pedicures. Cindy is so creative and comes up with the best designs. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I always look forward to my time in their shop. I was on vacation in Cabo last week and everyone at the resort LOVED Cindy’s design. Thank you Cindy!

I went to this nail salon about 40 minutes before their closing time. I was assured there was plenty of time to have a mani/​pedi. My feet barely hit the water before another manicurist came over and started to do my nails. (to expedite things I suppose).
This manicurist placed a pillow on my lap to set the UV light on. She failed to trim or shape my nails at all. (I asked that they be shortened). She drew blood on my thumb when she was trimming my cuticles, and never said a word of apology. She just wiped the blood away and kept going. Lastly, she didn’t bother to remove the polish she overran onto my fingers.
Getting my nails done is normally an enjoyable and relaxing experience for me. This experience was stressful and disappointing. I have been to more than a few nail salons over the years, and I have NEVER had an experience like this. This was my first visit to this salon and it will also be my last.
Additional Note: this Salon DOES NOT accept ATM Debit/​Credit cards. Payment must be made with cash or check. Thankfully I had an «emergency» check with me.

I was on a business trip, and saw that LV nails was near my hotel. I looked at all the reviews on Unilocal,and went for it. Everyone was right. This place is amazing — very clean, wonderful and creative technicians, and friendly to boot. Unlike many salons, they speak to you, their client, and and not to each other under their breath in their native tongue. It’s a very fun atmosphere. They seem to have a lot of regulars. I can see why. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because it’s in a strip mall, and isn’t a full spa. You want to go here!

Cindy is amazing. After walking out of a bad place I came here and had thee best pedicure and treatment. Quality products great massage and very friendly. Good prices. Very clean! Goin back tomorrow for nails wax and a pedi for my daughter!

I have been coming here for years. Cindy is amazing she does my full sets, but all the ladies are super friendly. I also get my brows done here. I rec appointments on the wknds bcuz it can get really busy!

I go here regularly and have found them all to be polite and professional. There have been a couple of «oops» with my acrylics, but they were both fixed immediately, politely, and without question.
Perhaps the negative reviews are from folks who don’t understand that there are some cultural differences here (the owners are Vietnamese), but that doesn’t make them bad people. They are actually quite charming and enjoy talking about their kids, etc. Lighten up, guys!

Came here with a friend today after making a appointment. showed up and there was just 3 people working and no customers but for some reason they were all flusterd that we showed up and were rushing us to pick colors. they were irritated that we were both getting pedicures
I wanted a gel manicure with a diffrent color on each finger so 5 colors that i was going to pick out when the pedicure was done and so when the man, who by the way i never want to touch me or even speak to me again, came up with a bowl to soak my hands asked me very rude what color and i was trying to explain the multicolor he snapped «what color!» at this point i was shaking i was so mad and then he asked me again i told him to take the bowl away i dont want a manicure anymore
His wife doing the pedicure preceded to ask me why i didnt want one anymore and said she was going to do it so i finally agreed
Its ok looking could be better. spent $ 50 on a mani pedi after being snapped at and having some guy knock over my toenail polish i picked out and almost stepping on my purse.
Guys a asshole salon is mediocre. not going back
edit:its day 2 and my gold gel nails are cracking and peeling off :)
