Rejuvance Skin Care & Massage

My sister and I went to Ruby for eyebrow threading after we saw her deal on groupon. She is really good at what she does and we have no complaints about her work.
Unfortunately we had a very bad overall experience. We purchased one groupon for eyebrows which was good for two sessions. She clearly indicated that she could not use the deal on my sister and I both at the same time. So I paid in full for my service at the time. When my sister went back to get her second session, she was told that the groupon was no longer valid as we had used it up the last time which is absolutely not true! I wish now we had taken something in writing the first time around. Its a shame to be treated like this and that too for something she agreed to herself in the first place. Needless to say we will not be going back to her or recommending her to anyone else after such a horrible experience.

Ruby is amazing. I take my teenage daughter for eyebrow threading to Ruby. She is patient with her and listens to what she wants. She doesn’t over pluck and even from the beginning advised my daughter what suits her face and age.
The waiting room is relaxing. There’s free parking at the back.

I got a 60 minute massage with Vera & it was AMAZING. This was my first professional massage so I don’t have anything to compare it to but it was seriously incredible. Vera was very sweet and made sure the pressure was what I like. She whispers and has a soothing voice when she asks you to roll over or anything.
I used a groupon but it was so great I would definitely pay full price for a massage! So worth it!!!
Her hands are amazing, I have had trouble with my upper back by my neck and lower back and she did such a wonderful job because my back feels awesome now! No pain! I will DEFINITELY go back! Most relaxing 60 minutes of my life! THANK YOU VERA!

If only it was possible to give 0 stars! On two separate occasions, about a year apart, I have been stranded at the Rejuvance suite without any contact or explanation! When I arrived this morning, the business was completely closed, the phone wasn’t answered after several calls and sitting on the stoop in front of other, operating businesses becomes awkward and rude so like last time, after 15 minutes, I left.
With this experience and as evidenced by the way she responds to others clients’ Unilocal reviews, this woman is the epitome of unprofessional and with the extensive availability of massage spas, would never recommend or return to this business; I would rather spend my money with wellness professionals who are respectful, appreciate and value their clients and want to earn their business.

I was going through looking for a Place to get a massage and I found this place so I decided to check the reviews and I’m glad I did! A customer gives her honest opinion on her massage by Vera the owner and this is the response she gets, I was appalled and glad I checked the reviews.

I had a 90 minute massage with Vera a month or two ago with a Groupon. She is very skilled and professional, and what I like best is that she moves slowly so it’s easy to relax. She communicated well to find out what pressure I preferred. My only suggestion is that the entry and massage rooms could be a bit more «spa-​like», there was noise from the rest of the building and I really like a super clean/​crisp ambience. I am also a massage professional, so I can say that Vera’s work is excellent and I would recommend her, and I will go there again.

I give 3 star just because of the price I paid through Groupon. If I had to pay their price for the massage I got today, I would give just 2 star and won’t go back.
I had a 90 minutes massage with Vera. She is a nice and friendly person. But for her massage, she basically used the same stroke using her forearm and elbow over and over again. I don’t mind if it’s a good one but clearly she is not a skillful one for this.
I got there early and was on the table like around 4:05 and she finished the massage at 5:20 so it’s only 75 minutes massage not a 90 minutes as they claimed.
Now I’m at home and some part of my body is still achy: (

**Vera, I’m just being honest here. For the service I pay from my hard earned money, If it’s good I will say it’s good, if it’s not I will say it’s not too. I have had so many massages and I know when I got a good one. Sorry if this hurts you but I’m not lying.
And I’m not a hard to please person, I just have high standard.

My boyfriend gave a Rejuvance massage for a Christmas present, which I finally redeemed this week. This was my first time at Rejuvance as well as my first professional massage experience and it was excellent. Rejuvance has a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere, which made me feel calm and comfortable as soon as I entered. Vera is very kind and did a wonderful job on my hour long massage. She immediately located several particularly tense and knotted areas in the back of my shoulder that have been bugging me for ages, and gently worked on them until they were gone. She did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Rejuvance massages make wonderful gifts, or a great treat for yourself! Make sure you call a few weeks ahead to book your appointment. I’ll definitely be back again!

I have yet to have a bad experience with Vera both me and my husband see her and always leave feeling 1000% better then when we walked in, I recommend her all the time to family and friends

Ruby, the woman who threads eyebrows, charges $ 20 and the service is mediocre at best. There are nicer salons who charge less for the same service ($ 13 in San Francisco). Ruby is a bit snotty and NOT flexible AT ALL, even for well-​established clients. We shall take our $ 20 elsewhere, which will likely result in a $ 7 tip for that service provider. (PS– if you don’t come in according to her schedule (every 2 — 3 weeks (?), Ruby scolds you.) So let me be clear, you are paying her to rip your hair out and scold you… No thanks.

You cannot compare Rejuvance with other spas… it would be like comparing apples to oranges.
Rejuvance’s space is small so you won’t get the big box spa experience. I don’t necessarily need that… what I need is to have my back feel better. And that is what I got, a relaxing and refreshing massage from Vera! I purchased a special massage treatment thru LivingSocial and was not disappointed.
My back feels better. The key to massages is to get them often to help with any issues you might have, plus you need to drink a lot of water. So with this in mind, and after chatting with Vera, she offered to give me a special rate if I book another appointment. I did and am so glad because her rate is very reasonable in this market. I will probably see her as often as I can as I am embarking on a new health régime and massages are definitely a part of that.
Her evening appointments are booked weeks in advance so call ahead to find the best time available.

Vera was absolutely awesome and I had the nicest massage. Felt totally relaxed and actually fell asleep for awhile. That’s a great massage in my book.

Vera’s massages are excellent. Very relaxing and always enjoyable. Vera is also very pleasant to talk with. The bonus is that it’s so much more reasonably priced that any «spa» I’ve checked. I highly recommend getting a massage from Vera!

Went once… and will continue to go. Lea is attentive, knowledgable and caring. The perfect place for the best facial.

My daughter and I went to Rejuvance on Saturday for facials and massages. My second time there, my daughters first ~ from the moment you enter their business you are calmed and comfortable. Vera and Katy are both fantastic at their talents.
Amazing experience for both of us.

I went here for a prenatal massage. The massage would have been relaxing if I wasn’t pregnant. The massage therapist had me lie down on my stomach for the massage! The proper method is side lying. Needless to say, not a very comfortable experience!

I was treated like a queen. The facial by CAelie was professional & aimed to my particular skin type. She did wonders. The massage given to me by Vera was top notch. The best I have ever had. I will definatley come back again & again.

I’ve never been there but friends of mine have and say it’s not worth it. Too pricey and apparently Kelly spends her time badmouthing other places she’s worked instead of promoting herself in a fair and legal way.

Kelly is the best personal maintenance professional I know.
Her rates are decent and her shop is AWESOME!
