Savannah Ink Tattoo

Clean shop, professional artists… very happy with my experience and will return in the future.

My wife came in and both of us got a tattoo for our anniversary. I had done some research and Peter was very good and his artwork was great. I would highly recommend this place.

Walked in today while on vacation to get a modified ouroboros. Peter was incredibly helpful and super supportive of what I wanted. He helped create exactly what I envisioned, and suggested placement based on his expertise. Honestly I’m so happy I walked in and now I have the best souvenir from my first trip to Savannah! Thank you!

I really can’t say enough good things about this shop. It was clean, super professional, and I adore Schuyler! He’s SUPER talented and very friendly. His rates are very reasonable, indeed. And we bonded on horror, Star Wars and Pokemon. So, bonus: D
I mean, I cannot wait to get more work done by him. I think that says it all. He’s my new favorite artist.

Saw positive posts on Unilocal so I walked in while on vacation to get some lettering done. Ben helped me out. He was super cool/​nice/​welcoming. I’m happy about my experience and the price. Would go back again if I were in town. They even made some restaurant recommendations for me :-) thanks, Ben!

Peter is truly a patient and gifted artist. He emailed my design to me and let me give suggestions on what I wanted changed and had it ready when I came in. I’m currently waiting on a design for my second tattoo from him.

Got matching tattoos with my friend. Peter was super friendly, professional and gave great insight as to where to get the tattoo done. Clean, friendly and happy to take care of our walk ins.

My partner wanted to get a tattoo for me on our vacation so he looked at several places on Unilocal before we checked this one out. He was impressed with the photos and wanted to find a wheelchair-​accessible place so I could sit with him as it was his first tat. We popped in and the owner and his artist, Peter, squeezed him in for the following day. We showed up and he had the artwork ready, adjusted it a little, and got to work. It was exactly what my husband wanted, took no time at all, and was very affordable. My sister got a smaller, similarly difficult tattoo from a competitor in Savannah almost a decade ago and paid close to the same price. Peter was very friendly and clearly loves what he is doing. We will be coming back.

This review is way overdo, but better later than never! I got my tattoo done back in February. I was visiting Savannah all the way from CA, so I had to set up my appointment over email without being able to visit & check the place out. I was a little nervous at first since I wasn’t able to check the place out, but I’m so that I went through with it because Peter is an amazing artist! My tattoo turned out beautiful and better than I ever imagined it in my mind. His shop is very clean with separate rooms for each artist. He also gave my boyfriend and I must go places in Savannah, I really appreciated that! If I ever visit Savannah again, I definitely will make my way back to Peter to get another piece.

Schuyler is super personable, a talented artist, and has an amazing bedside manner. He consulted with me thoroughly via email. I’m over the moon happy, and will be using him many more times to come.

Excellent service. The entire staff was very professional and courteous. The facility was remarkably clean. Schuyler did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable and did an outstanding job on my tribute tattoo to my mom at a crazy affordable price. I came in with a partial idea and he sketched it into reality. I would definitely return and recommend this place to anyone.

Peter was awesome. He was professional and friendly and I felt totally comfortable getting my tattoo there. He did a great job and answered all of my questions and I really love the results.

I knew I was going to be in Savannah and wanted a good tattoo from someone other than my usual artist.
I found Peter on Instagram and I was very impressed by his work. I contacted him via email and he responded within a couple hours and scheduled me for the day I was going to have some free time.
When I got there, I told him what I wanted and he drew it out, set up his machines and got to work.
Even though the location I chose was in a tender spot, he really didn’t hurt me that bad (bonus) and he worked quickly. He also uses high-​quality inks and needles.
The bottom line is, Peter has a very high level of skill. His line work is impeccable and technically perfect. His grays and whites really snap and his watercolor splatter technique is amazing.
I’ve been getting tattooed for 16 years and I have full sleeves so I know a thing or two about tattooing and in my opinion, Peter’s work is extremely high-​quality. I will certainly be going back for more which is saying a lot considering I live four hours away in a town with several great shops.

I had Peter do some work for me based on his Unilocal rating and I was so pleased that I went back for some more work. I have since scheduled a third visit! I also had him do a couple small tattoos for my daughter. I find him very professional, super friendly and a fantastic artist! He works very hard and does awesome work. The shop is clean, bright and filled with his original artwork. I highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed.

My wife originally only scheduled an appointment for herself. We arrived at Savannah Tattoo a little earlier than her appointment time, to see if Peter would have time to do a tattoo for me too. I fully expected him not to be able to fit me in, but Peter was very accommodating and said he had time and eagerly wanted to see what kinda art I wanted done. Let me tell you… Peter is very detailed and quick, not mention not too expensive. I can’t wait to come back to Savannah to get another tattoo done by Peter.

I don’t write reviews but this is an exception. Right off I want to say that Peter is personable, professional and most of all a very talented artist. I came down from New York to have Peter ink my tattoo this Memorial Day Monday. His work is exceptional and I have already received multiple compliments just from the local residents. The shop is clean and bright. I recommend to go and check Savannah Ink out if you are in Savannah and thinking about getting a tattoo.
