A club indeed it is, and granted, I am far removed from this area with my degree from Harper College hanging proudly in my office wall. But we always came here and kicked ass in the volleyball courts, it is not for nothing that we were the proud district 211 Volleyball champs.
We would come in at night and take a few laps around this place. In all fairness I can’t really rate it as a meat market because I always had the honor of being accompanied by beautiful Carla L. but it hits the spot.
A few beers and some good bar food and my day is instantly better.

I lived SECONDS from this place so its mucho convenient for me if I need to stumble home!
The place is quite outdated but I like the free buffet, I like the wings, and I like their drink specials. Usually only come here for happy hour with the peeps.
Ladies: the bathrooms are gross and smelly so beware of the herpe!

What’s an awesome way to celebrate a birthday?
Playing bags with old roommates and re-​living college.
Followed by a shot of patron.
The beer garden at Alumni is HUGE. They have volleyball. What bar has actual sand? They have tons of tables and seats around the bar. There’s also tons of tv and really appealing looking slushy drinks. I kinda felt like I was in Florida for a bit. The Friday night special was $ 2.50 Miller Lites and $ 5 Absolut drinks.
Ok, and, the waitress totally knew how to make lunchboxes ($ 7). We all know that’s how I like to judge a place. Ha.
When you’re tired of hanging out outside, you can head on inside and enjoy the clubby-​ness of the place. They were playin’ all sorts of hip-​hop and old school jams.
I shouldn’t be so quick to judge as I honestly thought I’d hate it here. To everyone’s surprise, we all had a great time!

Went here on a Fri night and it was just sad. The beer wasn’t chilled and our server gave us dirty glasses. The chicken tenders we ordered were disastrous. It was quite empty for a weekend.
The outdoor patio looked nice and I would imagine it would be nice to hang out there on a good day.
