Was coming all the way from Renton because all the Emerald City Smoothies in my area had already closed, came around 7:49 on a Saturday night(this location closes at 8) and the barista with short brunette hair told me that she wouldn’t make me a smoothie at that time because they were closing… Seems like poor business practice to me. As a die hard emerald smoothie addict I was so disappointed in that kind of service.

I wish all locations would make their smoothies the same. My usual order usually tastes creamier and it’s been consistent at all their locations until recently. The only place that still makes it the way it has always tasted is the Aurora one. The Westlake location asked me for another dollar to make it creamier. What a ripoff. Too bad the Columbia Tower location closed. That was my work go to smoothie spot. Plus the people at this location are often rude. There are nice people that help you once in a while.

Website says they close at 6 and they refused to serve anyone at 5:40. That’s not right.

I will give this one star because zero stars isn’t an option. Allow me to recreate the encounter with the young lady behind the counter(referred to as «Her.») Me: Hi. I would like a slim n fit please. Her: What size? Me: What size corresponds to the calories on your menu? Her: Medium. Me: OK, medium then. Her: Do you want peanut butter of flax oil? Me: Is that included with the calories? Her: Yes, I’m pretty sure. Me: Really? Her: I don’t know, I just work here. Me [to other employee]: Excuse me. Is the peanut butter/flax oil included in the calorie count? Other employee: No. Me: OK, no peanut butter or flax oil then. Her: [Makes smoothie. I carefully observe. I see her put one scoop of protein powder in and blend it up. This surprises me, given the advertised 50+ grams of protein on the menu]. Me(to other employee): Excuse me. How many scoops of protein powder in the slim n fit? Other employee: 2 and ½ Me: Excuse me. You only put one scoop of protein powder in Her: Hmm. [Proceeds to add another scoop in reluctant and irritated manner. Adds more ice and water. Re-blends. Resulting in much more smoothie volume] Her: [Pours into medium cup, resulting in much left over in bottom of blender. Proceeds to hand me cup with about 30% of smoothie still in the blender]. Me: I think you forgot some in blender. Her: Well, you ordered a medium. Me: [Stare at her disbelief.] That’s because you had to put more in when I pointed out it wasn’t correct. Other employee: Just put it in a large cup. Her: Puts in a large cup, reluctantly. Sarcastically wishes me a nice day but I can tell she wishes me ill. Me: [Guzzle smoothie. Not that great. But at least I got my protein].

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! for starters im not paying cash… so he could have taking my order and payment. second… its 1230 in the afternoon on a Wednesday… prime lunch time for people who work downtown. im probably taking this way worse than i should, but damnit… im pregnant, hot and thirsty!!!

I like this place but don’t bother with this location. I’ve gone in when they are supposed to be open on two occasions and both times they are closed. Today I tried. 30 minutes before closing. The worker was still there but informed me they were closed. Go to the Queen Anne location.

Stopped by here with my Mom and my cousin just before we got on the Monorail to the Seattle Center. I got a small Peanut Protein and my Mom got a fruity smoothie(can’t remember the name, unfortunately). The prices here are pretty good compared to other big name smoothie places, the girl who was at the cashier was very personable and they are very fast, too. This location is up on the top floor of Westlake Center downtown near the Monorail entrance.

Roach crawling on side of sink. Never. Going. There. Again!!! Will I go back: NO Good customer service: YES Unfortunately, I didn’t like seeing a large roach crawling up the wall near their sink. I used to come here every once and while when going to shop in downtown Seattle, but not anymore. Seeing the bug just has me wondering if that whole place needs a good clean up.

Very quick service, and the smoothie was delicious. Even for a mall food court, I was impressed. :)

Typically when one goes to a smoothie place, you expect to see more fruit than just bananas. Not here. You get a view of a banana and then the rest of the smoothie is made with some combination of sugar, syrup in these squeeze bottles, and something unnatural. Looking past the ingredients, I was hopeful that a decent smoothie could be made here… the amount of sugar was a little overpowering and I couldn’t my finish my drink.

One server(who is also the cashier) and six customers so far… I’m writing this as I wait. Ordered the Pacific Splash which is very similar to the Razzmatazz at Jamba Juice. At least the drink is good!

I ordered a matcha green tea smoothie which is my fav drink at ECS. It was a bad sign when they didn’t have it on their menu but I got it anyways. I’m not sure if someone just messed up this one time or if they were using a green tea syrup instead of the matcha mix. Definitely getting something else if I ever come back

There was a sign on the counter that read, «BRB on lunch break». I waited around because I saw the happy hour promotion here on Unilocal and when the only employee returned after 15 minutes they knew nothing of the happy hour promotion. Disappointing.

Been waiting for 25min but no one here to help me except a sign on the counter saying be right back. Saturdays I assume are good business days. Guess not for these business people.

This guy named Nate or as other people called him, the«smoothie master, pokemon master and a hobbit,» makes amazing smoothies. He got a few of them that he «created.» So far, I tried his Fhloston paradise and it was fruitious. I used to be a barista myself and I can see that he pays close attention to details, quick and he know his ingredients really well. He’s always friendly and we have a lot to talk about since he’s into a lot of great games. Find out when he’s working, so you can catch him with your master ball. He’s one of the legendary and shiny barista with manly beard.

Service you will not get here!!! I walked in at 7.55pm this evening, and was told they were closed up. Hmmm, I asked ‘when do you close’? She replied at ‘8’? I told her it wasn’t 8, she shrugged her shoulders and said, ‘sorry Hun’ and returned to chatting with her boyfriend. Every time I am in there the people so apparently don’t want to be there and take care of their customer. Not all locations are like this, not sure why this one is so badly managed and clearly doesn’t want business. If you want a good experience, check out the Queen Anne or Capital Hill locations. They are interested and excited to make you a smoothie!!!

I have tried to visit smoothie more nowadays than going to Bubble Tea places since my beloved boba in bubble tea is unfortunately not very healthy. This place is ok. The price is higher than the Redmond location. For instance, a regular smoothie costs over $ 5 here. But they are yummy and delicious! Also super healthy! I really like smoothie and would love to visit here more frequently. However, if I am given the choice to choose between a meal of $ 6 right next door or $ 6 here for a smoothie, I would probably go for the meal first. In other words, it is definitely way overpriced. Staff is nice. They tend to get busy. One time I was here, the line was super long and there was only one staff around. If you use Unilocal check-in for 3 times, you get 25% off for your next(4th) visit.
