South Parks finest Mexican. Chili Colorado burrito is so simple and yet complex. I might even say its the best 3 ingredient burrito in the area. tortilla, meat and cheese. Nice family that runs the place only adds to the flavor. I recommend going on a random Sat or Sunday for lunch. Cold beers and a very hot plate await.

My friends claim this place is great, well it may be if you ever get waited on. I went in for lunch and sat there for 10 minutes with wait staff walking by me completely ignoring me. Not so much as a buenos Dias. I walked out and won’t be back.

I been here 3x over 12 years. The last time I was here thye didn’t like my tip so they added more to my tip after I left. No it is not an error on their side they did since i tipped them low that day. Cost a lot more then most Mexican restaurant and they don’t have steak/carne asada. The only thing with steak was a fajitas.

Surprisingly, this place gets pretty packed during lunch hours! The food is fresh and it tastes pretty good. Best thing is, it is quite close to work. I like that they have a lunch«special» that isn’t very special at all. Nothing extra comes with it(ie. beverage or something). The price of the specials is average of $ 9, though cheaper than the full menu, it is still quite expensive for South Park area. Another problem I had was how slow their service was. I think this is the slowest Mexican restaurant that I have encountered. They were quick to take our order, but the food was a long wait. I also personally love that they have Mexican coke. a gigantic 1 liter is served! However, I think I got juked, because the Mexican coke was not made with cane sugar like the authentic ones. All in all, this place is just average. With so many other Mexican restaurants right next to them, I think they need to step up their game!

They give you a generous amount of fresh, warm chips with salsa and beans. The servings are huge! Taste wise it was alright. Nothing special.

We discovered Jalisco tonight after living 2 years literally 5 minutes away up the hill. With a husband with Celiac disease, options are tight — and feeling limited to the more hot-spot authentic or fresh-Mex options further out in neighborhoods like Ballard/Alki/Fremont/or even Georgetown, which are all good, you begin to miss the Mexican food you grew up on. You know, places with old standbys like cheesy enchiladas smothered in sauce and big decadent burritos with dollops of sour cream and guacamole served with sides of refried beans and Mexican rice? We called before we came and when we got there, one of the employees walked up and smiled and said, «You called about the gluten?» We took our seats and she literally went through the whole menu with what they could and could do. She kept coming back with more ideas as she thought of them about how items could be altered so they would be safe, too. We ordered 2 great meals and the margaritas on top did the trick. We truly felt like she had ownership in her job and simply cared about making her guests happy — And I know she wasn’t wasting our time because I heard the word«Gluten» come up multiple times as she shouted out the order through the kitchen window. It was a good, solid, Mexican comfort food meal served by a kind knowledgeable woman who cared. Who could ask for more?

This place is awesome. Pico de gallo and house salsa with chips. The pollo a la crema is our go to dish always.

Love this place! Hadn’t been in years because the South Park Bridge was closed. The lovely staff remembered us. Service was great and food was tasty. The best chips and salsa. Will be back soon.

New favorite! My husband and I ate here for the first time tonight, and were pleasantly surprised. We had fast, friendly service and we both enjoyed our dinners. I had the Jalisco enchilada with shredded, juicy chicken. My husband ordered chimichangas, and loved the seasoned, tender shredded Beef. Also, the pico de gallo served along with salsa and chips was delicious. My Lime Margarita topped off the meal perfectly, We’ll definitely be returning to this Jalisco’s which is about 10 minutes from home for us.

I used to come here a lot before the south park bridge closed down. When it reopened I was so excited to come back. I ate here a month ago and experienced very mediocre good and poor service. Needless to say I left quite underwhelmed. Thinking maybe it was an off day, decided to give it another chance. The good was very bland and the service was indifferent. They seemed like we were putting them out when we pointed out things missing from our order. I won’t be coming back. Very sad. They used to be much better than this.

I really dislike giving bad reviews but this place really deserved it. Food was dry and flavor less. Service was none existent. I was over charged on my check and when I asked to have it corrected they refused. Please go somewhere else. Try La Fonda in Georgetown. The best I have had here in Seattle. Oh by the way I went to use the rest rooms and saw that they hand the chips on the dirty floor and serving it from there to the tables. Never again.

Warm chips, medium-hot salsa, authentic music, and the friendly waitress helps us practice our Spanish with patience. We love this place.

I have been here a few times for lunch and have always liked it. I really enjoy the two salsas they serve and lunch is always served quick. We came here for dinner the other night after an event in Georgetown and had one of the best Mexican dinners we have experienced since we have been up here. I had the chicken crema and it was so good I could have drank the sauce. My wife had the chicken carbon tacos which she raved about and asked why I have kept this place a secret. The service was good and we will be back soon.

I thoroughly enjoy Jalisco Restaurant. I love their tacos charon. The beef is delicious bite size pieces perfectly cooked. Their portion sizes are huge never skimping on rice, beans, meat, or sour cream. I have never left Jalisco’s feeling even slightly less than stuffed. Despite how quickly it will become busy around lunch the servers and the food are always quick. They are undaunted by large groups never batting an eye or sighing in displeasure. They don’t complain when you need the check split up ten ways, you pay at the counter and tell them what you had and they’ll have you in and out in no time. The restaurant itself is small, the décor a little out dated. The servers aren’t overly warm, but very business like. Yet, when they crack a smile you know it’s genuine and they take pride in their delicious food.

Came here with a party of 14 in the middle of the week for lunch. We got there as it opened. It definitely had a family business feel to it. The dining room was small and festive. I would go as far as saying authentic Mexican. The food came out fast. Always there to refill your water. The food itself tasted and felt more home made than those at a large chain restaurant.

I have had some mixed experiences at Jalisco, but overall I generally like the restaurant. The food is what brings me back for more. They have amazing tacos here — super delicious and stuffed full of meat, veggies, cheese, guac, etc! The rice and beans are good, as are the chips and salsa. It is a tasty experience not to be missed! But in order to enjoy the great food, you have to recognize that service can be very slow, especially during workday lunch times, as the nearby Boeing employees often frequent this restaurant. The place is usually packed at lunch time. Once I visited with a friend during lunch. We got our order in right after we arrived, but a few minutes later a large 20-something party of Boeing employees arrived. Somehow they got their food before us and we ended up waiting nearly an hour for our food to arrive. It was pretty disappointing. Sometimes service can be quite quick, but you can never really guarantee it here. Prices are fairly reasonable and the portions are huge — I always have leftovers. The employees are all very friendly and nice, so that is awesome. I would recommend Jalisco for the delicious food, but I’d make sure you set aside at least an hour of time if you are planning to eat here.
