I’ve had good phở many places but none as delicious as this. The broth makes everything better. We go once or twice a week and until the last month or so the prices had not been raised in several years. It’s still cheaper than many other places. When smoking used to be allowed in restaurants I’d get my phở to go but now we linger over the paper and have tea and conversations with the owner. It takes a while to get to know him but when you do it’s worth the wait. This man really knows what he’s doing. He’d better… he’s been doing it for 30 years. I’d like to see more items on the menu but I’d probably still only order my faves. Some things you just can’t get too much of.

There is a scary old man that either owns or runs the joint and he is a yeller. My hubby won’t let me go in this joint anymore. The soup was decent but its the kinda place you want to get out of quick.

I used to like this place. They had my favorite rice dish, but recently the pork has been dried out, and possibly old. It tasted off and oily! The place is pretty dirty, and so are the bathrooms. Ugh! The Phở has also gone down too. It isn’t really appealing when they put their ladles in an old Wind Fresh detergent bucket! The last time we came here, my fiancé got sick immediately after he ate. We had to take him to McDonalds to get food back in his stomach. This place is also pretty laid back, the owner can sometimes be seen sleeping and snoring while we’re eating our food. It doesn’t bother me, but I noticed that other patrons were not to happy about it. It’s too bad that this place has really gone down in quality!

I loved Phở until I ate here. I wouldn’t go back here if my life depended on it. When I ordered the last time from here was«To Go». When I came in to pick up my order, the lady who handed me the bags with our food in it had snot on her pinky finger… eckh! yuck!!! eeeww… OMG, I just want to throw up thinking about it. How do I know she didn’t cook it? It was so gross. To this day, I gag at the thought of her pinky. I couldn’t eat the food and I wasn’t mean enough to say no to her at the time. So, I ended up wasting money on food we didn’t eat. So, I’m traumatised with Phở. I can’t eat it because of the vision I have every time I see a restaurant that serves Phở.

Last time I was here was winter and it was FREEZING inside. There appeared to be no central heating because they had a shitty little radiant space heater in one corner. The entire place was grimy and dirty feeling. I wanted to take a shower after I ate here. But here’s the worst part. The owner was SMOKING in the restaurant, a few tables away from me, while I ate my(mediocre) phở. Isn’t that, like, illegal?
