I was waiting on line to get a lemonade and another patron started arguing with me and my boyfriend about how we cut him in line and how disgusting we were. He had his two daughters with him and was cussing very loudly in front of other kids. The woman working at Frankfurter didn’t say anything. She just stared for a moment, then started doing something in the back until we were done arguing. The man blocked us from going up to the counter by extending his hands and that’s when I knew I had no desire to deal with that person any longer. This isn’t how you run a business. You clearly know who was in front of who. Stand up for your customers and don’t hide in the back because there’s an altercation. There’s a sign on the right of the cashier that said«Go on our website and try our coupons.» I go on their website on my phone and show her a coupon and she laughed and said all the coupons are from 2013 and invalid. Why is the sign up then? I have no desire to come back here.

Wanted something fast and delicious. Can’t go wrong with Frankfurter hot dogs. We ate the all beef hot dog, the bratwursts, and southwestern turkey hot dog. All super delicious. The chili was tasty and the strawberry lemonade was not super sweet.

The lady working here clearly hated her job with every fiber of her being. And thats what I remember the most about this place. There was no clear line and the lady working didn’t care at all to help people who had clearly been standing there the longest. Instead she huffed and puffed around looking absolutely disgusted. She didn’t repeat your order back to you, which would have been to her benefit since she thought that I ordered 2 hot dogs. After she rang me up for two I politely said that I only wanted 1 hot dog, and she aggressively threw the hot dog in the trash. Uh sorry you misheard me and I don’t want to just buy a second one? No thanks, no anything, literally only told me my total and looked genuinely disturbed by my presence. I get it, serving hot dogs in a little hut probably isn’t the coolest job ever but dang lady. She was like this to everyone. The hot dog was good, I got something like the hot italian or something spicy. 5 bucks for a snack to tide me over for dinner isn’t bad, but if I needed an actual meal I probably would have needed 1.5 or 2 of these and at that point I think I’d rather pop over to Red Robin or grab some fish and chips if I’m going to be spending over 10 bucks. The hot dog was indeed spicy to my liking. The bun was about two inches too big for the hot dog and could have used some toasting or something as it was a little bready. I wasn’t offered any sauerkraut and honestly didn’t want to bother the lady anymore in fear she’d have a melt down for inconveniencing her anymore. The condiments were around the side and didn’t really seem the most hygenic. The pumps on the mustard etc clearly needed to be cleaned and were a little sticky, but at least the relish and onions seemed relatively fresh in their containers. Overall if you need a quick 5 dollar snack this is a decent place to go. If I was in the area and felt the need for one I wouldn’t be opposed to coming here.

The dog was cold in the center. Person serving the food seemed to get upset because we did not like Washington. Two bites and in the trash. A waste and overpriced.

Tried polish kilbasa. Not kielbasa at all. Has orange color inside and is sour(. The relish and souses are on the right side of the wagon and are not under control of the employee.

We had Kielbasa with Sauerkraut. It was whipped up within 3 minutes with fresh-pressed lemonade that had a perfect combination of taste and sugar. As a quick snack for two off-the-airplane, out-of-the-hotel people, this was the perfect snack. Recommend for a quick bite!

Well this takes me back in time. I remember when The Frankfurter was all over the area and thought they were long gone, so it was really cool to see one opened still. It was a busy Saturday on the waterfront so I didn’t take the time to really look at the menu. I ended up going with the Old Fashioned. It was really good and sort of nostalgic in a way, although I barely remember what they tasted like back in the day. I should of gotten a lemonade but didn’t even think about it at the time. The price was a little on the steep side but I’m not complaining, it was cool to get a hot dog from here and I would get one again next time I am playing local tourist.

5 bucks for a hot dog. Need two of them for lunch. Nothing special about these dogs. Don’t get the chili on them, that could be bad news for you afterwards. 2 bucks for a fountain drink.

This is a nice little hotdog stand out on the waterfront. We had a regular hotdog combo with a lemonade. The hotdog wasn’t anything spectacular. There was nothing to it and you put your own condiments on it. They offer sauerkraut, but I’m not a big fan, so I skipped out on it. The lemonade, however, was delicious! It tasted like it was just squeezed and was very refreshing.

The prices were surprisingly reasonable for being downtown and right on the water. I was able to feed myself and my son for less than $ 15 bux and be considerably full. Nice variety of dogs and sausages ranging from turkey to extremely spicy.

The owner was incredibly nice when I went up to order. I was from out of town and she helped give me some ideas of fun places near by. The hot dog was good too. She gave me a free side as well just so I could try it since I said it looked good! I tipped well, but please support her now that i’m back in Atlanta!

Hot dogs = my guilty pleasure. I know that I should not like them as much as I do but I think that my mother must have eaten them while I was being baked because it defies logic to like them so much! Anyway, The Frankfurter does a nice job dishing out somewhat pricey dogs. I don’t think that they will win any«best of» competition but do a nice job and sure could not be any easier to get to and from

I was down by the water and walking around with a friend and they claimed that they were hungry . I of course was not really in the mood for eating and dodging pan handles is something I have started to get good . ANYWAY I had the Conney island with alittle bit of sour kraut with mustard and some catsup . it was aok dog. the bun was localy made and crispy . I had a small drink so it all came out to be around 7.00 . I did not try the cookies and I am a little upset I did not see the lemonade.

I love lemonade, in fact I am drinking it as I post this shit. This place has great lemonade with just the right amount of sugar. They toss an entire lemon into the mix and throw it in the cup. The employee had an amazing sense of humor. My buddy asked for a discount and she said, «get lost or I’ll throw a lemon at you.»

«Italian Hot» was a decent dog. Adequately spicy, though I wouldn’t really call it «hot». I could be biased though, as I am one to enjoy a good XXX hot sauce(Dave’s, Blair’s etc). The bun was a tad stale as well, although I’m not sure if the dry/hardness was intentional. Either way, I prefer my hot-dog buns steamed or at least soft. Overall, it wasn’t the best dog I’ve had in Seattle, and I’d expect more from a hot-dog place that doesn’t also have the disadvantage of having to deal with being mobile. Ah well. Try it once. Though ONCE is enough of this place for me. :-\

Perfectly good and filling hot dogs that go for just under $ 5. Great for someone that’s a meat-eater, in a rush, and happens to be on the waterfront. I don’t recommend this place for vegetarians, though. They have no veggie dogs so the only options for those who don’t eat meat are pasta salad, potato salad, and cookies.(There may be a couple more things, but nothing filling.) The salads are about $ 3 and are VERY small. My friend was bummed b/c she was still hungry after she finished her pasta salad(while we meat-eaters were feeling pretty good after finishing our dogs).
