Been in this chuck e cheese location several times and today is by far the worst experience of all. It’s not so much that certain machines did not spit out the correct number of tickets but it’s the attitude of a certain J-Nice that made this rating. I understand that working behind the counter to give out prizes can take long for certain kids but to tell them that«they are done. Yup so done» even though they still have points to consume is just plain rude. She is not an asset to the company nor is she a good example of how to satisfy a customer.

The girls that work here have the nastiest attitudes. I don’t know what witches den they dug them out of but when you get ticked because a customer says–«excuse me miss can you help me with a game,» that’s no cause for you to roll your eyes and cop an attitude. The girl at the front waiving people in like cattle could use a scholarship to charm school as well. Kudos to the managers for offering an apology and offering a few extra coins(which I didn’t need, gave them away).

As a kid in the 80s and 90s I loved this place. But now it seems like this place is just run down, understaffed and dirty. This place has a smell. All the games are just made to take your token as fast as possible. Then you get tickets good luck getting a toy for your kid. Than there is the people who come here, it not family from the area, seems like the hood.

Been planning our birthday lunch visit since December. Slow day with very little activity, which is good because I’m here with two older teen kids who just wanna have a fun experience, celebrate a birthday, without the crazy frenzy of screaming little ones. So far so good! Not feeling the pizza buffet, we asked for a large order of tater tots, bbq chicken wings, and a sandwich. This was time stamped on our receipt at 12:18pm. Since the entire reservation section was vacant, we were allowed to sit in front of the ‘band’ and watch the videos. Nice touch. It seemed like it was taking a long time, pizzas were being re-set, and there were no other table orders being delivered, sans one person. After 30 minutes, I walked up and saw our food sitting in the window and said to the kids, «Yeah, our stuff is ready, just wait» — right in front of the cook who was delivering pizzas. She proceeded to make two more trips to deliver pizzas to the buffet. We watched as several other employees walked back and forth from the kitchen to the buffet and front counter(two who were eating pizza). At 12:51pm, I walked back to the kitchen pick up area and got our orders .We took pictures of the receipt, food, and time stamp of when we got our food. It was warm, at best. We cleaned off our table and on our way out, tried to explain to the hostess what happened who argued that it was only two minutes that our food had been in the window and when I told her that waiting for an order for 40 minutes seemed like a long time under the circumstances, she told us — «Well I guess it seemed long to you. I told the cook you picked up your order». On a customer service level, it’s disheartening to be spoken to this way. It wasn’t busy, any employee could have run the food out to the table, 40 minutes is quite long for such a simple menu order. Yes, this is Chuck E Cheeses. I’ve been here many times and even hosted parties here(which they cater to like crazy and do a great job). However, every customer should matter; regardless of age.

Bday for 2 year old. Should be fun. Place is packed tonight but seems everyone is having a good time and lines are moving smoothly. Parents keep their kids wel behaved. Staff is nice and friendly.

I came here today(Tuesday afternoon of winter break) and it was awesome! Way more expensive than I remember as a child but good bang for your buck I suppose since all games only cost one coin no matter what. We got there within an hour of it opening and had our choice of seats and all the employees were very kind, helpful, and patient. I think if you eat what Chuck E. Cheese is known for(their pizza) you won’t be disappointed. Just based on looking at salad bar I wouldn’t eat it but MAN their pizza is yummy! For about 2.5 hours of being there, an individual pizza, a juice, and 60 tokens I spent about $ 30 on my niece. It was a nice experience and the bathrooms were surprisingly decent, pleasant surprise.

Have visited this chuck e cheese a few times for birthday parties and although I live in Hoffman Estates, we always come out this way for this specific CEC because of the space. There is tons of space here and although it gets busy, its never too crowded that I want to leave(I can’t handle crowds with 3 kids). The party hosts are great and really sweet, I’ve never had an issue with any type of service that I’ve had here(I’ve held a party here, was invited to parties here, and even just came to play). When you walk in there is a host that stamps the whole family with a special number code that ensures that every child goes home with an adult that they came with. This is awesome and I wish I saw this more at other companies. CEC really does go above and beyond in this aspect. As most people know, their pizza is really good and a large can feed a whole family. Most of their games work, though sometimes you’ll find a game that doesn’t. The staff is really great about fixing the machines on the spot if something has gone array.

No longer a place where a kid can be a kid. This location is under staffed on a Friday. Salad bar was nasty and missing items and the counter was short staffed. Dirty plates stayed on our table even and hour after we ate. Won’t return.

My family and I are super regulars at this location, but we’ve never actually made birthday reservations. This year we decided to book the birthday table and I have to say, the staff here exceeded my expectations. Our server was very polite, patient and upbeat. He came around to check on us often and never seemed overwhelmed throughout all the chaos and screaming kids. The best part was I really didn’t have to do a thing! It was a such a nice change of pace to be able to relax and enjoy the festivities with my son and his birthday guests, as I’m usually running around, cutting cake, serving people and cleaning up after people. I want to thank Chuck E. Cheese’s for going above and beyond to make my lil guys day extra special!

It’s been here since I was raising my children and now taking my grandkids to the same! It’s cheesy, a bit corny, but a great place for kids and families to enjoy a birthday party or just plain ol’ fun! I came here on a Saturday evening and easily managed to get a cleaned booth to have our pizza dinner for 4! Most of the games were working and they had plenty of staff to help with serving pizzas and servicing the game machines. There are fun little rides for the kiddos like the helicopter ride to the ceiling and back down by peddling hard and fast and it had a safety control so that if you didn’t put your seatbelt on, you couldn’t «fly» up in the air! After you play and I guess I didn’t like having to wait but we stopped playing when most parents wanted to leave, there were lines to get prizes and lines to get ticket vouchers, but all in all a good time was had and for about 3 – 4 hours of entertainment for a little over $ 40, it was well worth the trip.

Great Place to take the Niece & Nephew. I gotta blast some Zombies, pick Olives off my pizza, plenty of free parking. They even played some Hispanic Childrens’ Music in the background periodically; which was rather cool especially considering the background of over 30% of the people en el Casa. There were salad options as well if U want to eat healthy. They had carrots too U SILLYRABBIT.

Going to Chuck E. Cheese on a Saturday afternoon is a special level of hell, but there’s only so many times that you can promise the kids that you’ll go if they’re good before you have to actually deliver. So I spent a Saturday afternoon at Chuck E Cheese. And despite my attempts to prep myself, it was still painful. While it is admittedly pretty clean for a place the kids run around all day, the shear level of stickiness on every surface is too much for a grown person to handle. Also, the pizza is still gross. But you know, the kids love it, and the token deals really aren’t that bad for as much time as you get out of them. Honestly, I think I spent half of them on myself playing basketball. And one of my kids now has 16(16!) different ID cards… Who says you can’t be a safari explorer and an astronaut and a princess?

I have had my kids bday party and have been invited to many bday parties at this location and I must say today was the worst experience I ever had! My daughter turned 2 and although it was a very cold, snowy day we wanted to celebrate! Our host was rude the minute we met her! We spent over $ 300 today and they treated us like crap! They even tried charging us for the ticket blaster and it was included in our party package!!! I’m am so disappointed in the service we received today! Won’t be spending my money there again!

Ehh. Aged machines and toys. Dirty floors. Plastic food. Overpriced. It operated better 10 years ago. At least the young children are still lured by the façade of the gray mouse.

I was invited to my nephews birthday party here this past weekend. We arrived at 1:15 there was a line to get in. We waited about 15 minutes to get in. The line was just crazy with people pushing and shoving. The employees working the door kept making us move to the side because they were letting people out the same way we were walking in causing this to become very horrible situation when you have little children being pushed aside. It wasn’t crazy but I could see how fast this situation could get out of control of there was an emergency. You always hear about people getting trampled running out of a place. The employees are very rude and they seriously pack more people than they should into the building. You sit in the party area and they cram you in like sardines. Its very uncomfortable to sit and eat with people trying to get passed behind you. If you like a elbow in the head or a backside hitting you then fine, but they leave very little room for children and adults to sit. The game area has many broken games and again just crammed with people. We had a miserable time and will never come here again. Bad enough the food is a joke, at least the kids could have fun but not in a unsafe environment. Also just to add, when we left at 4pm there was still a line to get in. Can’t see why but my suggestion is stay clear away from here.

I would say three and a half stars. What can you say about a place ‘where a kid can be a kid’? Organized chaos. I was there for a 3-year old birthday party the other day and it went pretty well. Sure you get intimidated when you first walk in and are stopped by stanchions akin to those you see at amusement parks only to view the mass of little kids running around to playing from game to game. My husband and I were about 15 minutes late, but from the looks of it our party was already set up with tables by the animatron Chuck E Cheese main stage(along with several other parties) and the kids were already checking out the rides and the maze. About forty five minutes in the party settled back to the table where a veggie plate and buff wing apps were already waiting then shortly thereafter out came the pizzas. Scheduled parties must be on the same schedule with personal party hostesses because at the same time 4 different parties started to sing the birthday song to welcome in Chuck E Cheese himself! Our niece was loving every minute of it and our party hostess was very attentive and friendly. So although we aren’t on a set schedule to shuffle the party from one section to another within two hours I would say the planners do a good job of corralling the party back at the allotted ‘birthday festivities’ time with Chuck E Cheese, cake, present opening and all. Great job to the staff for being engaged with their parties. The only thing that hit both my husband and myself(shortly after we left) was upset stomachs. I know better than to expect gourmand delicacies, but I wasn’t expecting to be hit so early on. On the upside… they do serve beer after noon.

Not a fan of the place but my daughter really wanted her birthday party this year here. It took months for me to agree, it is her bday and all ;) but i LIVE for planning parties so having someone do all the work scared me. However these location is the cleanest, least smelliest and my hostess was AMAZING! I think her name was Tiffany. She was very nice, I told her how I wanted to food to come out etc and everything went perfect and smooth. And my daughter was the happiest girl in the world!

Great value if you find a Sunday paper coupon. How can you beat $ 25 for a pizza, 4 drinks, and 55 tokens that can keep the kids entertained for 2 hours? Place is clean, you can always find a booth, most games are in working order, and all games use 1 token. Can get a bit crowded but never a long wait to play a game. I was leery about the pizza but they did make it crispy as requested and my girls loved the eat-in and play experience. That’s all that matters.

My conversation with a friend this past Sunday night: me: I just got home, but I’m about to go to Chuck E Cheese for my cousin’s birthday party. friend: They serve beer there, right? me: Yup, we’ve actually drank there before. friend: Sweet. Let’s go. Who wouldn’t want to go to a place with kids screaming and running around as if they just chugged 10 pixie sticks at once? Trust me, you need the beer here. They only have miller, but the 20 oz is $ 4, which really isn’t bad. And they serve wine out of the tap also! Classy all the way here. My pizza took over an hour to get to my table, and that was only when I asked a nice girl to check on it for me. They still hadn’t started on the pizza after the 2nd time she went to check! An hour had already passed, and I was starving. They severely burnt my fries too. And frankly, the pizza was awful and had a weird aftertaste kinda like how Robitussin tastes. We also ordered a cake and waited 30 minutes for that too. Aren’t those pre-made? They obviously forgot about that too because when they saw us waiting at the counter discussing how long the cake was taking the employees bounced up and got it ready. I will say though, they are woefully understaffed here for how crowded it was. I feel bad for those there who were working hard and got severely backed up. One surprise is the large unlimited salad bar they have. It was quite fresh and pretty good. My cousin took full advantage, at times making a plate of just ham, bacon, lettuce, cheese, and dressing. Now that’s my kinda salad. So this place is heaven for kids, but thank god they serve beer and have air hockey, or it would’ve been a very, very long and loud night.
