I was there for Steak Burrito for the first time . The workers were too loud and they look a like a guys serve in the jail with lots of tattoo and creepy looking. And their attitude and personality matches the jail level …

Horrible service. I got an email from Moe’s for a discounted entrée with a drink. I was buying food for three people but as soon I walked into the empty restaurant during lunch time Mr. Tattoo was staring at the coupon in my hand. He then went on to demand to see it before I could order any food. I continued to be interrogated about the coupon. For a place with no people in it during lunch you think I wouldn’t be treated like I was trying sell ice to an Eskimo. I didn’t even try the food I just walked out and went to one of the 20 other options. With prices as high as chipotle why go here with this type of service?

Came here for the first time today because my aunt wanted to try it out. My aunt thought it would be more of a restaurant so we were both caught off guard when we walked in and it was basically as if chipotle and taco bell had a baby. Same concept, u choose from tacos, burritos, a bowl, quesadillas, nachos, or something like a crunchwrap supreme, and choose your ingredients. My aunt got nachos and i got the salad bowl. We also tried their queso. Disappointed, and im a queso lover. It tasted off to me and the amount of chips given was no where near enough. It was okay, would still choose chipotle over this place. I’ve been going to the bathroom ever since. I do like the fact they had a bunch of different salsas, and the mango one was pretty good.

Walked in during winter and was greeted by very sweet employees. To me, the meat has more FLAVOR than chipotle or qdoba combined. More spices, more tender meats. I also appreciate the variety and individuality of the salsas!!! I would totally come back here for more!

I had last eaten at Moe’s in Atlanta years ago and was a regular customer. Just had a horrible experience at the Skokie, IL location. The meat was cold and they were out of ice. I called corporate and let them know. They forwarded the concern to the franchise owner. The franchise owner, Mike, told me that customers called him to complain that I was eating at the salsa bar and making a scene. I did neither. He asked why I would want ice when I didn’t pay for a drink. I told him that I like ice with my water. I had questioned why I was charged extra and was told it was for ½ chicken and ½ pork. I don’t mind being charged extra but would’ve liked to have know about the upcharge prior to paying. He never addressed why they meat was cold or offer any solution besides ranting at me. I asked him for his last name and he said that he didn’t have to give it to me. Please avoid this location at any cost.

Tonight was the second time since Christmas that I’ve tried to go to this Mo’s location and they closed early. The night shift crew need to be more focused on serving clients then leaving early! Don’t waste your time with this location!

I came here soon after it opened thinking it was going to be great. A friend had eaten at another Moe’s and raved about it, I was a bit disappointed in the lack of taste in the meat and overall bowl I ordered. I may try them again though since they had just opened and maybe they hadn’t gotten their system going yet.

Second day in a row coming to Moe’s after hitting the gym for lunch and they didn’t disappoint. Great freshly prepared foods that have all my taste buds dancing and the staff is personlable and fast. A must to add them as part of mt work out routine

The food is good, but the employees seemed confused and disinterested. Better value than Chipotle and good options for vegetarians, but my family prefers Chipotle over all.

Stay away! For the price you can eat better a real authentic Mexican restaurant. Furthermore, our chips had a rubber glove in them(the ones used to prepare food). All we got was an «I’m so sorry» from what appeared to be manager several minutes later. Our tacos barely have any meat as everything is measured(4 or 5 pieces of meat). I can get a giant burrito packed with meat for less. Go to Taco Bell and save yourself some money.

Rude employees and sub-par food. No matter where your customer is coming from, you do not treat them poorly or bash a company they work for. It took way too long to make a burrito. Make my food then you can go back and consolidate your veggies. Priorities.

Moe’s is legit my fave place for a quick meal that isn’t fast food drive through. The food is yummy and the peeps are fun! «Welcome to Moe’s!!» I have never had any issues with this location, way better than Chipotle, hands down.

Overall, the experience was lackluster. My partner and I decided to try it out since its new. Upon walking in everyone shouts«Welcome to Moe’s!» It went down hill from there. After telling the first guy behind the counter what i wanted, he grabs a piece of foil and literally stops to look out the window at someone walking by for four to five seconds. This sounds like no big deal, but actually walk through having to stand waiting for someone to ask you wwhat type of protein you want for that amount of time… it was borderline awkward. The rest of the employees(aside from the peppy manager) weren’t much more«present» throughout the rest of the trip. They were just there and not happy about it. Food was priced more than Chipotle, but with half the flavor. Despite having chicken, queso, guac and two kinds of salsa… bland. Stick with Chipotle, or if in a bind Qdoba, there’s nothing exceptional here that would make you choose it over them. Probably won’t be back.

I feel bad for their employees. Shouting«welcome to Moe’s» is the most belittling thing you could do to a human being. I once had a similar gig, believe it or not as a personal banker at Chase. We had to welcome people with«what brings you into the branch today.» It was in the corporate handbook, thus making it the most insincere gesture ever. If you make people do it well then it just becomes annoying. As for the food… it sucks. I spent $ 14 dollars for a burrito bowl deal.(I mixed my meat which added $ 3 to the overall price but still) So here is my main point – Outpricing Chipotle doesn’t make you better than Chipotle. It does make people go elsewhere that touts health benefits over phoniness.

My friend and I both ordered a burrito bowl combo and we both thought it was overpriced for the quality of food.

Always saw this spot in Schaumberg and always wanted to try it. The fact that this new location in Skokie opened made it real convenient. The menu was large and confusing. My sister got the Julia Guilia? Even the server didn’t know what that was. I was in the mood for nachos and got that. What they did was grab some tortilla chips and drenched it in some nasty white cheese sauce that doesn’t taste like cheese at all, but maybe old milk. Then I added corn guac, beans, jalepenos, tomatoes at no extra cost which was nice. But it was still pretty bad. How can you mess up nachos? My sisters Julia Guila had no flavor really bland. Like a poor mans Crunchwrap supreme from taco bell but maybe triple the price. And her Guila came with chips, essentially my nachos minus the toppings? If I knew this I would have gotten something else. This place is not FASTFOODBAD, its BADINGENERAL. We couldn’t finish our food, and that’s a rareity even for bad food. Atleast taco bell is a value, and Chipolte is fresh. This place has Chipolte prices but is horrible. Like others have said go to Chipolte, Taco bell, or even TBK over this place.

I ate there on the first day it opened. plenty of staff. Horrible ordering process. They had a grand opening special, but the everyday prices are high . The food is sub-par and it’s worse than Taco Bell. My wife and I had horrible stomach pains that lasted 24 – 48 hours The«cheese“sauce is white Cheez-Whiz and the beans look like they are from a can. Go to Chipolte across the street for consistent food that does not make you run to the toilet.

The problem with this place is it’s boring. Yea, you watch them make your burrito in front of you. The chips that they provide are coming out of an oven. There are multiple options for salsa. But none of it tastes exciting or authentic. The location feels like any other corporate fast food place. It’s not horrible or disgusting. Just very bland…

Staff friendly but having a good time chatting amongst themselves. The nachos were unlike any I have ever eaten. First of all they used«gringo chips»(thin, overly processed), and became super soggy in seconds because they poured thin, warm queso over the chips. Normally nachos(except in movie theaters, shudder!) have real cheese sprinklled and then brouled a few seconds. The nachos were a big wet mess.

Yikes. The food was awful, and the employees had no idea what they were doing. Why aren’t people trained before a restaurant is opened? I in no way blame them, because obviously they don’t know any better. I was excited to try Moe’s out since seeing it featured on Undercover Boss. Nothing like I expected. Very disorganized, and the food was very unappetizing. I ordered 2 burritos that cost me $ 19! I barely ate half and threw it out. Barely any meat, and the steak that was inside tasted awful. Will never go back.
