They sent me spoiled mango lassi and stale hard rice. When I called, the owner started shouting on the phone and called me a liar. Like literally shouting at me and got so hostile. I am not sure why I would go through the trouble to lie about something especially when I told him I didn’t want a refund– that I just wanted to let them know it was spoiled. I am no sure what was worst, the AWFUL and RUDE customer service or the spoiled mango lassi. Please avoid buying from this place. Worst worst customer experience of my life

I used to like this place but today I’ve experienced the worst customer service from here. First of all they close at 11:45. I roughly ordered around 11:05 — 11:15. After 2 minutes of ordering the food they he canceled my order and gave me a call saying that I’m too far and so they can’t come to me. I said«you guys close at 11:45» and the male speaking with me said«I know but my driver is not here, he go home early«I was like okay that’s not professional, I am a customer. I hung up out of spite due to frustration. Then I called back 1 minute later telling them that this is not the way to treat customers when we are the ones paying them for their service and food ! And he told me «you’ve never ordered from here before«what does that have to do with Anything? I am still a paying customer. And I have ordered from there before. Then he continues on exclaiming how ho driver is gone and it’s a holiday(it’s only Tuesday, thanksgiving is on Thursday, nice try). And then he abruptly hung up. I tried to call back to demand some sort of reimbursement for the inconvenience, it’s only the right thing to do right? If u care about your customers gratuity? And guess what? As the phone rung 20 – 30 times. He picks up the phone and hangs it up. What are we in the 6th grade? I call again, same thing. I call again he just picks up the phone and leaves it on unattended. I don’t understand why he’s avoiding to solve a resolution for this inconvenience. Thank you for reading.

I used to love this place, but I will never go back again after today. I ordered the lamb saag and found a SNAIL shell in it. I called to let them know and ask for a refund and they denied that it was their fault. I had ordered the meal for lunch, and found the shell while eating the leftovers for dinner. They said that in the 8 hours since I ordered, that shell could have come from anywhere. The saag was in the fridge in the closed container it came in for the whole day, so this is not really possible. Disgusting. Disrespectful.

Delicious Indian food through the door of «Union Square Pizza.» They have 3 different menus: pizza, Greek, and Indian food – just to confuse us all. Haven’t tried the pizza, supposedly the souvlaki was good per my mother-in-law, but the Indian food is fantastic. I’ve never had a meat samosa that I liked before; the ones here are great. The tandoori platters are delicious(and tons of food), although be aware – spicy here does mean spicy, even as far as my Indian-born, spice-loving father-in-law was concerned. I’m lactose-intolerant, and they’ve always been really good(and friendly) about helping me figure out which menu options I can have, or which ones they can make without milk.

I wish I read the review here before ordering on doodler. They send me nasty old chicken and as a result I threw up. The smell was so horrible that couldn’t eat anything else I ordered. Very dish was chicken and they all had bad old chicken. When I called them they schemed At me and said if they don’t meet my standards it’s not their problem. I should call foodller. They also overcharged me I don’t know why. So please save your money or eat at home. Just never bother to order from this rude people

I ordered through Foodler, but didn’t receive what I ordered. When I called to notify them of this, he didn’t believe me(even though I offered to send pictures) and he was very rude. Eventually he said«Fuck you, I don’t care», and hung up on me. The food was mediocre as well, not worth the money. Don’t order from here!

Ok, Aman Palace– you deserve more credit than Unilocalers have given you thus far– you’re some of the best Indian food in town! Other Indian restaurants I enjoy include Punjabi Dhaba and Kebab Factory in Cambridge, but here’s why I order again and again from Aman Palace: 1) They listen to me when I ask for my food to be SPICY! The other places can never seem to sufficiently make my nose run when I ask for the food to be prepared spicy. Aman gets it right every time. 2) The delivery is prompt every time. The food is also served piping hot at my door consistently– it’s like it time warped from the stove to my house. Thank you. 3.) The price is right! I order for my fiancé and myself via Foodler. Any order on Foodler with them you can take 25% $ 20 or more! 2 entrees plus a naan and tip rings in under $ 25. 4.) The food is GREAT! I get paneer tikka masala– the sauce is a nice consistency, flavorful, and they don’t skimp on the paneer. Jeff gets chicken tikka masala or chicken jaffrezi– really likes it! Unilocalers, give these guys a try and a great rating– it is well deserved!

It was fairly bland and dishes that are normally spicy at most places, were completely unspicy here. It wasn’t bad, just not good. I’ll look for other places to order from next time.

I was compelled to write a review for this place after several times ordering through Foodler, since tonight they were still considerably earlier than the estimated time despite a deluge flood of rain that began after I ordered. It’s rare when a place is that consistent with delivery time. I almost always order the chicken korma, which is fantastic. The naan is pretty good but not always the best. Samosas were perfectly fried without being dry or greasy. Never had any problem here.

I was always a skeptic when it came to Indian food. Growing up, I didn’t eat it because my dad didn’t like it. If he didn’t like something, it must have sucked, because to my naïve little self, he was the only one in the world with good taste. So, I’m a grown up, and grown ups try curry. Because it’s the right thing to do. So, I recently decided to give it a try, with some persuasion from (because this restaurant gets you a 25% rebate on your first order, woot woot!) I have to say, I’m writing this with minimal Indian food experience. But I’ve been eatin’ food for 29 years, thus I know when food doesn’t suck. The quality was fresh, although I noticed the first time, when I ordered an appetizer combo, that it didn’t taste as fresh. Chicken Tikka and Pakora was dry. Just ordered a second time, and got individual orders of apps, and it was all YUM. Chicken Tikka Masala was good. Ordered it mild, and it was pretty gosh-darn spicy, but definitely tolerable. Saffron Rice that comes with it is BOMB. Just like Persian rice. YUM. Chicken Jalfrezi is a must try… flavors were REALLY good in this dish! EXTRAYUM. Garlic Naan was good, but REALLY garlicky. Desserts were both meh. I would pass on those next time. Both times I ordered delivery, and it was less than ½ hour. This time the driver asked me if I could tip him in cash, but I didn’t mind, and ran up to get the cash. He got $ 0.50 less because I’m a passive aggressive schmuck. WELP. Resentment with a smile! :) I hope to try some other Indian spots, and re-analyze my review. In short(and in CAPS) YUMBOMBYUMREALLYEXTRAYUMREALLYWELP

Like a lot of people, I’ve used them via Foodler for delivery. The Malai Kofta and Shahi Paneer Korma I’ve ordered are watery and less flavorful than almost any other Indian food place I’ve been to in the area. The naan was serviceable. But the delivery last time was really goddamn quick… I placed the order at 11PM and received my meal at 11:20…unreal! That’s more like takeout time than delivery time. I would never go here for the food. But I might order from here again if most other Indian food places are closed and I have a craving for sub-continent delicacies. I can’t really bring myself to give anything less than four stars to a restaurant these days… and that delivery was REALLY quick.

I just ordered delivery and I was so impressed I had to get on Unilocal and write a review before I forgot. I ordered from Foodler and got a 25% off, making this meal incredibly affordable. I got an order of Veggie Samosas(comes with 2), Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, and a Mango Lassi. Everything was delicious and cost me under $ 20(with tip)!! The Samosas were piping hot and crispy. The Naan was decent, not the best I’ve had, but certainly not the worst. The CTM was pretty good, too. Rice came with the tikka masala but it was just enough for one serving, and the portion of tikka masala is big enough for 2 servings at least. I asked them to make it medium spicy since several reviewers said it was bland. I didn’t find it to be bland at all — so maybe that’s the trick. The mango lassi was excellent, too! All in all I am very happy and will certainly get delivery from them again.

I just ordered delivery from , and the food arrived 20 minutes later. I will order again. This is the first time. The food was ok. Didn’t get enough rice for the amount of Chicken Vindaloo I received. I LOVED the garlic naan! Instead of having the garlic on top of the naan, it was inside a thick piece of naan. Mmmmmm good.

I think I am becoming addicted to their food. We ordered through Foodler. It was our first delivered Indian food experience so I was happy with how well it went. So well that, we have since ordered from them every week. The only thing odd is how they always ring the doorbell about 400 times in a row. I always know it’s them though so maybe that’s like their calling card. I would also love to have more sauce included in the order. I don’t have any real complaints. Our orders: I don’t eat meat so I always get veg meals. My appetizer addiction has grown now to where I am ordering the veg platter as my meal. They make great cheese pakora, samosas, and veg tikki. My family loves meat however and they seem to particularly enjoy the chicken Tikki Masala and the chicken naan. My son loves the mango lassi and he recommends that I add that in here.

This review is based on one delivery experience(via Foodler w/25% discount). Basically it was the definition of «Meh,» but I might give them another shot. FWIW… the delivery arrived promptly and everything I ordered was there. Their one glimmer of hope? The Chicken Jalfrezzi(which was quite tasty). But this place doesn’t really give me any good reason to choose it over the many other fine Indian spots in Boston/Cambridge(e.g., Samraat, Desi Dhaba, etc.).

Should I have called them directly? I have no idea… Sometimes when I’m hungry and feel like being lazy, I don’t even want to make a phone call. Then, I get all confused, and don’t like to be redirected to other websites, or pay delivery charges. I’ll do more research next time. Promise First order : Chicken Tikka Masala(hot & served with rice and chutney) Raita Chapati Mixed pickle I vow to never eat this«mixed pickle» again. It was a strange combination of salty and sour. It was not a good combo. It also went against everything else that was on my plate. Overall the food was bland, and fairly tasteless. The chicken tikka masala came and it was spicy. It didn’t have a good flavor, the consistency was kind of pulpy. No bueno, Aman, you done me wrong. The raita was sour, it didn’t taste good. I don’t think that I will be giving them repeat business. I should’ve just gone with what I knew… It’s such a hard letdown to get bad delivery. Story of my life this whole month!

I love Indian food, and Aman Place is one of the few that delivers later in the evening. I have now ordered delivery from Aman three times. Three times a charm; I am never making that mistake again. THEFIRSTTIME Delivery took about an hour and a half. That’s a long wait when I was only ordering enough food for two people. When everything arrived, it was a little cold. I’m assuming the driver got lost; not a huge deal. I did have a problem with the food. The chicken tikka masala was sort of lacking in… chicken. It was more like a soup or sauce. The vegetable samosas were very bland, surprisingly so. Possibly the worst samosas I have ever tasted. THESECONDTIME This time, delivery was fast. The food, however, still left so much to be desired. The naan was stiff and tasted stale. Once again, the most bland samosas I have ever ordered. The jalfrazi was so thin, it resembled a broth, and the taste was very weak. The tandoori skewers were terrible; they were very plain, not marinated at all, and very overcooked. That’s when I swore I would never order from Aman Place again. THIRDTIME’S ANEFFINGCHARM I had some company and they really wanted Indian food, and Aman was our only delivery option. I figured it couldn’t hurt to give them one last chance. And okay, I get it, lesson learned. This is what I ordered: Two(2) orders of chicken tikka masala(these both come with rice) One extra order of rice One 2 liter of Coke This is what was delivered: One(1) order of chicken tikka masala with rice One 2 liter of Fanta orange soda I’m sure I looked confused when I saw the orange soda, and the delivery driver immediately put on a brilliant smile and announced, in a very thick accent, «Fanta very good, Fanta go with EVERYTHING!» It was too funny to argue with, so I gave him $ 25.00(the total was $ 21 and change) and came inside to discover that I was missing half the order. I immediately called Aman Place, and I swear to god, this is how the actual conversation went down: Me: I have two small problems; I’m missing an order of tikka masala, an order of extra rice, and I think we were given orange soda instead of Coke. Aman Place: Orange soda is Fanta. Fanta go with everything! Me: I’m… sure it does, but do you have Coke? Aman Place: No, we have Fanta. Fanta go with everything! Is very delicious. Me: Okay, well – (click) Yes, he hung up after that dazzling defense of the powers of orange soda. So I called back, and asked about the missing food. The same man answered and responded, «Do you want the rest of your order?» I explained that I had just paid for it, so yes, I would like it, please. It arrived almost two hours later. Ice cold. There will not be a fourth mistake. They suck. And orange effing soda does not go with ANYTHING.

After a particularly salty experience with my usual Indian takeout place, I couldn’t bring myself to look at their menu without craving a gallon of water. My thirst for Indian food, however, apparently cannot be quenched, thus my mission for a new go-to spot materialized. Shamefully, I order the same thing every time and simply wanted a place that served these things, along with Coca Cola. Don’t judge. Having ordered from Aman a couple of times, and intending to continue ordering from them, there a few things to be noted: –The delivery is quick. I usually order through Foodler and it always comes in 45 minutes or less. And everything arrives piping hot! –The vegetable samosas are fantastic. Crispy, not oily, with a nice little kick to the flavor. Not spicy… just pleasantly far from bland. –The chicken saag is excellent. It’s on the spicy side, the chicken is not chewy, the portion is enough for 2 – 3 meals and it’s $ 11. Yes, please. And now for the only, but admittedly very big, draw back: –Their naan is consistently lacking. It’s thin, it’s flavorless and it’s stale. No fluffiness to be found. If you order garlic naan, don’t expect any garlic. Despite the not-awesome naan, Aman is now officially in my takeout rotation, replacing my usual spot for the time being, with a less-salty, cheaper and often quicker option for Indian.
