Interesting story on how I found this restaurant. My mechanic dropped me off here in my own truck so i could eat while I waited for him. Anyway, I was greeted nicely and was seated with a complimentary chip/salsa. I ordered a Michelada with Modelo and man did it hit the spot. I love eating Octopus so In my limited spanish I asked for«Dos Pulpo Tacos» and«one fish taco» :) The food was delivered promptly and before I knew it, I was full! They constantly checked on me which was nice. I dont know when I will be back, but im glad I found this place.

I live near here and drive by all the time, each time time thinking that I should check it out and never do. My parents had the same thought and decided we should go as a family and try it. I am glad we did because I really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was great. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal… well except my mom. She didn’t complain but when asked about it she just mentioned that the steak had no flavor but that everything else was good. Unexpectedly the woman(who seemed to be in charge) brought my mom another steak that had been seasoned well. She wanted my mom’s first visit to be good. I love that they care that much. I am sure we will be back, especially for some of the deals during the week that the woman told us about. Friendly staff and delicious food, that’s all I expect from a place and they’ve got it.

This place doesn’t look appealing from the outside, but don’t let this fool you!!! This restaurant is a hidden gem. The service is great, so courteous, polite and attentive. The warm tortilla chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. We ordered the octopus tostada with ketchup which was huge and tasty! The battered fish tacos were amazing, the gobernador taco was really really good. The tacos are hot, fresh and really filling, they do not skimp on anything, they fill those tacos up. Definitely my new favorite fish tacos spot. Just a side note. Beware the house salsa in the bottle, it is really spicy but really good. Don’t over do it. :)

Came here for the 2nd time this afternoon. The first time I had the fish tacos. Out of this world amazing. So I had to try it again. This time I tried the carne Asada nachos. Presentation was that of a five star restaurant. And they tasted that good as well. Very friendly staff with the sweetest waitress ever. I will definitely be back and I suggest you all come along.

The freshest and most delicious seafood place. My boyfriend introduced me to this hidden restaurant in lemon grove and its my favorite place for my seafood fix. The service is always amazing and attentive to you. I highly recommend the ceviche loca accompanying a nice cold michelada. Parking is limited but if you want amazing service and fresh yummy seafood try this place on a nice sunny day.

I’ve never been here but my brother just brought a bunch of Carne Asad tacos to his house and let us try them and they were so good! $ 1 per taco M-F and these tacos were legit. Their salsa is also pretty flavorful and spicy! I haven’t had spicy salsa in SD in quite a while so I was really pleased. Each taco is loaded with tons of meat and is layered with 2 corn tortillas so technically 1 taco is equivalent to 2. If you’re on a budget or just looking for some good tacos, check out this place!

OMG! This place is as legit as it gets. I ordered a pata de mula and oyster cocktail(sooo hard to find in SD) and also a shrimp burrito, hands down the best shrimp burrito I’ve ever had, they use this white sauce that’s not overpowering and it also comes with this salsa that will knock your boots off(in a good way, of course). It’s not in the best area of SD but right when you walk in they treat you like family, this was my first time here and they were so friendly and they treated us like we’ve been coming here for years. Bottom line: amazing Mexican food and top notch customer service.

The fantastic $ 1 fish tacos on Mondays drew me in, but it’s the BEST fish taco hot sauce that keeps me coming back. It’s a worth a drive if you love Mexican food like I do. I am picky with my salsas and taco shops. Too many phone it in with their hot sauces that don’t compliment specific dishes. Theirs does. It is perfectly tailored to seafood

Spicy Yum! Ordered aguafresce tostadas, and fried battered fish tacos for taco Tuesdays… Fish tacos: stuffed with Cabbage/lettuce thinly chopped so it was crispy, and fish tacos was fresh and stayed crispy! Not overly flavored so you actually taste the taco, but may not be flavorful enough for some. There’s always hot sauce and salsa, but I enjoyed it as is. Shrimp tostadas: I had over 12 – 13 medium sized shrimps which I thought was generous. A little sour, but still spicy goodness. Probably will stick with tacos next time. Meal Came out to $ 8+… Sad to find out their $ 1 fish tacos are MONDAY and happy hour for small meat $ 1 tacos(chicken, pork, or beef) are everyday until 7pm. Fish and seafood apparently too expensive for this deal! Spacious with outdoor patio. No one there really there the night I came probably because it was raining and cold, but I could see myself hanging out there. Server was friendly. …ill be back.

Visiting from New Jersey my nephew took me there. he has good taste! Sat outside. very cool décor. like being in Mexico. He took charge ordering. The soup.name of it ?? Sorry. but Excellent! Chips and salsa.delicious.told me to order fried fish tacos. I like grilled better than fried so I asked if I could have one grilled and one fried. both delicious but I would definitely get grilled all the way. the seasonings, moist flavorful fish, actually dripping on the plate, fresh toppings. I was happy. had Mexican coke. Rather have a beer though. This place rocks !

I am not known to to decline a good fish taco, and when one of my colleagues told me about this little place, I figured I stop by after work on my way home. I ordered a pair of battered fish tacos, and asked them to go light on the sauce. The tacos arrived looking good and the fish was perfectly fried( ) The batter was very crispy and a deep golden brown, and I like the light cream, fresh cabbage, onions, and tomatoes( ). The white fish inside was perfect. It was tender and flaky with a mild flavor.( ) A good fish for sure, but if I were to provide some critique, it would be that the batter could of used a little salt. The meal came with a complimentary generous cup fish consume and some corn tortilla chips( ). The soup had very good developed flavor created by the cooked down vegetables and fish stock. It was rich, salty, and filled with tender vegetables( ). A god consume and perfect on a cold day. The place has some seating inside and plenty on the eclectic outside patio. It’s not much to look at, but it works.
