28⁄65 is one of my St. Chuck gotos and a frequent stop when visiting my dad. It’s a huge space, reminiscent of the previous tenant-Krueger’s I believe-with a ton of TVs showing ALL the sports matches, if that’s your thing. There’s also a massive bar, small game room, and a more family friendly dining room. The restaurant is very kid friendly-helpful when you’ve got 2 million nieces and nephews(large Catholic family.) The food is standard bar food. Burgers, nachos, and a few entrees. The burgers are hefty and juicy-also the name of my new memoirs. It’s a solid burger; add some tater tots and you’ll be satisfied. The chicken nachos and chicken tacos($ 6 on the HH menu) were bountiful. They have an extensive beer list and criminally cheap happy hour food/beverage deals. Check their website for details.

Good food and a wide variety of beverages. The service has always been pretty quick and attentive. It’s a great place to go when you want to watch a sports game and have some food and a drink.

This place was never terrific, but we went occasionally anyway to watch sports. The food has always been over priced and mediocre. They used to have some pretty decent late night specials but they got rid of them for some reason. Not sure what’s going on here. Seems to be a change in management recently and it’s not good! On our last visit we witnessed a heavy set, balding«manager» being extremely rude to staff and it was way out of line. So rude! Whatever is going on, it’s not good! We are done with this place!

Blantons on teh Rocks for $ 6.00 are you kidding me! Everywhere else in town is $ 12-$ 16 per drink. Food is amazing for the price. Happy hour everyday and food specials everyday. In town 4 days all 4 days ate there. Chicken tacos with Mango salsa is my favorite.

Their food is somewhere in the middle, not great but not bad. They have a huge variety of beer so that’s great but for some one who is recently 21 I’d like to see a drink menu, they have one for beer but none for the other liquors they sell and since I’m not yet knowledgeable on drinks it’s very awkward to try to order a drink other than beer without a menu or drink names. All in all an okay experience.

Best place in town. The buffalo ravioli and the spicy burger are top notch. I would seriously recommend this place. The price are great as well.

This place has great potential. The inside is really nice and inviting. Great beer choices and prices but the food was terrible. We had the appetizer plater. The tortilla chips were stale and the ravioli was hard and had hot sauce just slopped on it. We ordered the steak even though the server said it wasn’t that great. He was right. I ordered medium rare and it came medium well and had no flavor. The broccoli was barely steamed and the cheese potatoes were clearly microwaved. I enjoy trying new places but this place needs better food!

The food’s okay, nothing fantastically special, but nothing upsetting or awful, either. It’s perfectly serviceable, middle-of-the-road fare. That said, what keeps me returning is their wide variety of draft beers. Every time I come in, there’s something new to try, and old favorites to fall back on should I not like them. If you’re a fan of craft brews, you owe it to yourself to stop in.

I want to start by saying i am not a picky eater or a food snob in any way. I think if you are going to spend money on food somewhere it should be at the very least decent. The bar portion of this place has always been great. And when they first opened the food was great too. The food was for the most part freshly made, they didn’t use a lot of frozen items and I regularly loved eating and drinking there. Then it seems new management stepped in and decided to cut corners by putting out microwaved, bagged, pre frozen, and noticeably sub par food. The first time I got stale chips, undercooked wings, and potato skins that were seemingly from the freezer section at Walmart, I was hopeful that maybe they just hired a new chef who was still learning the ropes. After my third visit of having food not worth wasting money on, I asked to talk to the manager and told him my thoughts on their decline of food quality. I told him I’ve been coming here since it opened and notice that the food quality has gotten worse and its noticeable that they are reheating frozen items that they used to make fresh and using worse quality ingredients. Instead of taking this criticism to better his restaurant portion of the bar and perhaps retaining a customer, he denied that any changes were made and the food is the same as it’s always been then turned and walked away. I have been reading reviews on occasion in hopes that I could go back and enjoy a meal but after reading that they cannot make a decent BLT because for some reason they find it too difficult to cook bacon in anything but a microwave, I think I’ll save my money. This is a shame because I have really been wanting to go back there but I have zero confidence that I can go with my family, eat, drink, and enjoy it without having to send something back or second guessing what I ordered because of their inconsistencies in the kitchen.

Some of the food is good… Some not so much! I ordered the BLT… The bacon was like the already cooked bacon… It seemed like they microwaved it! Not good will never get it again. The beer is great, they have a little of everything. They just need to pick it up with the food!

Horrible service. Waited 25 minutes to get drinks and when we got them they weren’t right. Forgot our appetizer and then offered it on the house. It came to us cold. Food was okay but more half of it was cold. Don’t recommend, never coming back!

Great spot for lunch or dinner if there is a game you want to watch. They offer roughly 20 – 30 craft beers on tap and the food menu is fairly extensive too. There are multiple TVs on every wall so there isn’t a bad seat if you are trying to watch a game. The restaurant is also quite large so I have never had wait to get a table or spot at the bar.

This was my first time dining here for lunch. The restaurant was not very busy by was an inviting atmosphere. The food was good, pretty typical bar food, but I did like having tater tots as an option with my wrap despite the up charge. I’m sure their focus is more on the beer and vodka side of the business. I tried a seasonal pumpkin beer, which was good, but had it not been lunch I would have tried others. The service was slow, which was surprising since the restaurant wasn’t very busy. Having been in the business, however, I always cut the servers some slack when it comes to slow service knowing that it could be the kitchen or other obstacles. I would like to try it again and enjoy a few more drinks next time!

Favorite place for beer! Amazing happy hour prices for crafts, and food is great too! Service may be a little slow but it’s a small price to pay for $ 2.50 Stone IPA :) I’ll be back!

Great beer selection and a great bar atmosphere. Always sit at the bar and they always have an up to date beer menu which changes all the time. It does usually take a long time to get service. I understand, I also serve, but sometimes I do feel a little neglected. Their food is typical bar food. Nothing amazing, it is what you would expect from a bar. There have been a few bartenders that stand out and have great knowledge of all the beers. When I do get a chance to talk to the bartenders they are friendly and knowledgable. It just sometimes takes a few minutes to get them over when it’s busy. Overall I enjoy going to this bar. I go a few times a month and it’s really fun to try new beer.

Slow service. Waitress was uninformed about beer questions. Small hamburger choice was average. Temperature good, meat dry. House made chips large portion but needed more salt. Buffalo chicken sandwich average. Sweet potato fries good. Noise level: over the top!!! Trivia night on Thursdays. We sat in Game room, much quieter. I wouldn’t go back.

Having a night out with my lady. Came to 28⁄65 for a great evening. Had lots of cold beers and hot wings. All of this was very pleasing. Atmosphere was great. Will be returning.

Great happy hour specials! Went on a Friday after work and it was super packed! $ 2 well drinks! $ 1.50 draft beers! Appetizer specials that range from $ 3 — $ 6. The experience was OK. Not bad, not stellar. I’d visit again. The staff was nice and food came out pretty quick despite the packed house.

I feel like this place gets a bad rep. While I don’t have a ton of first hand experience with many of their dinner menu items, I do eat here regularly for lunch, and their buffalo toasted rav’s are really tough to beat. Additionally, they have an excellent selection of beers, and quite a few times they get beers that I have never either heard of before, or beers that I at least have never tried. Some of my favorites have been the Cat Spit Stout, Dragon’s Milk, and the Bourbon County. We always sit at the bar, and the service there is always fast and very friendly. I enjoy a bartender that offers a joke, or just is a good conversationalist. If you want to try some new beers, head on over and give them a try, and don’t skip on those ravs!
