Hubby and I are big DD fans. Today has been a great day so far and I love Dunkin’ Donuts, so I expected an experience of above average at least from the St. Louis airport location. Not so much. I ordered a bacon/egg/cheese bagel and large iced decaf. First problem came when I went to pay with the DD app on my phone. «We’ve been trying to get them to let us have a scanner, but…» The young lady who waited on me didn’t know how to take that form of payment, so I waited a few minutes until the next associate was available. She tried three times to manually enter the long code before she gave up and asked someone else. The next associate entered it okay, but then we had to wait for yet another to hang up the phone so the machine could connect to the server. Even after that ten-minute experience, my bagel was not ready yet. My coffee tasted great while I waited, just the way I like it. By the time my bagel was delivered, I needed to rush off to my gate with it. Finally got into my seat and settled, and then I took a nice bite. Uh oh… this thing was so nasty that I contemplated spitting it out. The bagel was like rubber, so it was tough to even get a bite into my mouth. The egg, bacon and cheese all together tasted«off» somehow and had a very unpleasant mushy texture, like nothing I have experienced. I managed to choke it down, but tossed the remaining 95% of the sandwich. At least I still had my coffee. Except then about ten minutes later I realized they had given me regular instead of decaf. I’m shaking and twitching so badly, plus have a wicked headache. I will be up all night — there’s a good reason why I order decaf. I’m not going to let it ruin my day, but this Dunkin’ Donuts encounter sucked hiney. On the bright side, the clerks were polite and friendly, earning DD two stars instead of just one.

It had been so long since I had tasted a wonderful chocolate dunkin donut. I didn’t have much of a layover, and was flying with a dog, but still managed to get a snack. They tasted like I remember. It’s an airport location, so I knew it might not live up to DD standards, but it was just fine.

Better coffee than Star Buckle and half the price. Donuts: white long John and French cruellers. That’s all you need to know.

Was in a hurry but had to stop for food. There were only 4 – 5 choices in the terminal area I was restricted to so I saw sandwiches on the Baskin Robbins menu and stopped there. The girls werent especially nice but my grilled ham and cheese was so good, a tad bit oily, but so good. I was a little pissed when I sat down on the plane, ate my whole sandwich and had to sit there with greasy hands for 20 minutes because there were no napkins and our plane had just taken off. grrrrrr… come on people. It’s a sandwich. That’s all you are required to put in the bag! Good thing that sandwich was kick-ass…

Thank heavens I am not ever in a rush when I stop by this DD outpost in the airport. While the offerings are far and away better than some limp salad or trying-too-hard dish from Wolfgang Puck Express in the ‘tonier’ terminals, I sure wish the employees at this DD were a little less relaxed. Especially in an airport setting, where service/efficiency are necessities for passengers trying to catch their flights, it is surprising that the overall game has not been upped at this location. I stopped by here last week for a combo(wake up wrap + coffee). Fortunately, the mistakes worked in my favor(an extra wake-up wrap, at no extra charge) but it can be nerve wracking to wait around while on the go, especially as I had not come at a high-traffic time, and the only other person ahead of me had ordered a chai iced tea.

I can’t ever say anything bad about DD, only wish they had one in Northern California :)

I like this place, they don’t gouge you because you’re in the airport! Very courteous staff, all said«please», «thank you» and«have a nice day». Large coffee, large tea, 2 donuts and a bagel with cream cheese $ 9 and change. Very fair.

Decent priced option for a quick on the go breakfast or snack while waiting to board the plane. Service has been good in the past, no real complaints.

Conveniently located in the Southwest Terminal. I am a sucker for DD hot chocolate during the winter months and so as soon as I arrived from Florida I had to stop in and get something to warm me up! The service was actually pretty good and I got my HC pretty fast! I even cheated and got a Boston Cream donut because I it was there and I can’t resist.
