Fresh toppings make these burgers better than the norm. Add their special sauce and they are amazing. The fries taste perfect and are cooked just right.

Ordered a triple cheeseburger, fries and drink to go and the total came to $ 12.13…wooooow! This better be a good burger. The food was hot, fresh and made to order and didn’t take long at all. Got back to my car and decided to take a quick sample. The burger was a nice size and had fresh toppings although I like onions I could do without a whole slice. The meat itself could use some seasoning. I opted for mayo instead of secret sauce. The fries reminded me of Steak N Shake fries except they had a little skin on them and some salt I guess. All in all it was good but not worth 12 dollars! Nice try…

Hate to do this but not a good experience here. Burgers are nothing special and fries are frozen fries with a little skin on them so they look fresh cut. Didn’t care for the fact they have a tip line on the receipt and ask you to «fill out the top copy and sign». It’s fast casual… adding on a tip makes this $ 10 burger/fry/drink combo just too pricy for what you’re getting: fast food What STL needs is a shake shack or burger fi like they have in Florida. Those places separate themselves by using a higher quality beef blend than most of these one off places do.

Small burger joint seating no more than 10 at a time. The menu is simple and witty: patties and buns and that’s it. The signature burger — beef patties placed between a bun with combination of special sauce, onions, cheese, lettuce and tomato — does brisk business. Everything’s available to take-away. The atmosphere was laid-back and service chipper.

Better than Shake Shack kids. This place takes it down with beautifully crafted burgers and killer cheese fries! white cheese sauce mind you, not that nasty yellow nacho stuff. Super Fresh Veggies ice cold Cola and phenomenal Service. Great job guys can’t wait to see you build a couple more these Little Gems across the STL area. Remember don’t get too big for your britches, keep it at about 5 to 10 tables & we will love you where ever you go!(bacon please add bacon)

Zippy Burger provides an excellent, fast dining option in the Delmar Loop. As many other reviewers have noted, the burgers come with lettuce, tomato, onion, and special sauce. You can eliminate any or all of these ingredients. The burgers are delicious and the fries are perfect. The fries are thin and they were uniformly crispy, not one was soggy or undercooked. The other thing I would like to note is that the service is excellent. My family dined outside on a recent Friday evening and one of the employees came out to ask if we would like refills on our soda. That is above and beyond typical service. I highly recommend Zippy Burger.

Short menu, but that’s all you need. I had the double and some fries. Cooked to order burgers that taste great, and great friendly service. I will definitely be adding this to my list of places to stop in Stl

Stopped by this place for dinner the other night and was blown away. This is one of the best burgers I have ever had! Hands down! I got the double with fries which were perfectly cooked and it was more than enough food. All for under 8 bucks with a drink, you can’t beat the price. I’m going back next week to try the triple. The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was super relaxed. Can’t miss this spot if you’re in the loop.

If you’re looking for a burger that’s not in any way different than a fast food burger this is the place! White Bread bun, 1 – 3 slabs of thin meat, crunchy crisp veggies and a slice of cheese product* right out of the fridge and perfectly flat/square. The cheese fries had cheese product too. But its not the orange /yellow cheese sauce like you’d get with nachos, its white. Fries were crispy and hot. Cheese sauce was also hot. They got it all right, but I wasn’t impressed. I asked if they had anything spicy, Jalapenos? No, Tabasco? no. I’m all for keeping it simple, but this is a little extreme. I need flavor, I need spice. Zippy didn’t deliver. Oh and speaking of not delivering. I was the only person there this Wednesday. Employees out numbered me(everyone there) 3 to 1, Yet they didn’t bother to walk the extra 8 feet to drop my food off. *I have no idea if the cheese is real or not. But it didn’t taste or look like real cheese to me.

Zippy Burger is a solid 3 Stars burger joint. I’m glad I experienced it and I am able to remove it from my list of bookmarked businesses. However, it is not a place a would or will be rushing back to enjoy. The Pros: Fresh & Soft Bun Burger thin, simular to a Steak & Shake burger and the toppings were fresh and plentiful Secret Sauce was good, but let’s be serious, how secret is it? Small intimate space. The Cons: Serve Pepsi products Only have ketchup packets. Packets are for to go orders, get a pump with little paper cups for those eating in your dining room. Fries were crisp, but flavorless. No seasoning. Poorest Customer Service — You only have 6 or 8 tables in your restaurant, how about bringing an order to the person instead of yelling — «Hey, here’s your order.» I was the only person in the restaurant and it was lunch time. Five Guys is larger and they bring you your order. Learn from the big guys. If you want a beer with your burger, not alcohol is served here. Burgers are good, if you get them I’d get them to go and enjoy them at a park, in your car or at home. When:March 15, 2016 Why: Lunch & Check off my Bookmarked List

U are not an in-n-out burger(mostly b/c of the buns), but tries and is pretty close. This is the deal, they only serve thin burgers and fries(single, double, triple and cooked to order). FYI — Pickles need to be requested and cheese is automatic with some special house sauce. This is pretty close to the In-n-Out special sauce. I don’t know if they have a secret veg. option menu — but I’m sure they can make u a mean grill cheese. It’s good, small place, limited menu, pretty cheap — so why not?

Checked out ZB during the Ice Carnival. The place is tiny and you will walk out smelling like Zippy Burger. The burgers are thin-think Steak N’ Shake-and tasted great. The fries, though, were not seasoned and very forgettable. And you can only get one size. I’d stick with S and S, unless I lived nearby.

I promise. I wanted to love Zippy Burger. I have been screaming about the loop needing a thin burger joint for years. Here’s my criticism after trying it three times. 1. Buns are too big. They overpower the burger. Let the burger shine! 2. Buns a bit on the stale side. 3. Switch to diced onions. Or if you are going to keep sliced, I don’t need an ENTIRE slice. I will likely return, but taking my suggestions would guarantee much more of my business.

I was suspect with the previous comparisons to other burger joints like Steak n Shake and McDonald’s, but those comparisons are not justified. Zippy Burger is nothing remotely similar to either of those two places. Zippy Burger is infinitely better than those two places. Their burgers are simple and traditional like they used to be before the proliferation of the fast food chains where everyone has been, and that’s what I like about it. It’s a very small place with some tables and chairs for when you want to eat there, but they do a good amount of take out, too. Their menu offerings are small and simple. This is what they offer so you have to want a burger to go there. It’s posted on the wall by the cash register, and you order off of it. It’s that and that’s what you order. What they cook is really good though. I had read the previous comments on this website and their pictures, and I wanted to go there because it looked interested; plus, I was in the mood for a burger. This is now my go to place for burgers because it’s closer to where my house is in St. Louis, and the people there were nice and friendly. I like it as a burger joint; I like the food; I like the people there, too. If you are in the loop, and you want a burger, this is definitely the place to go and get it.

Simple menu. Traditional cheeseburgers, fries, and fountain drinks… but I mean when you get down to it, what else do you really need? Ordered a single burger and fries, my total was $ 5 and some change. Didn’t take too long to cook, it was late and I was the only customer. The guys had good customer service. Fries were classic and fresh, so was the burger. My only complaint was the the patty was super thin, even for a «steak burger». Next time I’ll get s double.

I was excited about going to Zippy’s for the first time. You can tell this is a first restaurant for the crew and they seem to take a charming pride in their work. The restaurant is clean and was obviously decorated by the team themselves. There is a young, fast, feel to the burger joint as soon as you enter. The space itself is small, about six tables. Located in the previous Seoul Taco space, the parking is no good. Street side parking near Delmar at lunch time can be a challenge. The people walking up and down the street are always fun to watch. The menu is small at this point, but done well. Burgers can be purchased in one or two patties. There is one size, straight fries. They serve Pepsi products. Lettuce, tomato, special sauce(Thousand Island Dressing), and raw onion are available for all burgers. Packets of yellow mustard and mayo are waiting in dishes at the end of the counter. A double burger, order of taters, a water, and a two dollar tip totalled out at about $ 9. I wish the best for this place. Looks like a cool college memory for most kids.

I found Zippy’s through Unilocal.I stopped by today for lunch with Ryan T. They are located in Seoul Taco’s old location. It’s a tiny restaurant with just about five tables. The menu is very simple: burgers, fries and sodas. They do their burgers and fries very well. The fries are better than McDonalds. They only come in one size which is big enough to share amongst a couple people. The burgers are great. Like Vic said, they are similar to Steak n Shake but better. They have a great special sauce they use on the burgers that I like a lot. I am glad I stopped by here. They have been opened just a month and are locally owned. Check them out if you’re in the Loop and craving a good burger and fries.

They have a limited menu but it is worth it because what they do have is perfect. The fries are cooked to perfection. The burgers are perfectly cooked, full of flavor. The prices are reasonable, even on the low end. If you want a great burger and perfect fries, this is the place. Also the staff is polite and prompt.

Zippy has awesome super high quality burgers. I like the secret sauce and the fries; reminded me of what mcdonald’s use to taste like years ago when they were good, except these tasted like that only better. The staff is really friendly and makes the product right in front of you. I’ve been to other hamburger places and this one is by far the best both in their very competitive prices, friendliness of staff and in taste and quality. The burger was juicy without being greasy and the whole facility was very clean which is indicative of the care they put into their product. If ever in the area and your looking for a cool place to get a burger check out Zippy.

If you’re looking for a cheap, quick, and tasty burger fix, Zippy has you covered. Zippy Burger is a new place on the Delmar Loop, right behind Smoothie King(might be Seoul Taco’s old space). The menu is pretty minimal — A single($ 3.35), a double($ 4.89), and fries($ 1.99). Burgers come standard with lettuce tomato onion cheese and special sauce. Pickles are available on request, so make sure to ask. The fries were solid, reminded me of McDonalds fries but of a higher quality and well-seasoned. My single was pretty good, bigger than I thought it would be given the price. The patty is thin and griddle-cooked. Kind of reminded me of Steak n Shake, The orange-colored special sauce added a little zing. I appreciated how all the toppings were thoughtfully placed, so the burger wasn’t messy, and you can get a taste of everything in one bite. Overall it was a solid well-constructed burger. It’s nice to have a cheap option to satisfy your burger craving that isn’t a typical fast-food joint. I’m sure I’ll be back.
