This place had the worst Ethiopian food I have ever had. Greasy fish, flavorless rice, and loads of pepper on everything. It’s cute and the staff is nice but the food was the worst I have had in a long time. Perhaps it was the chef that day

The food was fantastic and the service was so personable and attentive. We got beef tibs and lentil alicha mild, and they were phenomenal. As people who are not good at spicy food, they were very accommodating and understanding.

Cool place! Fast-casual Ethiopian food. I think STL has been missing this type of market(fast casual ethnic food – Indian/African/etc.). We had a lentil dish and a chickpea dish and both were delicious and satisfying, and very reasonably priced. This, Zippy Burger and the Indian place on Melville are all really good.

Just moved back to STL from NYC and was excited to hear about this unique concept and try it out! Moya has really taken the generally lengthy process of getting really good Ethiopian/Eritrean cuisine and made it seamless and convenient. I ordered the beef tibs, which came with a salad option, and also beef sambusa as a starter. It was great. The owner also greeted me and made sure I enjoyed my food. I’m excited to frequent Moya in the Delmar Loop.
