This is a great modern quilt shop. It’s a bit small but the only place around with a primarily modern quilt focus. The owner is friendly and willing to chat and share ideas. If your in the area it’s worth swinging by, especially if you love Cotten & Steele and Kaffe!

I found this great little shop on a maps app looking for fabric in Temecula. I was greeted by the store owner and one employee. I was immediately told what the pricing is, since the prices are not on each bolt. I liked the upfront«disclosure». I was very happy with their selection and their willingness to help me shop or give me space, whichever my preference. The way that the fabric is displayed makes it really easy to choose coordinating fabrics for a project. I purchased fabric for a quilt class that I will be taking on Thursday and have very high hopes for the class and future shopping at this store. I loved the friendly staff and selection.

I came in on Saturday, this being my third time coming to this location. I had previously purchased from them before and left what I thought was a good and honest review about the business. While shopping I was confronted by the owner. She was rude and condescending. Brought up why I gave her 4 instead of 5 stars on the Unilocal review. She badgered me to the point where I had to put away the fabrics I had intended to purchase and leave. I felt attacked and it was VERYUNPROFESSIONAL. I will never shop at this store again and for those reading this I would HIGHLY recommend you shop elsewhere, it’s not worth your time.

Store is very organized, friendly staff, and the prints are beautiful. Only thing is they only had 3 outdoor fabric and the colors were not what I was looking for.

This is such a great little store! I stopped in here last week and was very impressed. Lots of modern fabrics(Michael Miller, Tula Pink, Alison Glass, lots of Cotton + Steel, a whole section of solids, etc). They are very well displayed and they had quite a few fat quarter sets made up(which I really like so I can get a whole bunch of fabric from a line). Cute patterns available and fun quilts hanging around the store. The price per yard of bolt fabric is actually not as bad as I expected for a small store and it was very nice that I was told the price when I first walked in(most fabric is a standard price and that way they don’t have to mark bolts). I was happy to pay it to support this cute shop! I’ve been on the hunt for word fabric(newsprint, etc) to use as a neutral or background fabric. I’ve seen it used in so many quilts on Pinterest. She had several different bolts in stock and she had the harder to find black and white or gray and white versions of the prints. Nice! The owner said she’s always on the hunt for more word fabric. I am looking forward to stopping in here when I come up from San Diego to pick up my wine club wines every few months. I am REALLY happy to find a store that focuses on the modern quilter.

This shop caters to MODERN quilt aesthetic with their collection of bright bolts. I met the owner Sue and she was so pleasant and filled me in on the shops focus. She is a long time sewer turned quilter and this shop is set to meet the needs of the quilter who wants to create a dynamic new look with simple patterns that show off the unique fabrics. You will find fabrics here that you will NOT find anywhere else. The inventory is small store front but very inclusive and has a depth in what has been chosen to stock. There are many example quilts on the walls to tempt the newbie and seasoned quilter. The shop offers lots of NEW quilting classes and I just see it meeting the needs of MODERN quilters.
