The food was pretty good and the service was friendly and quick. The eggs were cooked a perfect over easy and the bacon was crisp. The hash browns were a little soggy, but all in all, it was a good breakfast.

Great food and very filling! Somewhat of an Ihop feel, but not the point where its a carbon-copy of the restaurant. Our waitress Nancy was very informative about the menu. Every employee seemed to display outstanding customer service skills. One employee by the name of Luis was great and seemed to take pride in his job which I appreciated! I had an exceptional experience here!

Horrible service, horrible food! Never going back there went there saturday morning around 8am. It wasnt even that busy but we couldnt find servers to help us. Our own server was too busy taking orders from everyone else while there s a group of them chatting in back. My daughter had to ask for water 4 x before she got it, coz it seems like this wautress was serving everyone else. Requested for extra crispy hash brown, eggs, and sausage. Hash brown was serve medium, they took plate back and 10 mins more it came back«fried to a dark brown» burnt! Same w my wifes waffle, not crispy, then they threw it on the grill. Waffles came back burnt again ! Arrrgh i dont recommend this restaurant. Jimmy egg is «garbage»

Gross. I came here for breakfast with my family on Sunday morning and I was really turned off. Forget the inflexible menu choices, the food is just awful. You can smell the nasty old grease in your hash browns that as hard as concrete and the pancakes are like rubber. I wonder how places like this can actually serve food like this and be happy with it. Jeez.

Service was good, but it took almost and hour to get our food, and moms order came out wrong, so she had to watch us eat… if your in a hurry, don’t stop here.

They used to take to go orders, now they will NEVER answer their phone. No matter how many times we call they never answer anymore. Another thing, they are supposed to be open until 2pm, however we walked in at 1:30pm on a Saturday morning just to order food to go and got many ugly looks by the staff and no one wanted to help us. We saw a man walk in after us at about 1:45 and saw the staff giving him dirty looks and making comments about how they didn’t want to help. Very rude.

Unfortunately we had very bad service this time around. We think the waiter was new. When we ordered drinks we also placed an order for our little guy, meals go a bunch smoother when he starts eating at the beginning, he returned about 10 minutes later with our drinks and hadn’t put the order in. It only went down hill from there, the restaurant was busy, not packed, but food took 50 minutes to reach us from when we sat down. If we subtract the time it took him to come back and take our order(10 minutes), it was still a long wait time. He was reasonably polite but set literally everything down in front of the baby. we kept snatching it away as fast as we could but he didn’t seem to get the hint. The food was mediocre. I would sooner go to the egg and I, though it is higher on my list than Ihop.

A little pricey but quality breakfast. I had the Country Benedict, a hearty serving of a plot biscuit covered in sausage patties, poached eggs(subbed for over easy eggs), and sausage gravy. It was served with home fries, and it was all just so tasty. I also shared a small stack with my dining partner, and those where perfectly fine as well. Our server, Sam, was very helpful and quite fond of my puns. I recommend her as well, be sure to get in her section!

Been there twice. First time everything was alright. Good enough to go back again. Went back and this time everything was less than alright. Took about 10 mins from being seated to get coffee. Service was really slow and our food was subpar.

Good service but never answers the phone, and the 5 egg omelettes are not actually 5 eggs.

Been here twice. 1st time was OK which is why I gave three stars. Just know though I sat down. Was greeted after a minute or so. Told here I wanted a water and I knew what I wanted. Gave my order and never saw her again. I left after 10 min.

The food was really good, the portions generous, and the price is similar to what you would pay at a Denny’s or IHOP, only difference is that we def got more food than we would have at Denny’s or IHOP. The place was busy, so you may have to wait a minuet to get your order taken, but the food comes out pretty quickly and our server was really nice. I will definitely be returning. I really want to try their Cinnamon roll pancakes. They looked delicious.

Terrible service. Took 10 minutes to get noticed. Had to ask for service. Food was OK but took forever to get it. People working here are completely oblivious to customer needs. Thirsty without offer of water refills. All around us are neglected customers. Next table over is angry about an incorrect order. Where is management?

I got her at 7:30 Saturday morning and it was empty. A couple of servers greeted me. Grabbed a table. Had water within 120 seconds. Ordered the Popeye omelette and had that in 5 minutes. My server friendly and comes as required, no more no less. Fruit couldn’t be any fresher. Biscuits were great! All good. Here barely 25 minutes. Jeremiah did a great job!

I come here specifically for the Baja omelet. I don’t typically order omelets but something about the combo of bacon, avocado, and Monterey Jack cheese makes this delish! The thick slice of homemade white bread tastes like a pastry if you put fruit jam on it. This place gets crowded so the service is very slow. I have to ask and ask and ask for coffee refills but the food is so good that I don’t even get mad about it.

I really, really hate posting negative reviews on here, but our experience at Jimmy’s today was abysmal. First, let me start with, it was nice not to have to wait 30 minutes just for a table, and the host was very friendly and immediately sat us at a table in the very front of the restaurant, in full view of all the incoming patrons. Our server didn’t greet us, just asked what we wanted to drink. Odd, but that can be overlooked. She returned and immediately asked what we wanted, and we requested a few minutes to browse since we had never been there before. After we ordered, our server pretty much disappeared during the entire 25⁄30 minutes it took to receive our order(granted it was a busy, peak time, trust me I understand). Meanwhile, my boyfriend’s tea sat empty for a good 15⁄20 minutes. I believe the most frustrating part about this, we flagged down another server, asked for a tea refill and he proceeded to ignore our request and fill the waters and coffee of all the tables around us. Talk about teamwork. When our server finally returned, she dropped the check and started to walk off, we asked for two teas, one of which she brought back in a to go cup… She proceeded to come by quite more frequently awaiting payment although our food wasn’t close to being finished on our plates, we just requested to go boxes and paid. Would’ve liked to have spoken to a manager about our experience this morning, however no one seemed to give us the time of day or know who was managing. Silver lining, my boyfriend loved his monte cristo sandwich and hashbrowns. Even if he enjoyed half of it at home. That is the only reason why there is a two star rating, food isn’t bad. Order to go!

I came here with fellow Unilocaler Lisa T. because she is mildly obsessed with breakfast foods. Basically if you ever get her upset, give her a stack of pancakes and that should do the trick(Lisa if you’re reading this, ILY and I’m kidding, kind of). We came on a Friday afternoon and it wasn’t too crowded. From bacon pancakes to huge omelettes, the expansive menu at Jimmy’s Egg is HUGE. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the strawberry waffle and when it came out, it was bigger than my face. In front of me sat a giant golden brown waffle covered in strawberry preserve decorated with powdered sugar and a few dollops of whipped cream. I was ecstatic. Prices and service here were great! The portions are huge for how much you pay for and it’s definitely a solid spot for breakfast and brunch. I’d much rather go to Jimmy’s Egg over IHOP any day, as long as they’re open. They do close at 2 pm on weekdays so if you’re hankering for some breakfast foods, go early!
