Charming Charlie – Thousand Oaks

Best place to go for color coordinated accessories! They provide all the accessories you could possibly need at a reasonable price. The whole store is just too cute!

I really would like to give 5 stars but i just cant. Here is the reason why:
I went in on Saturday afternoon with my mom and i got greeted from 5 ladies who worked there, which were having a little to long of a chat between each other while people were wondering around for help. I picked out a dress and I asked where the fitting room was. One the girls tells me «its in the corner» instead of her just taking me there as it was my first time being there. Then her coworker (manager) says– oh you might need to walk her there as you need to unlock the dress room for her, then the lazy lady walks me to the room and lets me in. At this point im really shocked. Then i need a different size of the dress i was trying on, but i could not have it as all the girls were to busy chatting away and i had no assistance with it. I look around and nothing. SO i get out without the size i was looking for and i grab couple jewelry and i go to check out. The check out girl was super nice as sweet and she had the longest line trying to handle it on her own because the rest was to busy doing nothing. I am shocked as one of these girls was the manager and she was not delegating how it should have been done. Maybe they were having in a meeting, but a meeting in the middle of the floor laughing and chatting– absolutely not professional. People spend money there and they should get the best service there is. If i was the district manager i would totally send a secret shopper there and i would def. fire the manager. I know im a little harsh on my judgement, but these ladies are infecting the business. Sometimes we have to make radical business decisions to benefit from it.

My go to store for reasonably priced accessories and gifts for my girlfriends, They always have ever color you can imagine and are current with styles. I can spend a lot of time in there just looking at stuff. The items are not the highest of quality but for the price who can complain.

This store is pretty awesome, they have so much eye candy in here it’s hard not to get stuck in each colorful section for 10 minutes at a time. I love that they keep it separated by color themes and I love the variety that they carry. They also have shoes tucked away in the back, they don’t display it in their window so you would never think but they do and some cute stuff too. I’ve purchased a lace dress in here before, belts, hats, sweater dress and so much arm candy. Great place for gifts for a girl that loves to sparkle and at any age. Prices are decent too.

Imagine going to the garment district in DTLA, minus the thugs selling cheap grills and that disgusting smell of hot dogs/​ethnic food… and you don’t have to grasp tightly to your bag.

The store in itself is HUGE
It’s color coordinated and organized by individual sections per color
There’s lots of trendy items, some look designer and some look straight out faux (For the price you really can’t complain)
The first time I went I actually browsed the entire store but couldn’t find one item I was completely sold on… until I found the very last studded snake skin leather (it said real leather but I’m not 100% I’d stake my life on it) clutch/​chain link bag (see my pic) and for under 20 bucks too
Did I mention I got a free wallet thanks to the clutch/​bag being on clearance? (Yeah I didn’t know it was a clearance item until I got to the register)
SCORE!
And to think I would have spent 500 on a tylie malibu snake skin gypsy bag… (still contemplating but…)
Aldo has clutch/​bags similar for at least 40… Charming Charlie has merchandise ranging from chic jewelry to hair accessories, purses, sunglasses, wallets, jewelry racks, shoes, perfume and so much more.
And the price is definitely right
Sales associates are FRIENDLY, so be sure to ask them for help they make customer service a priority

Wow! Accessory overload!
My friend had been sporting some adorable jewelry to the office recently so I asked her to send me to her source. She directed me to Charming Charlie. When she said they had EVERY color and style imaginable, I was doubtful, So I finally made the trek to Thousand Oaks and found this accessory addicts heaven!
The selection here is insane. Necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, purses, sunglasses, cell phone accessories and more! Prices are in the $ 8 – 15 range for rings and bracelets. $ 15 – 30 for necklaces and $ 10 – 20 for earrings. I didn’t look at clothes or shoes because I found them to be just ok. I like that they put looks together for you and group color families to help with inspiration.
This is a great place to shop for Prom or special occasions too.

Lots and lots and LOTS of costume jewelry, displayed in color groups, for all different age groups. It’s a lot of fun to browse, and even more fun to buy ! They have EVERYTHING. Sunglasses, handbags, shoes, rings, bracelets, scarves, earrings, hats, hair accessories, necklaces, earring and jewelry holders, I know I’m leaving items out. What’s more is that the items are reasonably priced. They are definitely a chain store, although I have no idea where else they are… but they are. If you want to complete your outfit and don’t mind the fact that this is entirely costume jewelry (as opposed to the real deal), you will have fun. All items are very nicely displayed. Oh, and one more item of interest… they don’t police and torment you or make you feel like you are about to steal something like the employees at «So Good!» do. That ALWAYS annoyed me, but here, it’s not like that. As it should be.
