It really is a shame that I can’t leave less than a one star review. A negative 5 star review might be better suited for this business. As soon as I walked into the shop I was attacked. Like a shark to blood the salesman was instantly upon me. Now normally, I’d welcome a warm greeting, but this was more along the lines of an obnoxious, «What don’t you have enough money to buy from us today?» Perhaps it was the way I was dressed, or maybe because I didn’t respond to the salesmans’ initial cry for money. He immediately noticed the watch I was wearing, made a snark, sarcastic remark regarding it and walked away. At the same time another worker happened to notice that I was looking at their display that carried the same watch brand I was wearing and made another remark. I left upset and feeling judged. No customer should be made to feel inferior for their own personal taste. I had every intention of purchasing a watch that day, but I’m sure they don’t need money to stay in business.

This watch place sucks. Rude people, crappy service, and a terrible place not only to buy a watch but to get your watch repaired. This place is a total scam, meaning you will get screwed as soon as you step foot in this store. Stores like this shouldn’t even be in malls like, The Oaks. Whatever you do, don’t ever buy a watch from here or get your watched repaired here.

What a dump! The owner and his wife are and condescending. He took a watch that he couldn’t fix, didn’t fix it and then insulted us for bringing it to him in the first place. Going to an actual jeweler.

I walked into the store today because I didn’t know how to set the time and date on my Citizen watch. Since they sell the watch I thought they would be able to provide me the information to do that. The gentleman who helped me wanted me to leave my watch for 30 minutes with them and charge me $ 15 so they can do that for me. This is the second and last time I’ll ever step foot into this place. I know businesses need to make money but charging someone $ 15 to tell them how to adjust the date and time on watches they sell is ridiculous. And by the way, the guy had no clue on how to do it.

Took my brand new watch to get links shortened on Jan 1st. After 30 minute wait, band was still long for my wrist so asked Hispanic repair guy if I could bring it back to store another day to fix as I had another appointment. Man was extremely rude and flat out said no. Didn’t have time to argue re such BS so I just paid the $ 10.50, but this will be my last visit there. Also took another watch there for battery replacement previously but battery only lasted for few months. I should have learned my lesson first time around. Stay away from this store! Not onIy is customer service terrible but quality of work is lacking. You’ve been warned…

I am very very disappointed and upset about the service here. I personally know the owners… very nice people. But they should not be in the business of repairing watches or replacing batteries if they don’t have the proper tools/professionals to do it honestly. My Breitling watch was a wedding gift. I have never gone to anyone for a battery replacement other than a jewelry store – and they usually send it out. I’ve had my watch for almost 20 years with no problems. After having my battery replaced here, while I waited, it now takes on moisture. The very first day after leaving the store, my watch steamed up with moisture. I knew immediately that I had to take action if I was going to save my $ 2000(!!) watch from the moisture damage. I sent it to Breitling…$ 380 later, and hopefully it will arrive back in 6 weeks… I obviously had a lapse in judgement. My actions were driven by «knowing someone in the business» and convenience. I didn’t check Unilocal – why should I, I know them… Selling watches? Yes Repairing/Replacing batteries? NO Extremely saddened by the outcome. I can only hope that the watch will be restored to it’s original condition. This is the only Unilocal review I’ve ever written. I’m not one to complain. But i feel it’s important to WARN you if you’re considering having a watch repaired here or battery replaced.

There is a reason why this place has a collective«two stars:» Super sketchy, unprofessional, and probably the only establishment at this mall that has that«flea market» kinda feel. Unless you enjoy haggling for a timepiece, with no visible price, that’s reputation or authenticity could be questionable, then by all means… hahaha

Went in to ask a simple question about how a feature on my watch worked. The man behind the counter acted put out and tried to make me feel stupid. NOCUSTOMERSERVICE… instead of being helpful, he said, «read the instructions». Will never go there again.

BEWARE… This place is an absolute joke. The place sucks. the batteries and watch pins are super cheap quality and overpriced. Even worse is their customer service. They will not honor any of their work and were actually rude… he got into a pissing match with me. I had to stop payment on my credit card because they wanted to recharge me for work done only 2 weeks prior that was substandard… my watch actually broke apart due to the parts that they used(I have never had any problems with this watch until I came into this store!) I refused to repay for the exact same work and am taking my watch elsewhere. I will NEVER step foot in this crappy place ever again. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable watch repair place and stay out. It’s a total scam. P. S. This is my first post ever, that’s how much I hate this place.

Extremely rude when I came back to get my watch sized after I wasn’t happy with it the first time. I took my watch that was already sized by them to Ben Bridges for the same price and they actually evened out the links because time spot put too many in on one side. Rudeness is the best way to lose customers. My mother in law referred me here and I will make sure she doesn’t refer anyone else.

I had a Wenger watch that needed either a new clasp or bracelet. I came in asking for help. While describing the situation, I casually remarked that the old clasp«fell off» or something. He felt the need to correct me that«No, it broke.» OK? It sounds like a trivial typing it now, but his attitude was surly. That seems to be the trend among watch repair places, it seems. I say do yourself a favor and head over to Fast-Fix, which is also in the T.O. mall. As for the watch itself, he said that if I wanted a new bracelet, I would need to go to the company, as it’s difficult to match the finish. Fair enough. But then I went over to Fast-Fix, and the fellow there offered to replace just the clasp portion(and keep the same bracelet) for $ 25, and it’d be done in half an hour. He was the first place out of the 3 I contacted that offered to do an honest-to-goodness repair. Sold. I’ve had the watch back for a day, and it’s fantastic.

I’ve had a couple of experiences with this place. Both negative. The first occasion was purchasing a new stainless steel bracelet for my Citizen Skyhawk. Which went fine, no issues there. But a week later, a pin on the bracelet literally fell out, leaving the watch unwearable. The bracelet itself was pristine aside from this fact, so it was clearly a defect. I brought it back in… with my receipt, trusting that they would pop it back together. A five minute job. Nope. I was actually charged for the repair, which was beyond ridiculous. I then needed a link taken out of the bracelet for my Omega Seamaster, so being a trusting(maybe foolish) soul, I brought it in to Time Spot. I was told that watch would have to be left overnight because the bracelet needed a link drilled out. OK… Well that sounded strange, because I knew that the bracelet was perfectly fine, but hey… there was no way that they could mess that up, right? So I pick it up the next day and proceed on my merry way. It’s not til almost a month later that I take the watch in to be serviced at an authorized Omega dealer, that I’m told(and kindly shown) that the links were put back together incorrectly. My mind was a little blown. Luckily, they were able to correct the problem. Here’s the thing: these are two fairly simple issues that this store failed on — basic customer service and the quality of the work. This watch store is best avoided.

Worst shop ever. Do not shop here. The owner was mean and nasty. I took a child’s watch in to have links and he totally ripped us off. Beware!

WARNING this vendor does NOT take returns at all! I asked to return a very expensive watch which I had tried to return weeks ago, so they made me come back(I live 180 miles away) I came back and asked for the owners name and he would not give it to me and he flat LIED and told me the watch had been worn, sorry. This vendor is 2 X more expensive than any average store rip off artist!!!

Really bad, shady business. These people should be ashamed of themselves. I bought 2 watches for gifts 3 months ago. One has completely stopped working, the other one had a part inside on the face that fell off and is floating around in the face. When We brought it in, the guy working there said it’s not their job to fix the watch or take it back for us. We have to send it to fossil. This was literally 3 months after purchase. They are just very unhelpful and unfriendly too… Unless you’re trying to buy a watch then they are really nice and helpful… never gonna shop there again.

I brought in two watches to get new batteries over a year ago(keep reading to see why I am posting this now). They quoted me two different prices for the watches, because one was Burberry so they wanted more money to put a battery in that watch. The other is a Michael Kors. I knew they were both made by fossil and that was sign 1 not to proceed, but I was already there so decide to say fine. The batteries died within a week for the Burberry and about 2 months later for the Michael Kors. This week(3÷23÷2015) I take my watch to a jeweler to get new batteries in westlake village. Same price for both watches($ 15 per watch and he showed me the new battery he took out of each single wrapped package from the manufacturer). When he takes apart my Burberry, there is a piece of scotch tape holding something in place in the battery slot, he said this is very unusual(aka would never be there from a manufacturer) and probably why your watch stopped working after bringing to Time Spot. Time Spot was the first, and until this week, only time my watch had been opened up since it was purchased. They broke it, tried to cover it up leaving me with a worthless watch. There is truly nothing I can do beyond explain my story and frustration how I cannot wear a beautiful watch that was a special gift I received at a special time in my life. I doubt they respond to this, and decided not to waste my time going into the store as I can only foresee that they will want to tell me I’m wrong, and that will only be more frustrating to me.

Brought in my Tissot for a simple battery change. Price was quoted at $ 10 then jumped to $ 12 when he saw my watch. No problem. When I came BACK I was told it would be an additional $ 35 to make sure the watch was still waterproof… These guys are shady and unprofessional.

THEWORST! Bought a $ 3000 watch from them. 3 or 4 months later, there was a problem with the watch. They couldn’t fix it, refused to send it back to the manufacturer and wouldn’t give me a copy of my receipt. NOCUSTOMERSERVICE!

stay away! very shady business! i bought a watch here for my wife for christmas. the owner fred told me she would be able to return the watch or exchange it if she didn’t like it. she came back to the store 3 times to return the watch and their incredibly rude, belligerent and mentally challenged sales people refused the return. once they get your money, they won’t give it back no matter what. their motto is «the customer is always wrong.» please don’t shop here. maybe a good business will replace it in our beautiful mall. owner subscribes to the«arab golden rule» which is do unto others as you would have them do unto you unless you’re a sucker“a major cultural mismatch in our community.

AVOIDTHISUNETHICALSTORE !!! DONOTSHOPHERE!!! My wife bought a watch as a present for our wedding. She asked the manager if she can return the $ 900 watch if I ended up not liking it. She told the manager when the wedding was and he(Fred) said not a problem. The day after we got back from our honeymoon we went in to return the watch(it was still in the plastic and never opened) and the same manager said he would not return it. He acknowledged that he told my wife we could return it but would not give me a reason why he changed his mind!!! I had a 20 minute discussion with him and wouldn’t even make eye contact with me!!! He was working on something and wasn’t even man enough to look up, make eye contact, and give me a reason. I even offered to buy another watch on the spot. He still said too bad and that he changed his mind even though he admitted telling my wife we can return it for a full refund! I have already reported this store to the BBB and will do everything I can to make people aware of this stores unethical business practices.
