Decided to have a perfect lunch with my best friend, and honestly this place is the cutest! I got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, which was absolutely delish! Loved the staff, everybody was super nice! Definitely will be going back again soon!

Love this place for a quick healthy meal. The atmosphere is great and the chopped salad with tuna is one of my favorites. We started with the hummus flight and it was awesome. The one hummus had a nice little lemon kick which I loved. Definitely recommend this neighborhood gem of a spot.

We just recently tried Olive & Thyme for the first time and it was fantastic! Let’s start with the décor… so pretty! It’s like a Paris café meets a country kitchen. The community style wooden tables with the fresh flowers are such a nice touch. They also have an outdoor patio. When we stopped in it was for breakfast. We had the breakfast burrito, which was great, and the burrata and avocado toast, which was out of this world! You order your food at the counter and the servers deliver it to your table when it’s ready. After looking over their whole menu we saw so many great lunch and dinner items that we want to try. We will definitely be back!

Pricey, but my very favorite oatmeal anywhere ever. Use the brown sugar that comes on the side for your tea! A very nice atmosphere — a great place to take friends or family who are visiting from out of town, or meet a client for a business breakfast or lunch.

Very nice brunch stop that my friends and I went to while we were in LA. The spicy chicken sandwich was to die for and their salad was great. It’s a bit on the pricey side but to me, it was worth it! I also ordered this pasta on the side as well(forgot what it was called) but it was delicious. My friend for the chicken salad and the other got a sandwich. Their Matcha latte wasn’t the best I had. It was probably the only mediocre thing we got. But overall, I’m happy with this place and would go again to try other items on their menu!

Delicious sandwiches. I had the turkey club with avocado and bacon and cilantro mayo. Yum! Bread is fresh and crusty. Lettuce crisp. Enough to fill you up or take home for leftovers. Teas and lemonade refreshing. Indoor and outdoor seating. Big area with lots of seating. Décor is a shoppers delight; soaps, candles, herbs, spices, coffees and teas. Only downfall is the noise. Don’t go there to have a meeting. VERY loud with all the talking and it echoes. Ordering at the counter only. Servers bring the food and clear. Very pleasant and helpful.

One of my favorite restaurants! The first thing about this place is… It completes me! It’s like a Parisian café resplendent with copper pots and pans, beautiful floral arrangements, glass cases full of pastries and amazing goodies to buy from raw honey, to gorgeous candles and truffle oil. Everything on the menu is tasty. Some of my favorites are the chicken salad in green goddess dressing, fried chicken, spicy chicken sandwich, caprese chicken sandwich, kale salad, need I go on? Just go eat there! They serve Intelligentsia coffee and espresso which is one of my faves! Cappuccinos are delicious! Seriously though… Can I just move in???

This place is absolutely beautiful. The room is big and open, the tables are great, the vibe here is like a big fancy café in a large city, almost feels like a Balduccis in NYC to me. The food is just ok and way overpriced. I guess they’re still paying for that gorgeous remodel. Their iced tea is delicious, I usually come here for iced tea to go. I love that they have a self serve water station by the front door. Comes in very handy on a hot LA day.

Had to circle around twice to find a parking spot in a nearby street. This Olive & Thyme is set up and decorated just like the old location a few blocks away, but super sized. When we arrived. There was no line to order food and not even a quarter of the tables were occupied. Fried chicken sandwich is crunchy, juicy and fully cooked. The bread was solid yet soft. The dressing was tasty. Soy soba noodles was lightly seasoned, or dressed, and they were tasty and had bite. Red velvet cupcakes were moist. Iced mocha was great! Service was friendly and patient and quick. The lady at the cashier very patiently answered questions and took our order. It didn’t take long for us to get our food after.

I’ve visited Olive & Thyme for lunch a few times and I keep telling myself I need to try something other than their Avocado & Burrato Toast, but I can’t stop ordering it! It’s so fresh and delicious! This place gets PACKED during lunch time, good luck finding seats. The food, atmosphere, desserts, and customer service make it all worth it. So far, we have tried the chocolate pudding cake, and the butter nutella cookie– both are delicious! Can’t wait to come by again soon.

What a beautiful place!!! I fell in love with this restaurant. If only their was a location nearby where I live . I came on a Thursday evening around 7:00 for desert in hopes of having a wide variety to choose from but unfortunately almost all the good stuff were sold out! Luckily their were some yummy items to choose from! My mom ordered a panini and I ordered the avocado burrata toast and shared it with my sister. Portions were great, food was delicious, and customer service was phenomenal! I will definitely come back for another great experience.

Olive and Thyme is an excellent spot for a very casual bistro lunch or dinner. Love their sandwiches for lunch. We went for dinner for the first time and were pleasantly surprised to find that they serve wine! We had the short ribs, deviled eggs, steak salad, burrata and Brussels sprouts, and lots of wine. All the dishes were tasty with the exception of the steak salad which I felt was really lacking in flavor and composition. The candied bacon and jalapeño deviled eggs were delish! I couldn’t decide which wine I wanted, so the server recommended I try the wine flight for $ 15 and it worked out perfectly. I loved the hearty pours of the three wines and felt it was a good value for the price. Street parking is free but beware, O&T is located by a few big businesses so it gets very busy during the week for the lunch hour.

I hate to admit how delicious this place is because everytime I come here I feel like I’ve dented my wallet and overpaid, but the food here — is quality. It’s fresh, tastes crisp, like a sunshine day. Their avocados are always ripe and perfect: Not too hard, not too mushy. They have such a variety of options that stick for the healthy eater. Your plate will be mainly green and even if you leave here feeling full, it won’t be that hard nasty, sick full. It’s a really good full, like you did a body good. Parking is a pain in the butt, but definitely worth the trip here. If this place as just $ 5 cheaper per plate, I ‘d probably be lunching here much more frequently. My first visit was a breakfast visit and I spent $ 20 on myself. I had the avocado toast, and it was A LOT of food(yea their dishes are also large), came out quick. Although I enjoyed my food, I couldn’t accept spending $ 20 on myself for breakfast. My second visit was for lunch where I spent $ 16 for a chicken salad with grilled avocado and arugula. This is the dish that made me a fan. The avocado was sooooo good, lightly grilled with a touch of lemon, the arugula was crisp and lightly salted, so easy! And that chicken salad! I don’t know how they make it but it was so tasty. Man I want that dish again, it was a special so hopefully it isn’t hard to recapture soon.

This is a great place to bring your ragazza. Husband and wife duo have put together a gourmet/fast casual dining experience. Most of the time these type of establishments are just OK or horrible. Rarely do I leave thinking about how I can’t wait to return. Usually it’s overpriced and I want to get the hell out of there for some real food. Food is always some weak ass pesto turkey sandwich with some cold muffin that has been sitting in the fridge for a few days. Noted pluses: — Nice clean décor(same for the bathroom) — Simple menu — Fair selection of craft alcohol — Eye candy on the shelf(snacks, pastries, etc.) — Fast service — Good food Initial thought was fellas this place isn’t for us. Aaaand I was right for the most part. Definitely catered to the ragazza in your life. Luckily they do have some gnarly man food. One of them being the short rib sandwich. Loaded with meat and enough horseradish for the whole family. Not shy with the radish around here. I felt that kick in my nasopharynx a few times, but I’m glad I did. You need that wasabi type of spice to cut through all of that fatty rich goodness. It is a little pricey. Meaning I did not expect a quick stop for lunch would run us that ticket. I would consider the fact that it is over priced for sure, but if the food and service is good you tend to overlook the $$.

This is the cutest restaurant I’ve been to! I love the interior layout, décor, and how their boxed goodies are all set up. The boxes and goodies were so perfectly placed that I was scared to touch anything because I thought it may fall. The whole restaurant is surrounded by windows, so you have that beautiful natural lighting coming in. The outdoor seating is also very nice, especially with our SoCal weather. I got something off their«Special Menu». It was arugula salad with grilled chicken in a pesto sauce? with a lemon/olive oil dressing and a slice of bread, I believe… Whatever it was, it was delicious and my boss got the same thing. For dessert we split the Rise Crispy Choco Chip Cookie… it was so good, but you could really taste the butter. The iced mint green tea was refreshing! Can’t wait to be back.

This place is very cute, but a little over-priced. Food is not amazing and portion is kinda small. The avocado toast was only one piece of bread with a very thin layer of avocado, a ball of burrata and that costs $ 13 or $ 14! I don’t think you will feel full after eating that. But they do have a lot to choose from, which makes me want to give it a try next time.

How cute is this place?! Feel in love the minute I stepped in. My friend took me here because Burbank definitely out about my area. Anyhoo, its pretty simple, you find your seats, ordered at the register and they bring the food to you. They also have super cute merchandise for sale such as candles, loose leave tea, coffee etc. My friend and I ordered the avocado toast with burrata cheese and cob salad with no blue cheese to share and its pretty good! Although whoever made our avocado toast went cheap on the avocado and gave us way too much cheese. I am a cheese lover don’t get me wrong but if its avocado toast I want more avo! So I just ate the extra buratta cheese with the salad on the side~ and that’s yumm. We were both not a fan of blue cheese so we ordered the cob salad without it, you can substitute with other cheese if u wanted. The cob salad had chicken and pretty big bacon bits, abundant of egg, tomato, and avocado chunks with a creamy spicy sauce. Very good! Will come back if I’m ever in this area again!

Tasteless Food… Impressive setup, top notch equipment, descent presentation; there is a lot of money poured into this place. However, even with their limited menu, there is not much of a taste if any. Also, there is no consistency, for example, two well-done orders will come not so well and too well, at the same time, both sharing the same tastelessness. People appear very Gordon Ramsey-ish, which by the way I’m a fan of, however, at Olive and Thyme they seem to lost focus perhaps due to trying too hard on the looks/how it looks rather than how it tastes. The place has a potential if they do a major re-evaluation on recipes/cooking, etc. sAiQx February 2016,

I came here one morning when I woke up way earlier than I needed and couldn’t go back to sleep. I was greeted by the friendly girl at the register who got a coffee going for me and explained how everything worked since it was my first time there. I took a seat and waited for my food. I waited some more. I looked around and noticed no one else had food in front of them either. I waited some more. A lot of orders went out of the kitchen except mine. It was strange because all I ordered was a sandwich with egg, cheese, bacon… simple things. 23 minutes later my sandwich finally arrived and I do have to say that it was tasty, but it wasn’t even made with brioche bread. It was just regular white sandwich bread. Oh well. Too hungry and tired to worry about that. The egg was nice and runny and cheese was nice and gooey. I will give this place another chance and hopefully have a better experience next time

Arrived on a Saturday Morning at 10am for breakfast, place was crowded, ordered at the counter. Menu is detailed, ingredients fresh. Served order within 20 minutes. Was kind of concerned about the butting boards the food was served on, kind of outdated and warn down. Don’t wanna think if they were contaminated or whether they can be totally washed down. Street parking was available on Saturday and didn’t need to pay for parking as usual, either at the structure or valet. Service was kind, friendly, and quick. Would come back and would order the the brioche sandwich. Hope they were open on Sundays for breakfast as well, but seems like breakfast all day Saturdays will have to do for now.

Been here about 3 times now and I love it. Great ambiance and good food! Gets busy at times but it’s worth it. Hard to resist desserts since they stare at you from behind the glass. FOOD: Turkey Club(5 stars): The cilantro mayo is really good. Loved the sourdough. Spicy Chicken(4 stars): Lots of cheese, almost like a grilled cheese with chicken. Couldn’t taste the other ingredients much but still good. Chocolate Chip Cookie(3.5 stars) Avocado and Burrata Toast(4 stars) ATMOSPHERE(5 stars) Love the vibe of this place. Great open layout and love that there is nice seating outside! You order at the counter and they give you a number to take to your table. PARKING: Street parking or they have valet around the corner(which I thought was crazy for a café type place but it does get pretty busy at peak times so at least that’s an option).

Quality, delicious food. It gets packed during lunch from all the locals and studios nearby. They also carry a variety of artisan chocolates, confections, and snacks as well as small gift candles, etc. They have a side fridge of Clover pressed juices, kombucha, and Bondaberg ginger beer, to name a few beverages. Chopped Kale Salad: favorite among most of my coworkers. They order it EVERYDAY. The dark green kale’s texture is pleasantly manageable(coming from someone who usually doesn’t enjoy raw kale salad unless it’s shredded) Burrata/Avo Toast: I always consider if I should fork over the $ 14 price for an avo/burrata toast but it is undeniably SOSATISFYING. Really one of the best avo toast I’ve had. Chinese Chicken Salad: Another great, filling salad. The dressing is more on the light, vinegary side which I really liked. Scrambled Eggs: If you are getting breakfast, PLEASE get their scrambled eggs. They are cooked perfectly cooked, seasoned, fluffy, and moist(sorry, can’t think of another word right now, but who likes DRY scrambled eggs. ah!) Egg Salad Toast: It was a bit too«wet» for me, but seasoned well.

I like going to olive & thyme to meet friends for lunch or even just to talk business over a latte. The ambiance is cute, cozy, nice. But gosh darn it… I will LOSE.MY.MIND if I go one more time and they’ve run out of the quiche. It’s like hey never ACTUALLY have it. It’s quite pricey for the quantity– that’s where they lose a star. Sure, studio execs on their lunch breaks keep this place hoping, but I’m poor and I can only afford the freakin QUICHE.

Lemonade — refreshing! I’ll the watermelon one next time. They offer valet parking, which I think is ridiculous(valet for a breakfast/lunch place? Whaaaaaaat!!!), but this restaurant is ridiculously busy! Although the sign at the front says«order at the register», you don’t have to. You can go up to the bar, grab a chair, and order from one of the baristas. My boyfriend and I, however, did order from the register(O&T breakfast sandwich, huevos rancheros, a latte, and a slice of cheddar cheese-crusted apple pie). The breakfast sandwich came on a wooden platter along with lightly dressed arugula salad. It was beautifully presented, but apparently, the egg was overcooked. My huevos rancheros, on the other hand, was AMAZING! There were 3 crunchy tortilla rounds with refried beans, avocado slices, salsa, and 3 perfectly poached eggs. I was not expecting 3 eggs on my plate, and I totally did not plan on eating all of them. Guess what happened? I ate them all.(I did give my bf a couple of bites.) Then, I finished the apple pie too. Yup. I sure did. The crust was quite crunchy and had a faint cheddar cheese flavour. The apple was cooked down to a compote-like texture and beautiful deep purple colour(reminded me of tarte tatin). It was subtly sweet and tangy. I can’t believe I finished the huevos rancheros AND the pie, but my stomach was certainly capable of such a feat(and I am quite proud of myself!!)

Friendly staff, this is a 4 star eatery … a jewel on the corner of kenwood and Riverside. However they ruined my wife’s steak salad with too much dressing. The steak was great but was less than enjoyable. She likes vinegar but could only eat a few bites of the salad due to over dressing. For that they lose a star. Mine was spicy chicken which was awesome, my salad was perfect so i gave it to Krista so she could have some greens. Overall 3 stars… I would be willing to come back for the deserts alone but K said.eh. which means she’d give it another try… but not soon.

My god what a beautiful space! The entrance is already massive, I am OBSESSED with that door! The vibe is white, bright and airy, such a nice place to have a light lunch with the girls or some coffee and desserts. I had an oreo whoopie pie and some coffee(they serve Intelligentista) and took some café du monde coffee to go which I was surprised and excited to find. Service is exceptional, everything they make looks amazing! Prices are kind of all over the place, I saw some desserts for $ 3, others over $ 10 which is what kept me from getting one of everything to go please. I will have to be back to try more, it was super tasty and a nice variety of sweet and savory.

I came here on the recommendation of my Unilocal CM Katie B. and I was not dissappointed! I had a little trouble finding it as Unilocal took me to their old location which is now Simplethings. I called Olive & Thyme and they directed me to their new location two blocks down the street. The atmosphere is super cute, with lots of little knicknacks such as pigs, cows and chicken figurines around the restaurant. They have a little side area that has a selection of candles and knick knacks for sale. As soon as you walk in the door you pick up a menu and find what you want to order. Then you go stand in line by the baked goods. I went at 2pm on a Saturday and it was mildly busy, no wait.
I wanted something on the lighter side and ordered the steak salad for $ 13. While delicious, it was very filling with the steak to salad ratio being a little more than 50⁄50. The waiter warned me that the steak was medium rare, which was fine with me. I also ordered a caramel cookie and an oatmeal krispy cookie that were available when I ordered. However, when they brought my salad they told me that they ran out of the caramel cookies and that I needed to order a different one. So I got the the toffee white chocolate chip instead. I thought it was strange that there were cookies available when I ordered, but while waiting for my food they ran out. Get your pastries when you order them, don’t wait for your food or they might run out. Steak Salad: Delicious, but very filling. The meat only comes medium rare and is very flavorful and lean. The salad comes with romaine, iceberg and arugula. I had them leave the arugula out of mine as I don’t care for the bitter taste. Instead of croutons they use a crusty, crunchy bread that is broken up in the salad. Oatmeal Krispy Cookie: This was my favorite cookie and is their best seller. I can see why people like it so much, it was chewy, but a little too sweet for me. Toffee White Chocolate chip: This cookie was good, but it was really too sweet for me, just a few bites was enough. A lot of people were ordering sandwiches, which looked really good. I would probably get a sandwich next time as that looked like less food than my salad. Reading the other Unilocal reviews I thought that this restaurant had only a handful of select dishes. This is not the case, they have a large number of different options besides those seen in most reviews. There just happens to be a few favorites that most peope try. If you are looking for a nice lunch spot in Burbank you’ve found it.

I walked over to have lunch here during work. Now it is a super cute and trendy restaurant. The outside area for sitting is so relaxing to sit and watch the cars drive by. So definitely loveddd the atmosphere and the vibe of the restaurant. I had the kale salad and added chicken to it and i had a latte. Now the latte was delicious, the salad uhm not so great. So the kale was very dry and there was not enough dressing, it was incredibly bitter as kale is without any dressing. I asked for extra lemon to give it some flavor so i can eat the salad and not be disgusted. The chicken for which i paid an additional 3 dollars was not fresh. It was refrigerated/cold chicken definitely it was not anything special. Now to say I wont be back to try anything else, would be a lie. I will be back to try some other items from their menu. This is definitely not an affordable place to go for lunch. Its not super pricey either.

First off, 5 stars for atmosphere and ambience. I immediately fell in love with this open concept dining experience. This place simply radiates and its nicely decorated glass showcasing many goodies like cakes, cookies, macrons, cheeses, cold pasta salads, etc is beyond words! They have both communal tables and small group tables for 2 – 4 people with also outside patio seating options. You order at the register and pay first before you sit. I ordered their tuna and kale salad that included cherry tomatoes, white beans, scallions, red onions(thinly sliced), kale and tuna(of course) with a meyer lemon dressing. This salad was zesty and refreshing. Every bite was delicious. I will have to come back again to try their avocado & burrata toast which I’ve seen pictures of via Unilocal.Thank goodness this place is right down the street from my work.

My friend and I came here for lunch around 12:30pm on a Friday so I thought there would be a line but there wasn’t(even though the place was definitely packed). I thought the interior design of this place was very clean because of the dominant white color and abundance of natural lighting shining through the large windows. There is also a section filled with goodies like candles, jams, and other random things at the back near the bathrooms that you can purchase. Tip: You can order your food in two places – the cashier at the end of the dessert/pastry/pre-made food bar, or the drinks bar right behind. So if you’re ordering from the regular menu just skip the long line by going to the other register! :D You order your food and then sit wherever with a number card and the server will bring your food to you. 1) B U R R A T A T O A S T The toast comes with a side of salad and 3 small pickles – I’m not a fan of pickles at all so I can’t really comment on it but the salad was okay, too much vinaigrette dressing in my opinion. The burrata(drizzled with some olive oil) is served on top of the toast, avocado, and tomatoes – simple but delicious. Burrata is hands down my favorite cheese so I’m completely biased with this dish because there’s nothing not to love about it. 2) S H O R T R I B S A N D W I C H The short rib is served between two pieces of toasted sour dough bread(not the very hard and crunchy ones, these ones were pretty soft). Normally the sandwich comes with caramelized onions but I’m really not a big fan of that so I ordered it without the onions. The short rib was very flavorful and tender. I liked the sandwich as is but my friend, who’s had the sandwich before, said it’s better with the caramelized onions. So if you like caramelized onions, definitely keep that in there. 3) R I C E K R I S P Y C H O C O L A T E C H I P C O O K I E I was pretty full by the end and wasn’t going to get dessert, but my friend said I had to try their cookies so I got the rice krispy chocolate chip cookie to go. I’m really glad I did because the cookie was bomb dot com! It’s really thin and on the hard side but at the same time it was really chewy. This is definitely a must try! Although I must admit, $ 5 for a cookie is pretty pricey… This place is perfect for a quick brunch!
