Found this on Unilocal,had great breakfast with family, everything made from scratch, the strawberry crepes and Italian sandwich are both wonderful. Even the flowers on the table are beautiful and fresh. Owner is there to recommend us the special soup. It was green bean soup and delicious Great place, feels like you are in the village of Europe

As a long time customer(used to go to the old location all the time) I have to say that every time I eat anywhere else I think, «Magazzino would have made this MUCH better.» From their yummy breakfast items to their savory sandwiches, soups, and salads, you really can’t go wrong. I have yet to try something here I didn’t like and I’ve been coming here for years. Try their egg in a pastry! Or their any of their tasty sandwiches. My personal favorite is the arabo(with added ham). I don’t know how they do it, but everything on the menu is just so so good.

I love Magazzinos! I get the same thing every time! Boring, I know, but it’s delicious. The Chevre sandwich on ciabatta and the soup of the day. Their soups are amazing and one of the many reasons I keep coming back. Great sandwiches, location, people, etc! Go enjoy!

Great stop! Her egg in pastry was really great! The side of crispy bacon made it even better. :) I had the wrap… eggs, sausage, spinach, black beans. Loved that too. Both come w a small salad. Kate’s were also good. The sample of vegan broccoli soup was yummy, too. Next time. We recommend this place 100%.

Myself and my partner just dined here for the first time. The Unilocal reviews and pictures looked great. The food was very tasty but a little on the cold side as though it had been sitting out for a while before it reached our table. We ordered the Italian breakfast sandwich and potato hash. Both very tasty dishes. The staff were very friendly and the service was prompt. Hot food next time please!

So my fiancé and I were in the area and were hungry, it was 10:30am so we decided to grab some breakfast. Hopped onto Unilocal, and we found this place. They have a different soup of the day each day, and today it was a vegan soup with green beans. The soup was very flavorful in my opinion would get again. As for the main course, she had the 5 cheese and egg on pastry with a salad with balsamic glaze dressing. The pastry was awesome and very cheesy. As for me, I had the Italian breakfast sandwich, which was great and very filling. Since it was breakfast, I had to get a cup of coffee as well. Over all, I would recommend but it is a little pricey. The service, is great though, and ambience is like a french setting.

Let’s stroll and enjoy life a little. A brisk walk from any of the high rise buildings in Burbank or the WB Lot. This sandwich spot is a charmer. Indoor or Outdoor patio seating. French music and fresh flowers adorn the quaint restaurant that excels in soup/salad/sandwiches. Soup and ½ sandwich is of the GENEROUS proportion(Lentil soup was outstanding). I feel so relaxed, this might have to become part of the regular lunch repertoire. Thanks Café Magazzino such great service by your friendly staff.

I’m not sure what was in that egg pastry thing, but I’m pretty sure it was magical. Or maybe it was crack. Either way, it was delicious. Also tried the veggie sandwich and vegan broccoli soup. While they weren’t quitee as magical, they were still very tasty. Would still recommend. Also, they have wifi, so feel free to whip out the laptop and chill here for a while. I like this place. Y’all should check it out. I’ll be back

I have never been to burbank before and so this was the very first time I went and walked around there with my friends. So where do I even start? When we had walked across the street, we found this small and fancy café, AND I thought to myself this is just fancy and it’s going to be super expensive. BUT when we went inside, not only is it just fancy for a café but it’s affordable and the staff is super nice to you, they helped us pick our selections and gave us a few choices and answered any questions we have had. I enjoyed eating there, highly recommend to those who live in the area to come here and give it a try! The food is big portion and so you do get a good amount of food, the wait is short they cook and make it right away and so you’re not waiting that long what so ever. The music is calm and peaceful. The staff walks around to make sure you want a refill or if you’re okay until the food is made. The seating inside is a bit small but comfortable, it’s a good place for a get together with friends or family or even that work too. As far as that being said, I don’t know the location haha it’s because we walked there first off, and secondly I’m not from the area but it’s easy to find, shoot if we found it I’m pretty sure you will too and we walked to the place haha. So I hope this review helped! Any questions, ask me and I hope i can answer it, enjoy this fancy small inexpensive place, it’s amazing! Kk bye!

This place is a total gem in Burbank. I was very glad that my friend turned me on to it. My favorites are always their daily soups. They taste fresh, delicious, and vegan to boot! I am always impressed with how great they are. Their sandwiches are huge — even when you order half for the soup/sandwich combo. You definitely get a lot of food for your buck. The service is always great and this really feels like a neighborhood café. I like Olive and Thyme and Simplethings next door, as well as Sweetsalt down the street, but this place feels very low key, not pretentious, and very local.

I love this place. I’ve been here many times for work lunches and have never been disappointed. The tuna salad is my favorite, but the soups are equally delicious. Plus, the soups are made fresh every day. They also have a really good homemade ice tea. I’ve never had problems parking, either at the old or new location. I can’t wait for my next visit.

The Zucchini fennel soup was fresh and delish. Our entire to-go order from this cute little café was fresh and tasty. My Turkey caprese sandwich was very tasty, if you’re in the mood for mild flavors. Two of our group got combos with a half sandwich and salad. This looked excellent. The greens looked very fresh. Next time I’ll try a combo. They forgot our peach iced tea, but they are forgiven because this café is so darn cute and friendly! Since this is Burbank, there’s no parking anywhere ever. 0-; However there are some 10 minute spots down the street so you can get it to go. Don’t get a parking ticket. I’m from San Diego, and I wish I could take Café Magazzino home with me.(-;

Love Love Love this place! Small spot right in the heart burbank… really great décor and ambience. The best part is the food! Its fantastic! My bff and I share the egg in puff, a banana nutella crêpe with a side of bacon and coffee. The food was really well prepared and everything tasted GREAT. The puff pasty was nicely baked with the yummiest cheese ever. The crêpe was a generous size and tasted really good! I cant wait to come back. Its street parking as far as I know… but I found a spot pretty quick. Breakfast for two was about $ 25, pretty reasonable. They also have a gift wall with food gifts and trinkets… it’s a nice touch.

There’s a silver lining to everything unfortunate, right? This morning I was looking forward to having breakfast at a very specific spot. However, upon arrival I was told they will be closing due to a death in a family :( I was saddened by the news and had to break to my friends who were visiting in town. I decided to come her since it was close by and had decent reviews. How cute this little café was! It was about 9:30am on Monday so the small café had plenty of seats open. There was so much I wanted to try, but decided to go for this: EGGIN A PASTRY(KHACHAPURI) — $ 8.95 3 Cheese Blend served on a puff pastry with farm fresh organic egg. Also served with a small salad. Served only before 11am. This made-to-order Georgian dish was simple and amazing. The pastry part was puffy, crispy, warm and buttery. Every bite was amazing because it had the right amount of seasoning. It’s actually more filling than I thought! The salad was small and was served with balsamic dressing, which accompanied it well. I“m so happy I ordered this dish! ITALIANBREAKFASTSANDWICH — $ 11.95 Fried egg, fresh mozzarella, applewood smoked bacon, tomato, basil pesto, on grilled ciabtta. I was torn about getting this one, but my friend was o kind to let me try it! It was delicious! The cold mozzarella balanced out the hot crispy bacon and fried egg that was sandwiched between warm ciabatta. I really enjoyed it and will probably order it the next time I come here. I liked that the basil pesto was subtle. Our server was very nice. He even offered us a sample of the Fennel soup, which was quite tasty! This cute café was very well decorated, have gifts to sell and was all around lovely. I’d like to come back here to order other items on the menu!

Apparently they transferred to this location from a different area and just recently opened. Along the same lines as Olive & Thyme, this small café offers a lot of sandwich, soup, and salad choices and specialty food items. I’m guessing their other location was smaller and sub-par as everyone is excited about how much bigger and nice looking this location is. As I didn’t see the other location, I wouldn’t say that this feels big to me at all, sorta cramped, actually, and the décor is alright but nothing to really fill my review with. I took a sandwich and chips to go as I came from my office and had a ton of work to do. The sandwich certainly tasted fresh. It was a chèvre sandwich with roasted peppers, arugula, and I think there were sun-dried tomatoes on it with a creamy balsamic dressing spread. The flavors worked well together and the bread was certainly freshly baked, it was also roughly ¾ of the sandwich. The chips were great. The menu was a tad small. I would have liked more options, but as they get their bearings I’m guessing they’ll add more. Service was a bit awkward(maybe the whole ‘new location’ thing had everyone thrown off a bit?) Though they were really friendly. All in all, there’s potential to compete against Olive & Thyme if they keep their prices lower and work out the awkwardness of the new location. I wouldn’t be opposed to coming here again, but based on what I saw on the menu, nothing really draws me back.
