This was good! It was my first time trying Acai and it was absolutely delicious! Man the small bowl is more than enough!!! I got the peanut butter bowl and it was GOOD!

If you’re trying to go healthy, then you cant go wrong with this place. Notables: — Spacious place, with a good staff. — Not cheap but not expensive. Fairly-priced($ 6 — $ 9)

Came here for a lunch break. I got the Pitiya(dragon fruit) bowl with kiwi. The size small is plenty large and nearly filled an empty stomach. Ingredients blended well. Just wish they would include coconut flakes at no charge. I chose kiwi for my one free topping, but didn’t want to pay extra for something that normally comes free at any other bowl place. Regardless would return.

First time eating here and I loved it. It won’t be my last. The workers are a little slow but still great. I wish they had a smaller size then just regular but still awesome. I wish they would add little more honey. I love how the fruit is fresh and ripe

Love their acai bowl! It’s like eating dessert for breakfast. I do wish that there is an option to substitute bananas for something else and that there’s a smaller size than the regular. Not sure thought if I like the employees-because they are kind of slow… but it doesn’t bother me as much because I love acai! :)

Ordered a rainforest acai smoothie with mango and pineapple base instead of regular base. She asked if I want strawberry in it, I said ok thinking they usually put. Waitt, they charged extra for mango and pineapple. I simply asked for a different base not adding them extra. She seemed new or at least not knowing how to charge. Other employee came and confirmed its just regular price and that’s other employee told me yesterday. The bad part was she seemed realllly frustrated by this. Her attitude of murmuring, that made me frustrated. Its the time for hunting new Acai place anyways. — — — — — Hi, So actually, I had come to the place the day before the latest review experience. At the time, one of the employee suggested me to get the rainforest smoothie with mango/pineapple base instead for the same price. The next day, I came to try the smoothie and the latest review was what I experienced. It was confusing to me, and maybe to the cashier too, who took my order. Thanks for your reply though.

Great Acai blends with consistent thickness. Not like a purée. Service from the high school kids is crap. Never see a professional manager in there or the owner for that. I’m sure the crap service reduces a fraction of the sales. Just account for extra time when going in or place a phone order to pick up.

First time coming here and probably the last! Service was really bad so disappointed. We had just arrived, and they didn’t even welcome us or said anything. All the employees were talking to each other and laughing. Then our server Muhammed was very rude, giving us an attitude and rushing us. You can just feel that they didn’t want us there I heard one of the employee say ugh 15 more minutes and we CLOSE oh thank god. Like trying to kick us out because they were closing in 15 minutes.

I always enjoy eating here. The acai bowls are prepared fantastic. It’s kind of like a smoothie but a little thicker, with a very nice chill and flavor to it. I typically get the apple cinnamon topped with granola, banana, and strawberries. The fruits are super fresh and go with the acai perfectly. Absolutely delicious. For $ 8 after tax you can get a small bowl and fill yourself up. If you are hungry you can get a large bowl for just a couple bucks more. The store is small but has enough seating for maybe 15 or so people. Clean environment and friendly staff. If you look closely at the floor(not something I usually notice), it is composed of small pebbles. Kind of cool. Super healthy, I would eat this every day for breakfast if I had the opportunity. Hmm… maybe I will.

I decided to try this place again after a year hoping things would get better. The service was A LOT faster this time and I got the bowl I ordered which was nice. I ordered the pitaya bowl(dragon fruit), mango, lychee, and shredded coconut. It was delicious with the banana, honey, and their granola. I have always been a fan of their granola.

Place is small with free wifi. Ample parking. Not too shabby but not a super convenient place to chill and hang out because of the loud blender noises. Tried the pitaya blend for the first time and it wasn’t as sweet as the tropical blend. The color was pretty but I prefer the tropical blend over it any day… sorry pitaya. It didn’t really taste like anything. haha

I hate açai mainly cause it burns my throat, but that’s every açai place. The açai here however isn’t as burning to my throat because they’re very generous with other fruits and honey in the bowls. The price although pricey, definitely is worth it. The parking can be annoying especially with a bank near it!!! Over all real great place and will be coming again soon!

Like the other location off of PCH, the mixes are great, the turnaround time for receiving your order is the same, but like most places, it’s the service that differs. So far this may sound like a negative review towards the service. The truth is I have been coming to this location almost twice a week it seems, usually for breakfast, and every time I order for pick up over the phone and when I walk in, it is always consistent positive service. It’s a little sad that by now half of the staff recognizes who calls in the morning and when I walk in, they know pretty much what I like to order. The service here is honest. Before I order the usual blueberry toppings, they mention to me that because they are out of season they may be sour. Their recommended toppings served just as well on top of their awesome protein power bowls. They aim to please. Maybe not in the«approach-your-table-style» but they will shoot out a story or a recommendation or two which keeps a fun connection to ordering acai. Then again it depends who you’re talking to. And yes, they do smile. =) I never get tired of this place, and if you view my other reviews on different acai bowl places, you’ll see that to come back to the same place more than twice especially, that this acai bowl place has something good going on.

I LOVEACAIBOWLS. Beach Bowls Acai Café gets it right. I always get the regular size. It’s a large portion and serves as a great meal replacement for me. Tropical Blend $ 7.50 — they said this is a blend of acai berries and pineapple. Comes with banana, granola, honey and your choice of another topping. I usually add blueberries and pay extra for coconut flakes. Additional cost is $ 1 for extra toppings. The only flaw to this place is the time it takes to get your order — expect a wait of 10 – 15 minutes! Let’s try to hurry it up people.

HEALTHYNATURALENERGY Agh-sigh-Eee The heat and continuous endurance training requires intake of some natural source of energy. What came to mind was an Acai bowl. The location is easy to find with easy parking — it’s in a plaza. There was plenty of places to sit but only two small round tables — seat 30 people but two tables only enough for max 8 people. That’s odd. Ordering is quick even if there’s a small line but getting your Acai took ten minutes. PATAYAACAIBOWL($ 8) — the dragonfruit(Pataya) blend with the Acai was delicious. The Pataya Acai color was this bright pink instead of the dark purple Acai usually looks like. It comes with granola, honey, and bananas — I added two toppings for $ 0.50 each(blueberries and mango). DONOTGETTHEBLUEBERRIES, THEYWERESOSOUR. After two bites of blueberries I plucked them out because they ruined my bowl. Everything else was great. The natural source of energy kicked in and I ran 5 miles in the heat without feeling sluggish. Until the next review…

What can I say about this place? Their acai bowls are AMAAAAAZING. The smoothies are just«okay». Don’t underestimate the prices though($ 6-$ 9.50). They have regular or large sized bowls and to me, the regular sized bowls are filling! My favorite & go-to acai bowl is the chocolate peanut butter!!! It’s the perfect mix & it’s not too sweet && it’s packed with their protein mix. FILLING, HEALTHY&DELICIOUSFORSURE! FYI, if you’re in a hurry, you can always call them ahead of time, order & pick it up there :)

My go-to acai bowl place! I usually go to the Redondo location because it’s closer to my house but I’ve been to this one a few times too. I also usually call ahead to avoid the long wait but today I just walked in and it only took about 5 min so that was great. My usual is the regular size tropical bowl with blueberries as my topping. Both the regular and large bowls come with your choice of acai blend, granola(really good!), banana, honey, and 1 topping for regular and 2 toppings for large. The regular tropical bowl is $ 7.50 and very filling, more than enough for me. Also, I got my acai bowl with«less cane juice» last time and today with«no cane juice» since even with less it was pretty sweet. The helpful girl working let me know that even with no cane juice the tropical bowl tends to be sweet because of the mango and pineapples blended in the acai. Honestly it tastes almost the same with or without cane juice so I suggest going without it. Good balance of acai, a variety of blends, delicious granola, and plenty of parking!

I’ve reviewed the PCH location but I’ve been to this location on Crenshaw many times more. On my last visit, I discovered something about the açaí bowls that I did not know about before involving the use of bananas. All açaí bowls automatically come with granola, honey, banana topping, and another fruity topping of your choice. I asked for the Pumpkin Açaí Bowl with no banana, no honey, and coconut topping. The cashier gal explained that in addition to the banana toppings, they usually blend banana into the açaí. So she asked if I prefer to also exclude the banana blended in. I was glad she told me so I could nix all banana entirely. It was yum! One downside is that this is not an ideal place to hang out. The blenders are just way too loud for conversations. So I recommend taking the açaí bowl to go, walk over to Wilson Park and enjoy it over there.

Came with my Vegan Home-Girl Harmonie T. Flavor of the bowl was pleasant, not to sweet, not too much extra junk. Mine was topped with honey and coconut slices. I notice some Acai bowls are too sweet, not this one. Vegan options for the bowls(hooray) but the shakes have yogurt in them. This place can be a noisy eating spot because you will hear the bowls and drinks prepared in the open space kitchen. Not a huge place, about the seating area of your typical fro-yo or smoothie place in a strip mall Parking was easy but getting here off the 110 took like 10 minutes. Service was friendly on this Sunday afternoon. Restroom available Very clean Good and bad considered, I cannot think of another Acai place I would prefer to eat, so far, but this is only a personal preference not a definitive standard.
