Stayed here because of the location and it was only for one night(thankfully). We wanted something close to the freeway for a quick exit out of Tucson and Ramada sounded reputable. My first impression upon walking into the room was WOW, but not in an impressed way. Ok give it a chance I say. I walk into the bathroom and now I’m scared to take a shower. The tub is.. I can’t even explain it. Chipped, patched, old and just plain nasty looking. I figure I am going to place a towel on the bottom when I shower. I am not putting my skin on that that tub. My husband decided to sit on the chair in the room and he practically fell into the chair. Heck, we will use it for it luggage I guess. To forget or woes and help blur the vision of this room we placed beers in the freezer for a quick chill. Take my advice-stay someplace else and I can’t wait for checkout.

Filled with mosquitoes. Killed one. To my horror, when I flushed it, four more came flying out from in the toilet. Had someone come in to spray the room. the four died but more were spotted. Crumbs under the sheets. Blankets were old looking. Over charged me by a hundred dollars.

On a recent road trip, I found that the quality of a hotel is highly aligned to the quality of the bathroom. In this case, that’s not a good thing. Though the bathroom was«clean,» it was not well maintained. To be clear, I have no problem with housecleaning, they’re doing their job. My beef is with the management that thinks it’s ok to not replaced cracked tiles, and to have obvious, and growing, gaps in the caulking along fixtures. Yuck. I don’t like that, it irrationally bothers me. The rest of the room was fine. They offer free breakfast, but it wasn’t good. They do the«make your own» waffles– Blah! Not sure what’s up with the batter, but I didn’t enjoy it. However, I did get this hotel on Hotwire for an amazingly cheap deal. So that makes me not hate this place. Guess I just got what I paid for…
