Okay, so the place is cheap, right? You get what you pay for — that’s what I always say, but you couldn’t pay me to stay here! I needed a cheap place to crash about a month ago, maybe longer. The gem show was in town, and everything was booked. I came here, paid my entire 40 bucks, and walked up to my room. On the way to my room, I was approached by someone asking me if I had a meth pipe. At first I thought he was joking, then I saw the meth. No big deal. It’s just the side of town, right? I get to the room, and as soon as I open the door, I was plowed in the face by the hot, steamy smell of cat piss. Delish. I sat my purse down and noticed a roach crawling from beneath it. I had to pee REALLY bad, so I ran for my life past all of the bugs on the floor, the walls, the ceiling and noticed them in the toilet. Hell to the no. I’m only giving it one star because of two reasons: 1) You can’t go lower. 2) They actually gave me a refund, but it took seven days to hit my account. Unless you’re a prostitute high on meth or heroine(hey, that meth guy may still be there if you wanna chill), you ain’t gonna like it here. Go down the street to the Motel 6 and dish out the extra $ 20. I need to take a shower in bleach just remembering the experience.

DONOTBOOKROOMSATTHISPLACE. My boyfriend failed to research and/or check the Unilocal ratings before he booked and he paid the price. This place is awful. When we arrived we should have just refused to stay there right from the beginning, but wanted to at least look at the room and try to make it work. Approximately 15 feet from the front door to the room, homeless and other various were sleeping and etc. There was definitely drug use going on and who knows what other illegal activity. I did not feel safe leaving our car parked in the parking lot. Inside the room there were dirty and stained bed linens, holes in the bathroom wall. Everything was extremely dirty and live bugs crawling on the walls. Unacceptable! Honestly I didn’t even sit down or touch anything I was worried there could be bed bugs. About 10 – 15 minutes later we walked back to the front desk(our room was the furthest from the front desk so involved a bit of a walk) and were informed that they would not refund us the room rate even though we were leaving. This place is disgusting! I think it should be investigated and/or shut down. Obviously we left and just ate the fee, because there is no way that we could stay at this place. BUYERBEWARE!!!

I stayed here for a week. The room was nice and cozy, AC worked really well cooled the whole room within half an hour. However me and my boyfriend discovered many bugs a few nights after staying here. That’s room was the only reason I gave it 2 stars. This is a very ghetto area. This«hotel» is the hot spot for drug deals and prostitute hook ups. May I add there is a crack head who has been hanging around this hotel talking to himself and making not only me but other guests uncomfortable. The service was good very friendly. If your planning on staying here for a night or two this place isn’t that bad. But if you have children be cautious. I only stayed here for this long because of the price but I’m sure if you look you could find something better.

I have never left feedback for a service or product ever. But after my experience with regal. I think people really need to know what staying at regal is really like. Bed bugs and roaches are every where, talked to another guest who tried to sale me drugs and when he saw the shock in my face. He told me how this is not a hotel. But tucsons«new jack city». Had to do research to figure out what he was trying to tell me. Basically this is where people go to buy drugs and do them. I saw cops raid 2 rooms and several people arrested… There’s soo so much more I could explain… Smoke smelled, run down and the av didn’t even work in 100 degree weather.

BEDBUGS N ROACHES. STAYAWAY… Staff is very nice. The ones I talked to anyways. Rented a room for two people. Only get ONETOWEL for two people. Roaches coming out everywhere. NASTY. They said they just got done redoing the rooms. They need to hire better painters. Need to tear it down and start again. I will say i got a refund. But that doesn’t help the bites I got from the bed. Doesn’t help the thought of having to use the restroom and having roaches crawling on the on the seat. Plus now I have to buy new new stuff because I can’t take it home. Wifi sucked. Kept going out every 5 mins. Just all around sucked to stay there. If you spend the night leave your personal things in the car. Heck motel 6 is the same price and way better. Wont ever stay there again.

STAYAWAY! Worst service ever. Management was very rude. Asked for non smoking and got a stale smoking room. Asked for a refund because the room was disgusting and they refused. Gave us another room that was better but still had bedbugs. Had some creep following my husband around the building as if he wanted to know where we were staying. Was super freaky. Check out time was at 11 but we wanted out of there sooner. Sat and waited for over an hour from 600 – 7:20 for someone to show up at the front desk and still nothing. Finally just left. Would never go back!

A night of prostitutes, a wanted murderer arrested by federal police, fights, broken glass, stained sheets, smelly pillows, and perhaps a few bed bugs. Please enjoy your stay at the Regal Inn while visiting Tucson, Arizona. After a long day of driving a U-Haul across the country, 13 hours to be exact, my friend and I found ourselves so tired to continue driving that decided to crash at the first motel in our sight. The Regal Inn it was. While traveling around the world I have slept inside my sleeping bag on sidewalk, parks, train stations, and yet I never felt exposed to dirtiness the way I felt here. We only slept about 4 hours before we decided just to leave. It was finally the police breaking through the glass which told us it was time to go. On a positive note, it was entertaining to sit at the restaurant across the way, The Waffle House, and see women coming out from the hotel towards the restaurant with cash in their hands. Little did we know that they were just asking the staff at the restaurant to verify the validity of the $ 100 bills they had somehow obtained.
