Travel Inn

Ok, for $ 22.99 a night I really shouldn’t complain, but I have to. I put up a friend here for a few days. Rooms are very small but clean and remodeled. No frills but clean. Has a fridge and microwave which was an added bonus. The proprietor seemed reasonable, however, when I extended my guest’s stay for a few days, I called to see if I could pay them over the phone. I spoke with a man who spoke very broken english who told me he would charge my credit card and I could sign for it 2 days later after check out. 3 hours later, my guest gets a threatening call from the other manager (the son of the first guy apparently) stating he was going to call the police to have him thrown out in 10 minutes if I did not sign for the room. I understand you have to deal with less than savory characters in the motel business, but this was the wrong way to handle it. Long story short, I faxed him a signature and it was fixed, but the way it was handled was very poor.
