Wonderful server and chef. GF taquitos with slaw were great! Fun and relaxing atmosphere.

i was hoping to keep this place at a 3 or better stars but i didnt get my tequila and taco for thirty minutes. The server(man) asked me what i wanted, i told him. then he questioned me about the people that left, and he went to go chase them because they had ditched there bill. he comes back 10 – 15 mins later and asks me again what i want. I said ”I already told you… ” and he told me he was chasing them down. well, that didnt seem right to me at all. but i ordered a patron and taco. He took 10 minutes to get my patron, and didnt even give me a lime. I waited 10 more minutes for the taco to wash down my tequila and get my limes, so itd be perfect. heres a tip: take care of the customers that are there… TIP2 dont question me about people leaving as i have something to do with the choices of other people. he made my life hell that night because he was frustrated or blaming someone. probably me.

Omg worst place! Service SUCKED, the worst food I’ve ever had. Finally, my credit card was charge twice for a meal I can’t believe I even agreed to pay for. Staff was very unprofessional.

Wish I could leave no stars! This place was horrible. Customer service was bad, food was not great, that made a mistake on our bills and did charge us for something and then had security follow us around like we were criminals!!! It was their mistake and we had no idea about it until we were harrased by then and security. NEVERAGAINWILL I GOHERE. We were celebrating our friends bachelorette party an me this totally milked the mods of the night.

I love this place I had their ceviche and their cocktails which were delicious a little too sweet but still very good. The ceviche might look small but its enough to fill you up trust me and its sooooo yummy. Great place before you go gamble and hang out with friends it’s inside the casino =) also a good place to go after you gamble. If you are ever in Tucson I recommend this place our bartender was awesome and polite. XOXO– Daisy from Cali

Food is pretty good and it’s right next to the slots so that’s a plus. The wife and I had the buffet, which was great, but it was overpriced. Again this is probably because of the location, but I didn’t like the price. Server was quick to refill our drinks, which was nice since most of the time you get a buffet you can forgot about your server checking on you for refills. Definitely check this place out if you are at the casino.

Ordered the tacos, 2 beef and one pork with additional rice and beans. Yes, you have to buy each side individually. I recommend the pork tacos. They come with a delicious fresh salsa that includes diced mango. The charro beans weren’t very warm and the salsa is not even worth mentioning. The meats are slow cooked, not grilled. Service was good but because of beans and salsa, giving 3 stars.

Horrible! Ordered margaritas, took 20 mon to arrive. Sweet waitress but food which was only four orders of tacos took over 40 min to get to table! Food was bland and COLD,. We were late to the concert at the casino amphitheater. We thought it’d be a quick dinner, obviously it wasn’t!

We tried to eat here tonight for the first time in many months. Turns out the menu has changed dramatically, and the prices have gone up considerably(I think Unilocal should reconsider the $$ rating). We were bummed to see one of our favorite dishes gone(flat enchiladas) – one of many items on a menu of combination plates that is now absent on the new menu that is worse and more expensive. If you are a vegetarian(like me), you are basically SOL with 99% of the menu. Every single appetizer and almost every entrée are meat based. And forget the rice, refried beans and whole beans– chicken stock, lard and bacon are used respectively. My husband thinks they are trying too much to be like Vegas, at the cost of options and regular local Tucson customers(we defintely won’t be back). We ended up at the buffet instead. With Casa Molina and Little Mexico right down the street, there’s no reason to pay more to settle for less.

Not an authentic Mexican food restaurant. I went for the food. I ordered a fish taco, it had mango and cucumber salsa. The fish was a little to spicy for me. It had a Cajun spice on it. It cost $ 3.50. I had a shrimp taco and it was more like a mini quesadilla. I was disappointed in the margarita. I ordered a house on the rocks. It tasted like a chemical. I had them take it back and got a prickly pear. This one tasted like an original margarita. It came in a 5oz glass and cost $ 10. Not much alcohol. I won’t go back. Disappointed because it’s a tequila restaurant. I really hoped for a good margarita.

This isn’t a bad Mexican restaurant. And it’s pretty decently price, especially for being in a casino. I had a very yummy chimichanga and a delicious pomegranate margarita. Our server was really sweet. And they have a really nice happy hour. I could imagine going back if I were ever at the casino again.

We ate here over the 4th of July weekend. The service was slow and we had to remind our server multiple times to bring things… at times we were unable to even find him and had to flag down other servers to get what we needed. When we were first seated no one came to our table for a good 10 minutes. This being said– the food was very good. We had the Chicken Arizona($ 10) which was grilled chicken topped with avocado, green chilies and pepper jack cheese. It also came with calabacitas and rice– very good. I had the«Number Three»($ 9) — red chile beef tamale and green corn tamale topped with elote sauce and cheese. These were super super good. I’ve eaten many a tamale in my day, and these were pretty memorable. Also, since it was the 20th anniversary celebration for the casino, they had twenty cent beers from 8 – 9(they were not full sized pints, but hey, you can’t complain for .20 a beer) and $ 2 anniversary cocktails in a commemorative glass. These were good for one or two, but they were really acidic and caught up with me after a bit for the reason. They can bring you like 4 at a time… just saying…

You might think a casino that caters to such an eclectic mix of tourists and residents would have a Mexican restaurant that only serves sub-standard food that’s meant to please a wide palette of tastes, but The Tequila Factory is actually a surprisingly inexpensive and delightful Mexican food option in Tucson. I’ve been there three times over the last year and each time I end the night with the Churro Sundae. This dessert is so tasty that I’ve actually just ordered it without any other appetizer or entrée. The best part is it’s pretty cheap, so you still have plenty of money to lose at the casino when you’re done with dinner. Overall, most of the dishes at Tequila Factory are shockingly inexpensive. I figured being in a casino would up the prices considerably, but I’ve found this is cheaper than some other options in Tucson, and just as delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend any of the combination dinners, especially Number 7, which comes with three pork carnitas tacos. It’s one of the pricier options at $ 11 but you get so much food to stuff your face with, you’ll need to either share it(not recommended) or take some home with you(highly recommended). If there’s one downside to Tequila Factory it’s likely to be the service. As I’ve said, I’ve been there three times and the service has been mixed on each occasion. Some visits have had very attentive waiters and others have had ones where my group was waiting a while just for more chips and salsa. It’s not enough to change my mind about going back though.

The worst service. My friend and I sat at the bar and weren’t greeted for 5 minutes. I asked for a water and she ordered a pomegranate margarita. I got my water immediately, she never got her drink. When she(Kara) brought my water, we placed our order. My tortilla soup came out a few minutes later and was delicious. Her guacamole was made table side and it was also good. We sat there for 25 more minutes(my friend still has nothing to drink) before a different bartender checked on us. We left shortly after.

Oh man mixed reviews within my family for this location. I love this place. I order the carne asada dish every-time I go and it is delicious. The family says the tacos aren’t the best so I dont recommend them. Their Tequila flights are amazing 3 shots $ 11 – 22 and tje selection is amazing! Happy hour prices are great — shot of Don Julio 70th edition Anejo $ 11! Service is so-so as in they dont mess up they are friendly but some dont really conversate with you. The southwestern décor is pretty and somewhat comfy definitely accommodating to large families parties. Never had to wait to long to be seated. We have been there for just a normal dinner, bringing out of towners and romantic birthday dinner. Oh and you can take kids too!

I was hungry prior to playing bingo and the casino, so I bellied up to the bar at Tequila Factory. Our bartender was super friendly. I loved the look of the restaurant, from the copper fire bowl in the middle of the restaurant to the tequila distiller to the hanging rotating bottles of tequila from the ceiling. The bar area even has an area where you can sit more in the casino for some people watching. Who doesn’t like to see grannies hobbling around with their bingo totes jammed full of every color bingo dauber under the sun looking like crazed loons? They have over 120 different bottles of tequila. Saturday is the day to dine here, as the house margaritas are only three dollars and they are GREAT! I also tried their Paloma($ 9) which uses house sage infused blanco tequila, fresh lime and a side bottle of grapefruit Jarritos. It was perfecto! My husband ordered the nacho and it was a mere $ 3. I really enjoyed their tortilla chips and house salsa. So, they won me over on killer drinks for sure, but the star of the show was the one of their signature dishes, the Bistec Al Adobo. The steak had a wonderful sear and I want to cover myself in the chili demi glaze. It was served with heavenly poblano bacon au gratin and grilled corn served Mexican style with cotija cheese. They use Harris Ranch beef. I rarely finish my meal, but I was a member of the clean plate club for sure! They have different soups and drinks and all you can eat specials with the topopo salad bar each day. They also will have a tequila of the day. Next time I think I might try a tequila flight. So, with my belly full from one of the best meals I had in a long time, I got a to go cup of margarita and headed off to test my mojo at bingo. Can I get an O-69 anyone?

i would really give this place a 1.5, We did not eat the buffet it was scary, we sat in the bar, with no table service. We asked if we could order food, and they said yes if we ordered from the bartender. We went and tried to order from the bartender and she said we could only order food in the restaurant. I thought we were in the restaurant evidently the bar does not count we had to be 2 feet over to be in the restaurant. We then went to the manager, and he sent a server named Feliz. 45 minutes later, she was very nice and the food was not bad. Come on though, we were eventually served, but why don’t they make things easy for people to give them money for a service. Way too much trouble.

On the second night of our trip, we decided to give this joint a try. The standard complimentary Chips & Salsa are served when you sit down. We asked the waiter for extra spicy Salsa and he gladly obliged with a Habanero Salsa that kicks your heiney… yum! After browsing the menu, we decided to order: Cheese Crisp, $ 3 2 Crispy Tacos &1 Bean tostada, $ 12 Chicken Arizona(Chicken Breast, Avocados, Tomatoes, Green Chile, Pepper Jack Cheese, Veggies, Spanish Rice), $ 10 Number 6 — 3 Soft Tacos(Carne de Cabeza, Trepas de Leche, Chicharron), $ 12 The Cheese Crisp was ok. So was my Tacos & Tostada. I wasn’t overly blown away with it. The Better Half had the Number 6 combo and it was a little to exotic for her. She didn’t realize that she was ordering Cow Brains, Cow Stomach, and Pork Skins… LOL Kiddo had the Chicken Arizona and he was very pleased with it. Overall, it’s an OK dining experience.
