If I could have given it ZERO stars I would have… The buffalo chicken salad came swimming in hot sauce, you would have had to be blind not to see it and the broccoli rabe was rotted and cooked with the dirty end stems, not to mention there was a piece of foil swimming around in it. Order from here all the time but after today they will no longer get my business or anyone else I know here at work, They should be ashamed to send food to a Customer the way they did but that’s just because they don’t care… which is also evident when you call to let them know… Not to mention how the delivery guy conveniently had no change on him. Called to let them know, had no answer for me, said they would resend the salad, still waiting…

Disgusting pizza. Always arrives cold and the delivery guy is a prick. They sent over cold pizza, mozzarella sticks and wings and had the audacity to give me an attitude when I called and ask for my money back. They took an hour to return my money which means I didn’t even get time to order dinner that night, everything was closed. I will never order from there again.

About 15 years ago I went here ALL the time and it was fantastic. Then it started slipping. Every so often we’ll go back in, or order something, to see how it is, and it’s just not great anymore. The place needs a serious makeover, really badly. The food is very hit-or-miss, and so is the reliability of the delivery service and the friendliness of the staff. On a great day they’re still a good place, but it’s impossible to predict those great days.

Ordered off Grub Hub the other day. They said they’d arrive at a certain time. Fine. 15 mins afterwards and after waiting a total of 90 mins for food, I gave them a call only to be told, «The delivery guy’s already out.» When I asked when the delivery guy left the store, just to get an idea of estimate arrival, he went, «Don’t know.» When the delivery guy came, he apologized, which was polite. Way more polite than the guy over the phone. But … the pizza was already room temperature. Not even warm anymore. Same went for the buffalo wings. Room temperature. We had to reheat everything up to eat it. The prices are decent and it was pretty good once you warmed it back up. But I’ve definitely had better pizza that showed up on time and still piping hot.

While waiting for food, owner is smoking a cigarette in front with door open filling the restaurant with cigarette fumes… nasty!!! The place is filthy and we waited 35 minutes for a pizza that was way over piled with cheese and barely any sauce. I am still sick from the pizza two days later. I’m from the BX and used to hole in the walls, but at least the food in the city is delicious and quick. I seriously question when the last time the health inspector was in this restaurant.

Do not call this place and make an order over the phone because the person who answered was very rude and not pleasant. I will never order from this place again. I am not giving my hard earn money to people who are rude and not customer friendly. This pizzeria left a bad taste in my mouth and I haven’t even tasted the food I was just making an order for my boyfriend.

The Worker’s alone will prevent me from a 2nd visit. They are not customer friend, unprofessional and unpleasant. If you dine in and ask for a box to carry out the rest of a pie, they will give you a bag and tell you they don’t give boxes. They treat the local community students like the don’t exist. Unfresh and dated bathrooms. And pizza is average tasting.

The only reason I’m giving them three stars is because the pizza is always delicious but the restaurant is absolutely disgusting. The bathroom looked and smelt like a dump. I don’t think I’ll be going back for dine in for a long time.

The name of this place should be changed to Dirty Nino’s. Honestly don’t understand how they pass inspections with a dirty place like theirs. never going back, going the first time was a mistake!

The shrimp & chicken Alfredo was beyond disgusting. The pizza used to be of better quality not its not same. Doesn’t taste as good as it used to.

Ordered chicken wings and a meatball sub. Both obviously frozen and tasteless. Don’t waste your money. I threw the food in the garbage.

1 star for the pizza. Minus 4 stars for the price and attitude of the workers. Menu states that a large(pick up) is 10 + tax… I feel like they are running some type of scam since the pie came to 12+ bucks. Bottom line, fix your damn menu & attitude Mr. Nino. The prices were unclear and the staff were unpleasant & unwelcoming. When I was placing my order one guy turned his back like he could careless about what I was asking for. I won’t be going back there. I don’t think businesses realize that their customer service will determine if someone wants to support them. I guess they don’t care for black patrons or something…

The Pizza tonight was disgusting. They used dough that was already cooked and on the fridge, threw on some cheese and put it in the oven for a few minutes. Horrible horrible horrible! Not what it used to be. I feel cheated

Very unfriendly staff. In the middle of winter they didn’t have the heat on(presumably to save money since they have a terrible business) and had to wear a winter coat while we ate. Food took an eternity to be cooked and when the chicken came out it was undercooked and on a plate which was dirty with grease and lint.

First time customer… NEVERAGAIN!!! We decided to place an order to be delivered at 7:15 for a large pizza and fries… Nothing elaborate or complicated I must add… One hour later I call the number and ask if it was one its way they replied it should be there in 5 mins… Wellll 30 mins later I call again to no answer on the phone or a signal that sounded like the old aol dial up sound… 10 mins later the delivery boy calls I tell him I tried calling 5 times and no longer desire the order and he calls me three more times and said his boss would give me a discount of 3 bucks well I’m sorry no thank you try picking up your phone and not ignoring it… thank you! So disappointed I will tell everyone I know in the area to avoid this place which sucks cuz I know a lot of people !

Update 3÷1÷15: I’ll just say this for updating my review to five stars: We all have«our place» for pizza. For me, it’s Mr. Ninos – I’m a regular and pretty much order the same thing every time. I’ve never been disappointed since first ordering here – I’ll take a greasy slice over a fancied up artisan pie from Nino’s any day. –XXL Pizza Slice(regular/cheese)($ 1.85): It really is an XXL slice of pizza; I’d say it’s about a foot long, give or take an inch or two. The regular is only topped with cheese, but it does fill a craving. I bought this just to figure out if a whole pizza here would be worth buying for my party. After watching the guy making the pizzas top a whole pie with plenty of cheese, I was content. The cheese they use isn’t too salty and the tomato sauce was pretty light; it’s not as tangy as I was expecting. –30in. XXL Pizza with Sausage($ 29.50): I don’t think I’ve ever paid this much for a one topping pizza. Then again, I don’t think I’ve ever ordered a pizza larger than 18in. Mr. Nino’s «thin crust» pizza is actually pretty good; however, only the crust had a slight crispiness in every bite. The«sausage» they used looked a lot more like gyro meat, no joke. I was thinking that the sausage would be round thick globs of pork, but they were strips of seasoned gyro meat. It actually worked well. –Broccoli Rabe and Grilled Chicken Hero($ 6.95): The owner knows this is my favorite since I literally order this every time I’m here. Perfect sized sandwich with plenty of chicken, broccoli rabe, and garlic in a brown sauce. They ran out of broccoli rabe once – I got regular broccoli instead – but I still enjoyed it. No need to add anything to it. –Chicken Wings(Hot)(10/$ 7.99 and 20/$ 15.49): My kind of wings. They only use wingettes and drummettes but they are drenched in plenty of hot sauce. From what I’ve learned in this state, saying«buffalo wings» gets you breaded and fried chicken with barely a hint of spiciness. The first time I ordered wings was great, but the second time I bought some wings(same day I bought the 30″ pizza), they used the wrong sauce. I ended up getting BBQ sauce covered wings which I absolutely hate. We still ate them at the party, though. Keep in mind that ordering a regular 30in. pizza is only topped with cheese; additional toppings are $ 6 each. No need to call a day before or whatever – XXL pizzas are ready in about 30 – 40 minutes.

People are always saying how awesome NYC pizza is supposed to be and it can’t get better than that. I’m sorry but those people are clearly mistaken. I used to come here all the time when I lived back home in NJ and I miss it from time to time. Whenever I am in NJ I always have to stop by and grab a slice. You will not be disappointed. First of all their slices are HUGE. One slice is basically two slices in one. Their pizza has a lot of flavor and the crust is crispy, just right for me. Especially for the price, definitely beats what you pay for in NYC and this is probably the best pizza place in Union County hands down. Don’t even bother with those other places like Dominos or Pizza Hut, if you want real pizza go here. You’ll get way better quality. I think I’ve seen some older reviews somewhere around the internet or here saying that the staff can seem a little stand-offish, but in my experience that’s just the way it is in little pizza places like these unless you’re a regular face and they know you. Despite this, just don’t say anything and get the pizza since that’s what it’s all about.
