Nice ambiance. Food is reasonable but not exceptional. Had a fish sandwich for lunch. More bread than fish. Service is average. Location near beach is tough to beat.

Terrific location overlooking the ocean. Food was fresh, well prepared and nicely presented. The selection was a bit limited. Service was just okay. I’ll come back but I’m not in a rush to do so.

Came back here after a long hiatus. Did not disappoint! Chef personally recommended the mushrooms which were phenomenal. Sliced duck breast with brussel sprouts and bacon was also quite delicious, but grouper was the crown jewel of the evening.

Nice location, by the beach. Complimentary bread with hummus was wonderful. The four of us liked our meal, but had same critique, flavor is lacking. My lamb and hubby’s steak, meat was very tender and juicy, but lacking seasoning which is disappointing.

Came recently for the prefixed menu with friends, which is very cheap relatively speaking, only to learn that they canceled it for the winter seasons. Very sneaky. So instead of leaving, we stayed. The food was good, but just way over priced and not high enough quality to justify it. $ 25 for a burger, $ 49 for a steak, $ 3 for extra bread, etc. I mean those are New York City 5-star steakhouses. The only redeeming quality of this place was that you can sit outside near the ocean. That’s what you are over paying for. In review, good but over priced food with a view of the ocean.

Right up front, you cannot beat the location and that’s what they are banking on. For the price, go elsewhere. Let’s start with impossible parking and no valet. The lunch menu was very limited and offered nothing you would expect from such a location, such as a fresh fish option or a main course salad. They offered sandwiches and burgers primarily and nothing to write home about or worth $ 14. The hamburger was smaller than the brioche bun, but the fries were good. Nothing creative here. The turkey burger was whatever. The big hit was the Arnold Palmers which came with fresh lemonade in Bill’s Lemonade souvenir cups, kinda silly for the restaurant, but I loved them and took them home. The dessert menu offered sample bites, which was great, but we didn’t bite. Perhaps our bad on that one. With the competition, go for drinks on the Veranda or try dinner, but for lunch, I would opt for someplace else. Not angry. Just «meh» like the two stars says.

It is with a heavy heart I have to write this review and give only two stars. We had dined here 4 or 5 times last season and it was amazing. Truly a great experience. But our experience this week was not good. We ordered our meal and the place was at least 40% empty as we dined early. The waitress took our order promptly however we sat there for 45 minutes before our food came. I ordered the Prime Burger medium well and it was seared black on both sides. It was very dry and I had to smother it in ketchup to make it edible. The tomato & mozzarella salad was heavy in oil. So much that it destroyed any taste of the tomatoes and cheese. Because the staff is so nice I will give it one more try to see if it was an anomaly.

What a horrible experience. Flew in from NYC and this place was recommended and we had zero service. Sat at bar due to a 2 hour wait and bartenders were rude, ignored us and wouldn’t provide menus. I had to leave the bar three times to get one menu and then we couldn’t get any help after. After 35 minutes and asking 7 times for help to order, we still got no attention and left. An overall top worst dining experience and I’ll be sure my NYC foodie friends are warned! Fire your management and bartenders!

Outstanding experience. Food, service and ambience all excellent. Our server, Julia, was superb. Her knowledge of the menu and «can do» attitude was welcome and refreshing. The food was creative and perfectly prepared. My wife had the special Durac pork chop. It was succulent and there was no issue with substituting potato purée for squash purée. My veal flank steak was great, but the pasta side even better. We come to Vero at least twice a year and Citrus has now become a go to place.

It was our first time here, i was looking for a good restaurant to celebrate my husbands birthday.
Our waiter, Vernon was fantastic and the food was fresh, great flavor along with being cooked to perfection.
We will be back to try some if the other dishes on the menu.

Everything about this place is stellar. From the incredible ambiance (indoor, outdoor, and romantic side patio) all with incredible views of the sea, to the service and the meal.
From the hostess, to the servers, bus service, bartenders and Chef Scott; the entire experience was top notch. Hummus was brought to the table with the bread and it was so fresh! One person at our table had a gluten allergy so they brought celery with the hummus (very accommodating on our servers part).
I had the filet, fresh green beans and potatoes and the steak was incredible. Cooked perfectly and so tender.
For dessert we had a bunch of various items (including a GF option) and they were absolutely delightful.
Our whole group is still blown away by the service we received tonight from every single person working. Vero Beach is very lucky to have this place. I’m jealous.

This was really good.
Outside seating with good ocean view (if you’re facing the right direction… snag that seat).
The food, presentation of food and service were really top-notch. Drinks were good.
I really enjoyed being here and will visit again when I’m in the area.

We had a reservation for 8:15pm. We got there on time and were seated by a very friendly hostess immediately. The restaurant was packed. Once seated we waited for over 15minutes before the person served us water and gave us the menus, still our server was not in sight. After about 25minutes our server final made it to our table. He was very friendly and apologetic. He took our orders from the overly priced menu. It took another 1 hour to get our food and the server kept on apologizing saying their grill was too small for the number of pax at the restaurant. Eventually we got our food. Definitely NOT value for money in term of quality and portion size. I’ve eaten at some of the nicest restaurants around the world and I have never seen a restaurant with such high prices with such terrible service and average food.
We went with a group of four plus our baby. The hostess should have warned us about the wait time to be served or should have never taken our reservation. I only rate for two and not one due to the server being apologetic otherwise this place is not worth visiting for dinner.

If you are looking for a meal with a great view Citrus Grillhouse is the place for you. We were driving along the A1A in Florida searching for a restaurant on the beach. We found CG. My sister and I shared a grilled mahi sandwich and a turkey burger. Both delicious with a great mixed greens salad. There special was fish and chips which my husband choose. Two big pieces of fish with a pile of fries. Service was exceptional. Hope you get to try it someday

Halibut is excellent, as well as the truffle pasta. Excellent service with lots of friendly and well-mannered servers, all wearing matching bright-colored Ralph Lauren Polo shirts.

Citrus Grill has a lively atmosphere with an extremely competent wait staff. We started with grapefruit martinis. They were delicious without being heavy handed on vodka; nor too bitter or too sweet.
Our appetizer was the «beat salad.» I put it in quotes because it wasn’t as much a salad as five pieces of beats on cheese. Each one was delicious.
For dinner we enjoyed the fresh scallops grilled and steak fillet. The scallops were well prepared, but not the best I’ve ever had. The fillet was fantastic. As good or better than any I’ve had anywhere, including Chicago’s Smith & Wollensky.
The green beans that accompanied dinner were tasty, but a little tough. The butter truffle french fries are fantastic. If you are an in the area, treat yourself to the fries and a martini.
Lastly, a note about the service. Our server graciously suggested, without prompting, a delicious Chilean red wine and brought a flight including the wine we picked and her suggestion. It was a good suggestion.
One peculiar thing was the server’s insistence that we place our complete order, dinner and appetizer, before anything would be brought.
