The food is excellently prepared and the staff are genuinely concerned that the customer is happy with the meal or they will make it right. The Friday night fish fry is one of the best I have ever had. It is all your can eat Alaskan Pollock and is very lightly battered. Their breakfast menu has a lot of options from the basic bacon & eggs to Eggs Benedict. Hours are from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm Sun-Thursday and 5:30 am to 9:00 pm Friday-Saturday. Eat here and you won’t regret it.

Came here on a Sunday at 10:00 a.m. when many other restaurants were jammed with people. This place was very busy but there were a couple of tables available. Waitress was very friendly and service was quick. Ordered eggs, bacon, grits, toast and all were prepared just as ordered. Hubby ordered pancakes and sausage. Excellent, especially the sausage, which was huge and tasty. Only complaint I had was the bacon – 2 very thin pieces. Should have ordered the sausage.

I love breakfast… and these people know breakfast. It’s is an awesome little dive that outgrew they’re first location they were such a hit. The walls are covered with local art and memorabilia… some of which are painting by the Florida highwaymen. Lunch is great too and the service is 5 star

I come here every time I come to Vero from Orlando. I’ve only had breakfast but it’s always delicious and comforting and cooked the way I ask. It’s not the cheapest, but I don’t care about that, I want good food prepared the way I want and they’re ALWAYS on target. Love this place!

Had a great dinner on vacation. Food and service was excellent. Rib eye steak, prime rib and London broil were enjoyed by all. Dessert of chocolate cake and bread pudding were delicious. Only reason 4 and not 5 stars was that server never mentioned specials and a 6:30 on a Friday night, they ran out of cornbread

Very«fatty» food. Over salted and calorie laden, but if you want to splurge on this, go for it. Very cheerful waitresses.

I’ve wanted to try this place for their Prime Rib dinner for quite some time. My boyfriend and I decided to give it a try for Sunday breakfast… we love breakfast out. Best darn sausage gravy in Vero Beach… possibly best anywhere… sorry Mom! ^_– This place was my call… and I sure called it… it will definitely be my first choice for breakfast next time! Think I’m gonna have to give the Prime Rib dinner a shot now for sure! Best bet for breakfast is to get there before 9:30am.we got there just after 9 am and by 10am the place was filling up fast!

Went here Sunday morning for breakfast with the girlfriend. Two words: Sausage Gravy. OMG. Look, I’m an olé Mississippi boy and I know a few things about biscuits and sausage gravy, but I never thought I’d find –I’m pretty sure– the best sausage gravy I’ve ever had right here in olé Zero Beach. The biscuits there were HUGE — I mean, HUGE! And again, that sausage gravy… My eggs were a perfectly cooked over-medium. I’m a real bitch when a restaurant doesn’t cook my eggs right. Sorry, but I am. Southern Comfort Grill is located over by Miracle Mile in the shopping center close to Fresh Market. Mind you, I’ve only had breakfast here but it sure was good. I’ll be back.

Quiet Satuday mid-afternoon. I’m being too lazy to write up the whole thing, but the value was very good. Fairly good service, excellent omelet with super peppery sausage gravy. Cobb salad with black eyed peas — average. Rich coffee. Cornbread a bit dry in tiny little cupcakes. We’ll go back.

Busy this Sunday in their new location. Service was pretty bad — lots of serving people running around without a real clue. Decent menu but they nickel and dime for everything, $ 1 more if you want cream cheese w/your bagel(which was a little tub of no name cream cheese). They won’t take Amex because of the fees. Not really worth a return visit. Food if u can call it that was pretty dismal. One young couple next to us walked out the service was so bad.
