Outback Steakhouse

Was super packed, took me forever to get a beer, AND they cooked my food WRONG! They fixed it but I was running late and had to take it for Carry out and didn’t even get to enjoy the atmosphere.
Florida is beautiful and I love vacationing here but this wouldn’t happen in NEW YORK!
The out back steak houses in New York are hands down the best, no question case closed, as well as everything else about New York.
Would go again tho.

I go to this location twice a month at least always good food and great service! Request Sinead she was our server, very friendly and entertaining!

Napkins smell like grease. Walking up to the place you see a lot of parking spots, all for take out.
It took an hour to get our food… hell a hamburger and steak both medium rare takes an hour left a 10% tip, only because we had to ask for forks… we’ll never go to that place again BTW it only had about 20 people in the whole place.

We had a gift certificate for Outback so this was why we went. I doubt we’ll be back. They had a big crate of really huge onions in the front entryway and my son and I were amazed at how big they were, so we decided to get a Blooming Onion.
Well first I should back up and say that we had a nice enough waitress, but kept disappearing for long stretches of time. Like she took our drink order and then didn’t come back with them for at least 15 minutes. By then I was so thirsty that I drank the whole glass down right quick, which was a mistake because then I was stuck waiting for her to come back. We did get the Blooming Onion but it wasn’t anything spectacular; it sure wasn’t one of those big huge onions we had seen in the entryway. Then she disappeared again for a LONG time, like 30 minutes. I know, because I looked at my phone and was amazed that we had been there for 45 minutes with nothing to show for it but a Blooming Onion and the remains of a Coke.
I should point out that this was a relatively slow night too… we walked in off the street and got seated right away. So we finally got our orders… my son had ordered shrimp, which was some of the smallest shrimp I’ve seen, especially for the prices. i got the prime rib, but at least a good ¼ of it was consumed by a really big lump of fat. My husband’s steak was not cooked all the way. 2 of us got the special «steakhouse mac and cheese» which should have been called the macaroni and pepper, because I couldn’t taste any cheese, just so much pepper.
Anyway, we hadn’t been to Outback in a long time and now it looks like it will be another long while (if ever) before we go back. Just a very disappointing experience.

Terrible service. Steak ordered med rare came so over cooked. Child hamburger was like plastic and hard as a rock. Coffee took over 30. No one cleared plates starting from the apps– they just kept piling up on the table. They said «we ran out of mashed potatoes» we took fries. Steak comes out alone w out a side. They come 15 minutes after the steak was eaten w mashed potatoes. (Thought you said you ran out?!)

The service was already going well, but we have two upset babies and the manager, Cory, just came over and offered to cut my wife’s steak up since she was holding one of our girls while eating.
That is the definition of GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND!

Ordered online, got there and no one had seen the order ticket. Manager waits until the food is almost ready to come out and GIVE BACK my money (yes I paid), and apologizes. «Please give us another chance.»
Then I get home and the order isn’t even right!!! No dressings for appetizer, salad or butter for bread. And the steak cooked completely underdone. I would have tried again, but not now. Terrible let down.

Been here twice they both were a bad experience no good service and food was terrible

Visited Outback for dinner last night. It was our first time at this location. We both ordered the 12 oz sirloin steaks. They were cooked as ordered and delicious. The service was excellent! A gentleman (who was sweeping the floor) asked if the temperature in the restaurant was ok. I said I was a bit chilly and said he would get it changed… which he did. When checking back in with us, we found out he was the owner/​manager. He welcomed us to Vero Beach and gave us a coupon for a return visit. I highly recommend this restaurant for their service and food. We look forward to returning.

We wanted to try their «No Worries Wednesday» menu. It was good for the price. $ 12.99 for soup or salad, entrée and dessert. We also ordered wings and blooming onion, just to get food to the kids quicker. The wings were good, onions were too greasy and soggy. We waited quite a bit for our dinner– 6oz sirloin and Parmesan herb crusted chicken. Waitress came and told us there was a mix up in the kitchen so they comped our appetizers. I would’ve given this place a 5 star but the sirloin had too much grizzle and was tough to cut, even when it was cooked rare. The service was excellent and it’s nice they recognized their mistake and rectify it. Something we haven’t seen in a long long time.

Boohoo! An old favorite off season for fast friendly service with great food… gone wrong. The GM halted my review last time asking me to give them one more shot. Well, I did and yet the same issue occurred. 45 minutes for a piece of fish, 2 burgers and a grilled chicken breast. Quality was good but with 3 kids under 10, this doesn’t work.
When addressed with the server he said, I didn’t cook it. Really? OMG… I see a giant I in this team.
In a tight market, we will continue to go to the mom and pop vs the chain. Funny, this doesn’t occur at your sister restaurant, carabbas, just half mile away. Get it together outback.

Outback of Vero was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Management has no clue how to make a filet mignon. Server was the only reason for the extra star unfortunately.

We went several weeks ago. The one thing I did not like was that we sat down at a booth (originally we were brought to a table). So we switched to the booth and we waited an unusually long time to get served. I guess it might be looked at as «our fault» for switching like that, but still. After finally getting the waitress to come and visit/​welcome us, everything went pretty smoothly after that. The food was good and we have no complaints.

Asked for cheese fries to be layered. Not layered. No plates or ranch delivered with cheese fries. Had to ask for the plates and ranch. My salad arrived without dressing in the side… had to ask for the salad dressing. Waiting for my steak now. will see how this comes out. Did I mention they didn’t offer or ask if we wanted bread. Steak arrived. I ordered medium rate + strange as rate. The server did ask me to cut into the steak to ensure it was prepared correctly. Server came with a plate and took my steak to be prepared as I ordered. Had to repeat My request for steak sauce.
Was not a great experience and considering we are new to the area… will have to find an
alternative.

The choice to go to Outback tonight was very controversial. As a visitor, I was optimistic, as back home we have
great locations for this chain. From what I’ve heard there has been some bad rep surrounding this location– yet it’s the only location in the area for quite some time. I’m sad to say right off the bat with our order of appetizers something happened that I’ve never experienced and was not sanitary. Without giving detail I asked the manager to come over. The manager on shift was James who turned this experience around like I’ve actually never seen. The others dining with me agreed that they have never seen such service to turn an experience around ever. We really are grateful for how we were treated as guests and I know those that live here will be back. Reanne was the waitress who I highly recommend! If every restaurant had management like James perhaps they would last longer and maintain their clientele.

Ryan was my waiter and was excellent. Lobster and steak was delicious but left me wanting more. I failed to add appetizer and didn’t eat bread. I would return again.

Salty salty salty! I had the ribeye melt with fries. First it was so greasy, the ribeye was tough and dry and only like 4 pieces of onion. The fries tasted old and soggy. Everything was covered in a thick layer of salt, after touching my fingers felt like I rubbed my hands in motor oil and then stuck them in the sand.

SO glad we went back, & tried something different! We’ve had the Porterhouse before, even with flavor was WAY too much fat! So, this time… we decided to go for the filet, went ahead & added the lobster since they had a special going! We were shocked at how good it was! The steak was very flavorful & tender, while the lobster was also good even though we weren’t in a seafood joint. All sides were great, & my sweet potato was great!

Just had lunch here. Service was good. Bread was good. Shrimp on the Barbie appetizer excellent. Salads goods. Husbands burger good. My steak tacos absolutely awful. Half the meat was fat and gristle. The other half tasted old. No pico de gallo as stated on menu. Waitress took it away, manager did comp it but never had the courtesy to come to table to apologize.

Wedge salad is usually great but at this location is was just ok. Too much onion and not enough blue cheese or balsamic.
I orderered the ribeye cooked medium and finished on the wood fire. It was overly fatty which was disappointing and a bit undercooked.
Chessecake with raspberry sauce for dessert was good but nothing to write home about.
The service here is very good. Never had to ask for a refill and she checked on us several times. Unfortunately dispite that fact I probably will not return. Been to this location three times and every time has been a disappointment.
Never again.
