Always a great time when we come in. I always forget his name, but he’s always there when we go. He’s the expert of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. You can tell he has a passion of what he sells. He helped us find the perfect one for our upcoming meal. We are sure that we will come back.. as we always do.

I went in for Fig Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic Olive Oil but left with Fig Balsamic and Tuscan Herb Olive Oil because the THOO was sooooo flavorful! I like to use them primarily for dressing but also use the oil for cooking.
The owner was so kind and helpful. He helped us fill our bottles. While we were checking out, he asked what I use them for and gave me a recipe to use the fig balsamic with, can’t wait to try it!
Such a cute store. You can sample everything! Fig is my favorite but I want to try the other flavors next time.

i came into this place because i needed hawaiian red salt for a meal i was making, but the person working at the time greeted me and showed me around. I was in for quite a surprise. The vast array of balsamic and olive oil was just amazing. He walked me through a lot of them by suggesting what kind of meal to pair them with. Each sample I am amazed! Never buying store bought a again.

Let me first preface this by saying I know zero about olive oils and vinegars.
After having our early afternoon hangover recovery meal next door, we walked out and were immediately attracted to the olive plants the store had outside. One thing led to another and the owners were touring us around their store sampling oils and vinegars I never knew existed. From espresso infused balsamic vinegar to chipotle pepper olive oils, there was a ton of variety. The lovely owners explained the possible uses for each one and answered every question we had.
My SO and I left with a bottle of aged balsamic and truffle oil. Great thing is you can bring back your used bottles for a deposit return on your next purchase. This mistake of a trip has us not using box store bought olive oils and vinegars from here on out.

Went to Savor the Olive on a recommendation from a waitress at a local restaurant while I was on vacation in Virginia Beach. It was one of the highlights of the vacation. The store was so unique and I learned so much from Frank the owner about olive oil and vinegars. Frank and his assistant were so helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time with them sampling all the different oils and vinegars. This is a must go to place when you are visiting Virginia Beach.

We happened upon this shop after being in the area to have our taxes done. I whole-​hearedly agree with all the previous reviews. Really high quality product, knowledgable and friendly owners. What sold us was that we are trying to eat healthier and the owner lady suggested we try using their grapefruit vinegar — alone — as salad dressing. I figured it would have to be blended with olive oil, but she was right! And that has no calories and no preservatives! So good. We’ll be back.

I happened in on this place by chance, looking for a Christmas gift for my mom. I was greeted with one of the most enthusiastic women I have ever met, who is obviously passionate about her business and the product. She let me taste countless olive oils, and had tasting notes for each one straight out of her mouth. After deciding on a Frantoio robust olive oil, she let me taste an aged balsamic vin and it was incredible! I ended up spending more on myself than on gifts… but I don’t regret it. This business is incredibly well run and you will be hard-​pressed to find a better authority on olive oil and vinegar. The prices are extremely reasonable and we have been utterly impressed with our purchases. We can’t wait to go back next time I go home to VA Beach!

Great Place! Never knew it was here until a friend took me there. The gourmet olive oils are very fresh tasting and the owners are very helpful with helping you pair it with a vinegar. I’ll go back for sure.

The correct name is Savor the Olive!!! The owner Frank is so knowledgeable about olive oil and balsamic vinegar! I spent an hour tasting and talking food with him. Try the butter infused EVOO, all natural, and amazing. Can’t say enough about this unique store, what you thought you were buying for EVOO, is probably not! Also, not as expensive as you would think, try it!

Something a little different in Virginia Beach! This store is unique in that it deals in Oils and Vinegars very high end but reasonable prices. I never new there were so many different Olive oils. When you enter the Tasting room it has the feel of a wine tasting room the décor is old world meets new and the variety of product is amazing from lemon and garlic infused oils to blood orange and basil. The black cherry vinegar is amazing. The gentleman who guided us around the store was well versed in the various grades and uses of oils and excelled at customer service. Well worth a trip to check out or for a gift for the foodie you know when you don’t know what to get them!
