My son likes going there, but hates the homework. He said there’s too much homework, but I think he’s just lazy. I was watching him (from a distance) do the work and it would take tim over and hour to do 5 pages of work. But when I stand right next to him, he gets the 5 pages done in 15 minutes. So the workload is fair, and the material level matches or slightly exceeds what he’s doing in school.
The instuctors there are great. I can tell they have a ton of patience because seeing how the kids act there, I would have lost my temper 10 times a day. Kudos to them.
Only thing I don’t like about the tutor center is that the waiting area for parents get super hot! Hot like a sauna. When I go there, I would go to the book store next door to kill time, but when I do wait, it gets pretty rough.
